Perfect Haters

"Hahahahaha! Look at him! He's doing weird yet it was funny!"

Zhang Feng's boredom vanished after hearing ShenYi's chuckle beside him. He started to neglect the moving pictures and stared into her happy face instead.

'Is this really ShenYi? She looks like an old woman when arguing with me. She even appeared like a granny everytime she enters classroom.'

'Who would've thought that she still had a heart like those of a kid? She laughed easily in every joke, it doesn't look like she have no problems at all.'

'Why do you have to be so unpredictable?'

Unlike earlier, he cannot see clearly ShenYi's laughter. This time, he saw it in close up view.

He didn't know what's with her smile that keeps him very addicted to it. She was different from other girls he met during business gatherings, charity balls and school events that always smile very timidly in front of him. Thinking about those girls' plastered smile and shy acts, he felt disgusted.

Then he realized that he likes her because she's true to herself. She laughs without caring about the whole world. She's letting herself out, ignoring what other people would think of her. She's voicing out whatever she wanted, even if she's mad or happy.

Feeling Zhang Feng's intense stare, ShenYi hold back her laughter.

"Why did you stop? I want to see you laugh." Zhang Feng said to her.

"Eh, why are you watching me instead of the movie?"

"Go watch. I would love to see you enjoying it."

ShenYi, "...."

'Urgh, I thought I could divert his attention away, but it turns out I could not.'

ShenYi tilt Zhang Feng's shoulder to face the big screen.

"I'm not going to enjoy it alone, let's watch it together!"

"Right. To-ge-ther."

Hearing those emphasized words, ShenYi smacked her face inwardly.

'Can't you just be careful with what are you going to say next time? ShenYi, what happened to you?!'

"Yeah, together. So don't stare at me like that. Watch with me."

ShenYi had no choice but to ride on her mistake.

Zhang Feng grinned.

'Last time, you pushed me away. Now, you're saying that we're together. Heh, day will come you will get caught with your own words.'

ShenYi started to laugh all over again. Zhang Feng could only use his peripheral vision to glance at her.

"Hey Zhang Feng! That's a great one right? I would like to watch more movies like that in the future." ShenYi's mood was still light after enjoying the film.

"Then I would love to accompany you wherever you want."

ShenYi's mood changed drastically into an awkward state.

"That's not what I mean! I-"

Before she could speak more, Zhang Feng held her hand and walked towards a restaurant.

"Let's eat. Maybe you're hungry now."

Not noticing their intertwined hands, ShenYi stopped as if she's searching for something.

"Y-yeah, b-but can I request for something?" ShenYi felt shameless for the first time.

"C-can we eat inside a Japanese Restaurant? It's been a long time since I've tasted something like that."

"No need to be ashamed of. Let's go!" Zhang Feng responded easily.

He felt happy because ShenYi tried to open up her opinions to him. Even though she was really like that, he can't explain the happiness inside him.

-At the ticketbooth of 'MOVIE HALL'-

"Z-ZhangWei! Look who's coming out of the cinema hall!" Wang ShiShi exclaimed hurriedly.

Fei ZhangWei's line of sight followed Wang ShiShi's point of direction.

"Woah! It's Zhang Feng! I wonder where is Tang MingYu?" Ju Ri added.

Fei ZhangWei's eyes narrowed after seeing another woman beside him.

"Girls, wait. Can't you recognize that girl beside him?" Fei ZhangWei interrupted her friend's thought.

"Let's follow them!" Ju Ri requested.

"No Ju Ri! We can't! We promised our followers to watch this famous movie, now that we have these tickets, there's no way we could back down! Don't be an idiot!" Fei ZhangWei tried to suppress her anger but she can't. She wanted to follow them as well but she know she couldn't. She was bursting out of jealousy.

"Yeah Xiao Ri. We can't." Wang ShiShi coaxed Ju Ri after hearing ZhangWei's terrifying words.

"Enough. Let's go inside. We can deal with them later." ZhangWei entered the hall.
