Paranoid Trap

On the second day of exercise, Nian Gao walked with her sore legs after yesterday’s destruction.

She really wanted to stick herself in place with some adhesive on the soles of her feet, so she didn’t have to go to the gym.

She really wanted to procrastinate and just lay down as if she were going to die.

Sensing someones gaze, she look behind her.

She scratched the back of her head and looked confused.

Recently, she would always feel a pair of eyes staring at her in the dark. But she didn’t find anything.

She turned around and went inside the gym.

When she was changing clothes in the dressing room, she almost cried out because of the pain she was feeling just by raising her arm. The pain was equals to being run over by a car.

She couldn’t take it anymore. She wanted to quit.

She put on her coat again and went to find her personal trainer. She’s going to tell the trainer that she’s not going to work out.

She did not care if she isn’t healthy anymore, as long as she will never exercise again

She found the trainer on the left side of the gym. “Coach, I don’t –”

The coach interrupted her, “Nian Gao, I have something to tell you. I have to go out of town this time. I will let introduced you someone else that would substitute me.”

Nian Gao digested the information from his words as quickly as possible.

The trainer has no time to teach her because he is going in another place. Isn’t that right?

Anyway, she really didn’t want to continue working out.

She cleared her throat. “It’s okay, coach, since you —”

“He will be your new coach,” the trainer cut her off again.

She subconsciously looked towards the person he was pointing out.

The man is wearing a black T-shirt and black trousers. He is about about 1.85 meters. His tall and straight body made him look like a mountain.

When he turn around, seeing his face, Nian Gao was slightly sluggish.

Single eyelid, high bridge of nose and handsome eyebrows.

He went towards them.

“Hello, I’m Jing Xian.” The man stretched out his hand as he introduced himself with his deep and alluring voice.

Nian Gao was motionless, her white and slightly fleshy cheeks were red. She didn’t know why but she felt shy at his gaze.

“Hello?” the man repeated.

He shook her hand gently and politely, and then he withdrew his hand.

Nian Gao could still feel the coolness of his fingertips from the handshake.

He withdrew his action and said with a smiled, “Than, I’ll go first.”

“Can we start now?” Jing Xian lowered his head to meet her eyes.
