Perfect Haters

"Why are they taking them too long?" Han Ri was getting impatient.

"Just wait, maybe there's a traffic jam." MingYu calmed her.

"I'm so hungry now!" Yu Li started to complain.

Ting!

As they spoke, MingYu's phone rang.

[Chu LiMin: Bro Tang, does ShenYi already arrived there now?]

MingYu furrowed his brows.

[Xiao Yu: Not yet, didn't you two supposed to be together? What happened? Where's Zhang Feng?]

[Chu LiMin: Ai, it's a long story. I'll drive back now.]

MingYu tightened his grip on his phone.

'What did go wrong? Did the two bicker again?'

After the party, many guests already left. The only people left was Fei ZhangWei and her family.

"I knew it! Zhang Feng was an obedient grandchild!" Zhang LingTian walked towards them.

Zhang Feng didn't react. It was getting late. The more he prolong it, the more ShenYi would misunderstood it.

"Why not let them marry after two months?" Fei XinLei asked.

Everyone was dumbfounded. But Fei ZhangWei managed to save her mom.

"Ai, mom it's too early. After we graduate, then we could held the wedding." Although she wanted it to be soon as possible, she couldn't act shameless in front of them.

"Don't worry granddaughter-in-law, I'll plan everything." Zhang LingTian coaxed her.

Fei ZhangWei was extremely delighted. She wondered how will ShenYi react after the news.

After they leave, Zhang Feng hurriedly walked towards Zhang LingTian.

"Do you really have to hurt ShenYi just for this marriage?" Zhang Feng's eyes was flaring with anger.

"If that's the only way to make you follow me, then why not?" Zhang LingTian laughed and walked away.

He wanted to strangle the old man to death, but Zhang LingTian's bodyguards protected him.

"Do I really look like some token for your friendship?!" Zhang Feng shouted, and rushed to his room.

The old man, didn't moved by his words. For the sake of the Zhang's future, he was willing to do anything.

Inside his room, he wiped out everything on the table. Even his childhood picture with his grandpa had it's frame shattered.

He didn't know what to do.

What he did was a big gamble.

He opened his phone and saw three missed calls from MingYu and five missed calls from ShenYi. After that, a message popped in his inbox.

[Tang MingYu: Where are you? We've been waiting for an hour. Come over here at the garden's pavilion.]

He wanted to call ShenYi but he thought that it's better to explain it to her in person. He hurriedly drove to the given address.

- Garden's Pavilion -

"Why did Zhang Feng do that?" Han Ri was confused.

"I don't know, I tried to sneak at the last part of the event and I heard he's going to agree with the marriage." LiMin explained.

"Have you seen Xiao Yi after that?" Yu Li was worried.

LiMin was awkward to answer her question, but he knew it's not the time to be awkward now.

"I don't have the chance to see her reaction. I don't know where she had been now."

Screech!

Zhang Feng immediately get out of his car.

"Zhang Feng! How dare you!" In a second, Feng MuYang's fists landed on his face.

Whack!

After punching him two times, he stopped. Zhang Feng tasted a metallic liquid at the corner of his mouth.

"Can't you see this? She prepared all of this for you! And what have you done?! Agreeing to the other party and leaving her in a mess?" Feng MuYang popped out his bubbles.

"Calm down everybody, let's give him a chance to explain." LiMin said.

Zhang Feng sighed deeply. He saw the neatly arranged balloons and highly decorated area. He saw the banner, he knew how much effort Cai ShenYi put on it. He felt bad for what he had done.

"I-Is ShenYi here?" He faintly asked.

"She's still not coming back." MingYu said.

"Can you please leave me alone this time?" Zhang Feng asked.

"A-Alright." Everyone started to leave. The anticipated celebration turned into a huge disaster.

He walked towards the table, and saw his favorite dishes. He knew Cai ShenYi cooked all of it. He suppressed his tears from falling down.

He then walked towards the gift section, and saw a paper bag along with a letter attached unto it. It was ShenYi's handwriting. He tried to read the letter for him.

[ Hey! It's your birthday today! Do you like my surprise? Your friends said that you never celebrate your birthday, but now that you have me, I'll make sure you will experience the best party in your life. Your girlfriend was really capable! Now that you're older than me, please take care of this cute woman! Happy Birthday! I love you!.....]

There were a lot more attached to the letter, Zhang Feng couldn't continue to read it anymore. Zhang Feng's manly tears rolled down uncontrollably, he felt guilty of what he did.

'Yeah, this was the happiest birthday celebration ever!' He sarcastically thought.

Though he was powerful, there's only one person above him. It was his grandfather.

ShenYi was right, he had to protect her. What he need is to make his own force so that he could be by her side no matter what.

However, he wanted to call her first.

Ring!

After dialling ShenYi for 15 times, the cellphone was still unattended.

CRASH!

He threw his phone hardly to the ground.

It shattered into pieces. Every piece reflected his sullen face.

He didn't know where ShenYi had gone!
