Parallel - A Virtual Reality.

A giant beast walks peacefully around an unknown part of Parallel. Each of its steps made the earth tremble and scare away other monsters. Its eyes were indifferent as it continued walking aimlessly without caring if it stomped other lifeforms.

It resembled a pangolin just that it had a horn on its forehead shining with electricity.

And above the back of that same beast, one could vaguely see a small silhouette compared to the size of the pangolin-like monster.

If one zoomed in, one could distinguish that the silhouette corresponded to a human one. And if one zoomed even further one could see the characters of the human.

A man with sharp Asian features calmly seated cross-legged on the humongous monster and ċȧrėssed the scales of it with a melancholic expression. His black hair fluttered because of the wind, but he didn't care about it as he continued patting the giant beast.

His obsidian eyes then look into the horizon and sigh. He shakes his head takes some stuff from his inventory and brews a cup of tea.

The vapor comes to the brewed tea as he starts drinking it, savoring every sip. A satisfied expression shows on his face

"Kaisers, huh… interesting fellows"

His voice sounds gentle as he remembers what he saw on TV the other day. Kaiser were incredible and talented people in battle. Like rough diamonds, they were sharpened and polished with each battle, and now, they were truly starting to shine.

"Really, that reaction speed is not humane"

The image of Ardha appears in his head as he laughs with an amused expression when he remembered the ridiculous reaction speed of that person on display.

He felt his entire body craving to push himself to that realm, but he knew that was beyond the scopes of what normal humans were able to do.

"I really want to test that reaction speed firsthand"

His eyes shine with excitement, but he soon composes himself as he scratches his head.

"Though right now I would get my ȧss kicked. Our level difference is too big"

Then, the man suddenly looks towards a distant point of the horizon, into the sky.

There, a huge structure starts appearing. The space starts trembling with the mere presence of it as he watches with curiosity and amazement.

That structure emanates terrifying bloodlust and killing intent. As if saying that whoever dares to stop it, would become a bloody pulp.

A sudden notification window appears before the man as he looks at it with surprise.

A smile creeps up his face as he finishes reading it.

"I accept"

As soon as he says those words, a blood-colored rune forms in his forehead,

"Well then, my wish might realize sooner than I expected"

The man smiles widens as he hums joyfully while drinking his tea.

The giant beast, as if reacting to the man's joy, exudes lightning towards the sky from its horn and continues walking.

Soon, very soon, a new event will start.

The Ruins of the Blood God will be opened.
