Perfect Haters

"Cai ShenYi?" During their breaktime, an unexpected person approached ShenYi as she go down on her seat while carrying her food tray. She looked unto the unknown person questionably as if she was asking who the person is.

"ShenYi its really you! Woah! You really became a grown up person huh! Tell me, how come you're here? I never saw you last year here even for a glimpse." The unknown person said cheerfully.

"I'm sorry but do I know you? Did we already met in the past?" ShenYi asked the person in a very confusing manner.

"Oh come on, Xiao[1] Yi, it's me! Your little YangYang! How come you already forgot your old childhood friend?! I'm very disappointed!" He said while having a sad look in his eyes.

She suddenly have a realization. Apart from her parents, there is only one who calls her 'Xiao Yi'.

"YangYang? You mean 'Feng MuYang'? Is that you?" after asking, she froze. A distant memory flew in her eyes.

Feng MuYang, they are indeed childhood friends. Since they went to the same school since kinder up to middle school, they are really close to each other. It was also because both of their parents are friends and good neighbours. Many people thought that she and MuYang will end up marrying each other, but fate led them into different ways. During their first year in entering highschool, from Fujian, China, ShenYi and her family moved to Shanghai because of her dad's work. Her dad is a salesman without a concerete contracts within every company so he always end up terminating his short term contract and continued to search for a permanent job.

Since then, she don't have any contact with MuYang and doesn't know what happened to him and his family.

Yes she admits that she had a huge crush on MuYang. She admired him for his kindness, funny personality and of course, looks. Though MuYang can be classified as a middleclass man that has their own business, it doesn't hinder ShenYi to interact with him. But she didn't expect that her infatuation towards him will lead to love. She loved MuYang as a man but she never let him knew anything about it because she knew that MuYang treats her only as a friend. Until she slowly moved on while she was away and realized that it was all puppy love.

She didn't expect to meet him again in this moment. Seeing him, she felt surprised and noticed that he has grown into a handsome gentleman.

"Oh, finally you remembered this handsome man before you! I miss you!" She snapped back into reality when she felt that MuYang was hugging her.

'Oh, ShenYi, just treat her as a friend okay? No feelings involved.' She said to herself.

She immediately removed herself from his embrace and playfully messed his hair. "You are clingy and shameless as ever YangYang! Stop that attitude. We are grown up now, we need to act like a.d.u.l.ts." She said with an aloofness in her eyes.

MuYang laughed and teased her. "Wait, don't tell me you are already m.a.t.u.r.e enough huh! I'm older than you so don't act like my mother! Or grandma maybe?"

ShenYi automatically slapped Muyang shoulder playfully. Now, it was cleared, she could feel now is friendliness towards him. Nothing more than that.

As they are laughing, a man walk past towards them that both of them shut their mouths as they felt the coldness in their area. The man stared at MuYang's eyes as he has the intent to kill him. MuYang couldn't help but shiver. But this scenario didn't escape from ShenYi's eyes.

'It was only my first day here and he really have the guts to ruin my day twice!' ShenYi was irritated because of him. She looked at the pale MuYang and tried to comfort him.

"Don't worry YangYang, I'm here to protect you. As your bestfriend, I'll surely make a revenge!"

"D-d-don't you try Xiao Yi, d-d-don't you know who that man is?"

[1] 'Xiao' means little. Xiao Yi means little Yi. It makes the name of the person more endearing when you call him/her.
