Peerless Alchemist: Useless Sixth Miss

"Anything else?...You both?" Her voice tinted with cruelty, while her eyes flashed a dangerous gleam.

"Anything else?"

Puzzled, Zhang Xiu's eyes became blank as she tried her hardest to recall, but none come to mind. Everything she had previously taken all had returned, so what was left?

Even Zhang Chenguang unconscious repeated the question, her mind jumbled up.

"Anything else?" Rong Fangsu once again repeated the question.

Upon hearing the same question, Zhang Xiu become listless, her hand all over the place. Since she was unable to remember anything else, she started desperately take out everything within her possession. From her sleeves, she took out money, silver then she moved to remove jewelry and even the pretty jade hairpins on her head.

In one swift move, her ice cold eyes sweep to Zhang Chenguang causing the latter to do the same, flung out all the items she had one by one it, in time all precious item scattered over the floor.

"Sixth…Sixth Sister, I have taken out everything that was on me. Everything looked…" her index finger pointed to various objects in front of her before continued "I'll give you everything, so please, please spare my life...." Zhang Xiu pleaded her voice low and lacked its previous proud and haughty.

Zhang Chenguang did the same, she slowly starting pleading "Me too…just spare me"

With tail of her eyes sweeping across the various objects spread across floor again in lazy manner, Rong Fangsu discontentedly said: "You are the Zhang Manor's beloved Seventh Miss." Then her cold glance landed Zhang Chenguang "And you esteem Second Miss. How could you two possibly be this poor? Could it be that you're still hiding some items?"

"Sixth...Sixth Sister...please..I really didn't hide anything….."

"Yes…just let me go" Zhang Chenguang wailed in a soft voice, fear eaten her heart whole, draining all remaining her energy.

Rong Fangsu frown at the sight, her phoenix brow arched, even so she continued her interrogation:

"No money? Do you think I'm stupid? Look at yourself and ask yourself whether or not if you truly have no money left? Look now, after the damage you have caused. Do you think you can walk freely? If you do not make the proper compensations, how can my spirit be at peace?

Shuddering from those words, Zhang Xiu's words were shaky as she replied: "Sixth Sister...…I really...anything else, I'm really don't have any money left but Second Sister…..she has money, so...so" she squeezed out the last sentence in one breathe.

"Zhang Xiu, how dare you accused me?! I too have nothing left" Zhang Chenguang shot an angry glare at her then shifted her gaze the ghost-like girl in front of her before pleading desperately: "Believe me Sixth Sister…I speak the truth".

She scoffed and looked at Zhang Xiu and Zhang Chenguang with narrowed eyes.

"Fine" she scorned at the two before continued, "seems like you really are poor. Why don't you two signatures then."

Zhang Xiu blinked in confusion, anxiety eating her up.

"What?" Zhang Chenguang's eyes blank and empty.

Lowering her head, Rong Fangsu swiftly threw a piece of paper towards Zhang Xiu and another at Zhang Chenguang.

The two Misses were confused at the sudden turn of event. What is Zhang Wen Jing thinking? Ever since the suicide, something about her changed is this really the Sixth Sister who well-known for being weak and cowardly.

But due to fact that Zhang Xiu was overwhelmed with fear, she did not even stop to think for a moment why a ghost would ask for money or compensation. She was so afraid that she didn't even see the contents on the piece paper, instead proceeded to the snatch the brush that rolling on the floor and signed her name down immediately. This is the same for normally sharp Second Miss, who too made a swift work of signing her name.

In one fluid move, the paper was picked, Rong Fangsu's sharp eyes scanned it before nodding in approval and said in a satisfied tone: "Lastly. Take off your clothes and sincerely apologized by kowtowing to me three times! You can scam then!"
