Perfect Haters

- Tsing University Dormitory -

"Are you sure I would have to wear this? I don't think I would be able to pull this gown off. I prepared something here." Han Ri looked at the gown in her hands.

Tang MingYu smiled lovingly, "Of course it will suit you, I personally picked this for you. Go ahead, try it on. I'll wait outside."

Han Ri let out a smile and closed their room's door.

"Waah! Sister Han Ri! You looked very stunning! That black gown matched well with your make-up! Your skin complimented it!" Yu Li clapped her hands loudly.

"Shhh! MingYu was just outside, he could hear you!"

"Aish, don't be shy Xiao Ri. I'm telling the truth. Go ahead, I would also change now!" Yu Li pushed her to the door.

As the door opened, Han Ri felt extremely nervous. Fortunately, she was able to conceal it and looked confident.

"Is it okay?"

Seeing Tang MingYu kept on staring at her, she punched his shoulder lightly and glared at him.

"Stop looking at me like that, I'm feeling uncomfortable." She tried to look calm as possible. She isn't really fond of wearing extravagant dresses. Tang MingYu picked too expensive gown for her.

Today, she was wearing a black long-sleeved gown that was accentuated with silver sequins and diamonds that seemed to be real. Though the gown was fully closed, it revealed her slender arms and fair neck. Her ink-black hair was tied up into a bun, making her more delicate to look at. Her pretty face glows the same way how her gown glimmers. Her aura suited the gown well. She looked like a cold-hearted princess that exuded elegance and gracefulness.

Tang MingYu regained his senses after Han Ri's slight punch.

"You're all on that gown, yet you still act tough. Don't you know that you're really attractive in any ways?" MingYu squeezed her left cheek.

Han Ri frowned. She tried move away her face.

"It hurts."

Tang MingYu immediately retracted his hand and kissed her cheeks quickly.

"You!" Han Ri glared at him.

"I just want you to smile."

Han Ri smirked. By that time she could see Tang MingYu bowing slightly with his arms extended towars her. His right palm was opened as if he's begging for something.

"To the beautiful lady at my front tonight, Miss Han Ri, will you allow me to be your partner for tonight?" MingYu spoke elegantly and full demeanor of a man. He looked like he was the best bachelor in the whole Beijing.

"What if I changed my mind just right now?"

Tang MingYu continued to speak with full authority. "You have no choice but to agree, because you're mine."

Han Ri knew that Tang MingYu wanted to go along with his act, so she held his hand and spoke with full gracefulness. "Yes you may, mister."

By then, Tang MingYu stood straight and held her hand tighter.

"You little woman, you're making things difficult for me." He slightly pinched her nose which made Han Ri laugh.

"Let's go." The two got into MingYu's car. The venue was quite far from their dorm.

Yu Li was the only one left inside their dorm. Cai ShenYi left early to help her station while Han Ri just left with Tang MingYu.

She looked at the gown in her hands, she just saw it outside earlier and was placed inside a box. She knew it was for her because there's a note indicating that the gown was meant for her.

She couldn't stop giggling thinking who it might be. But one thing is possible, it could be from her partner. She was getting more excited and decided to wear it on.

After half an hour, she was all set. She went in front of the mirror and looked at herself.

In contrast to Han Ri's gown, she's wearing a blue and white off shoulder gown, giving off a lighter vibe. It was ornamented with refined pearls and paired with blue silk gloves. Her delicate collarbones were revealed. Her plump cheeks added a fresh, young aura on her look. Her brown hair was braided to perfection, designed with pearl clips. She looked like a water goddess, it would be refreshing to look at her.

She really worked hard to make herself presentable, it was once in a lifetime experience after all.

She kept on squeezing her stomach in, making her cheeks looked thinner and kept on practicing herself in heels.

Too bad, she was beautiful as she is, but she isn't aware of it.

After practicing herself, she smiled into the mirror and gathered up her courage. She promised herself that she would enjoy herself tonight.

Knock! Knock!

A sudden knock made Yu Li more frenzied. She rushed over and opened the door.
