"Hello, Amara."

Amara didn't know what to do. She just stood there. When Jungkook raised an eyebrow at her, she pulled her hand out of his grasp.

"Hello."

"Taehyung." Jungkook said.

The blue haired guy she saw before was now carrying a golden coloured basket. He handed it to Namjoon almost immediately. And then he proceeded to hand one to Jin.

Taehyung was Jungkook's bodyguard/butler. He was really close to him as they had grown up together with Taehyung being two years older than him and protecting him from the start.

"This is the first meeting celebration gift." Taehyung said.

As Namjoon was inspecting the basket, its handle which was also golden coloured broke off and fell at their feet.

"Oh. Sorry." Namjoon said.

Amara was struggling to stifle a laugh. Namjoon hadn't broken anything for a while now and that had made everyone worry if he was alright but now they could breathe a sigh of relief...

She had managed to stop herself from laughing but Jin couldn't. He laughed at Namjoon in his face.

His windshield wiper laugh echoed through the empty space.

Amara's efforts at being unaffected were now broken and she couldn't help but escape a few laughs herself.

Jungkook wasn't going to laugh but he had to once he heard Jin's funny laugh. Even the first stotic looking Taehyung couldn't help but smile.

"It's alright." Jungkook said with a smile.

"Oh." Namjoon uttered.

After a moment of silence, Jungkook decided to speak.

"So, have you heard about the betrothal....?"

"Umm, Yeah." Amara said. "Is it very important?" She asked hoping to know his views about the whole ordeal.

"What's important is that I haven't heard anything about what's happening right now." Jin said cutting in the conversation.

"What is wrong with you? You aren't this stupid usually." Namjoon said irritated.

"What?" Jin said looking at Namjoon.

"Yes, the betrothal is actually very important. But can we talk somewhere else?" Taehyung said cutting in.

Now realising that they had to invite them in, Amara sighed. 'The teachers will understand probably.' She thought.

"Let's go inside."

....

When they entered the staffroom. The TV screen was black and everyone was preparing the notes for their lectures.

When Amara entered, they looked up and were greeted by Jungkook's sight. There was shock on their faces then realization dawned in.

"Hello everyone." Jungkook said.

Amara was a little surprised by his casual demeanor. She had thought that he would be more rigid and formal like the princes in the movies... but she didn't mind it, she even liked it to be more specific.

"Hello~" Jimin said.

"Hi." Suga said.

After everyone had greeted them and after everyone was handed a golden basket by Taehyung, they decided to give them some privacy to talk.

While everyone was exiting the staffroom, Namjoon and Jin also did the same and Taehyung also exited.

Amara sat at her desk and Jungkook joined her at the adjoining one.

"What do you think about the betrothal?" Jungkook asked breaking the silence. " Do you have a lover?"

"What do YOU think about it?" Amara asked.

"My decision is going to be based upon yours." Jungkook said.

He looked sincere so Amara knew he wasn't going to force her but she wanted to know if he was willing to marry her and what he thought about it because he hadn't been saying anything about the betrothal at all, as if it didn't matter, as if it was all very normal to him, as if betrothals were very common...

"I don't have a lover and I am not specifically against the betrothal but..."

"It is all very overwhelming to you?" Jungkook said.

Amara nodded. At least he knew how uncommon it was and how difficult it was for her to adapt to these new circ.u.mstances.

"I know it must have been a shock to you. All this was suddenly thrown upon you." He said nodding.

"But what was this like for you? Did you already know about this??" Amara asked.

She knew how it felt to her. But she wanted to know why he was so calm about this... Did he already know about this?

"I was told about it recently but I wasn't very shocked because there were hints and clues about the betrothal all the time." He said.

"Are you fine with this?" She asked.

"I share the same feelings as you." He said looking into her eyes.

"So what are we supposed to do now?" She asked directly. "What about the betrothal??"

"The betrothal is actually very important but if you don't want to, then I will not force you, it is up to you.."

"Do you not mind marrying me?"

"I don't." It was all he said. There was an indescribable emotion in his eyes.

Amara didn't know much about him but he seemed like he knew her for a long time... He looked like he actually didn't mind marrying her at all but all he was waiting for was her approval...

Amara was a little overwhelmed by the whole ordeal. She liked Jin but she knew it was not healthy for her to keep loving someone one-sidedly... She was trying to move on and she knew it was a great opportunity but she didn't want to marry someone she didn't know.

She didn't know what it would cost them if they broke off the betrothal but she didn't care. She didn't mind marrying him but if she was going to marry him, she had to get to know him first. Her main focus was if she could fall in love with him...

"Do YOU mind marrying me?" Jungkook asked. There was something more in his voice than just curiosity... was it nervousness?

"I don't but I'd like to get to know you first."
