Perfect Haters

"ShenYi ah! Isn't this place very beautiful?" Cai Sheng asked ShenYi.

ShenYi was busy walking at the lobby with her suitcase. She nodded robotically.

"Is there anything wrong?" Cai Sheng noticed her absent-mindness.

"Ah, mom. Nothing's wrong. It's quite pretty here!" She pretended to be happy.

"Don't worry child. Even it's because of Zhang Feng, or anything. I and your father will definitely make you happy." Cai Sheng said.

"I told you Xiao Yi, that man isn't good for you." Cai HongBai added.

"Mom, dad. That's not it. It's just.... I have many things it my mind." She replied.

"Mr. Cai." A man in front of them suddenly appeared.

"Mr. He!" The husband and wife quickly bowed. ShenYi followed them too.

"Do you like this hotel?" He MingZi purposely looked at ShenYi, who was still bowing her head.

Cai Sheng didn't saw it so she immediately replied to him, "It's very good Boss He! We're going to enter our room now."

"Alright. Enjoy." He MingZi's thin lips curved upwards as he saw the three leaving.

- Zhang Mansion -

"Grandpa! What's your problem again?"

"I told you don't go after that girl! Your reputation as a loyal man will be ruined!"

"You said it yourself, I had to be loyal to the ones I love." Zhang Feng answered.

"And that should be with ZhangWei!" He was starting to burst with anger.

"If you dare go after her, I'll crush her and her family into pieces!" He was really angry at this moment.

"All of you, guard Zhang Feng. Don't let him out of the mansion." He spoke to the guards then walked away.

Zhang Feng kicked his door to open. He thinks that he shouldn't trigger the old man anymore or else, his grandfather were going to cut the signal in the whole area.

He picked up a new phone from his cabinet and inserted an extra sim. He contacted Xi Jin.

"Boss."

"Where is she?"

"She's at Taiwan now. She's having a vacation with her family."

"Alright. Prepare men for me." Zhang Feng replied.

"Pardon, boss?"

"I need to make my own forces. Be sure to work along the shadows. Don't let Zhang LingTian knew about it. Train them to be my best team."

"Yes boss. This subordinate understands."

After Zhang Feng hanged up, his servant entered the room.

"Young Master Zhang, here's your snack." Mei Guang placed the tray at the small table baside his bed.

"Hmm. Thanks."

"Even though old master is a bit cruel to you, I couldn't afford to let you go hungry. I'm your servant since you're still young. Please eat well." Mei Guang added.

"En."

After sometime, Zhang Feng's head looked up. His handsome face had a frowned eyebrows on it.

Mei Guang was startled at his master's actions. He started to produce beads of sweat on his foreheads. He subconsciously bowed his head.

"Why are you still here?" Zhang Feng asked.

"Young master, I haven't see you often after the first week of classes. I wonder what happened to you." Mei Guang replied nervously.

"And what does it matter to you?" Zhang Feng's cold voice pierced Mei Guang's poor heart.

"Young Master, don't be too harsh. I could sense that there's something new to your aura. Did our future young miss-"

"Don't waste our money gossiping around." Zhang Feng broke Mei Guang's nonesense. It seems like he's still the same Mei Guang as before, talkative as ever.

Mei Guang sulked in the corner. He was trying to joke but his master brushed him off.

He lift up his head and answered, "I basically raised you up here inside the Imperial Palace. I observed what kind of person you are. I knew it's not Miss ZhangWei, but whoever it is, she's better for you." Mei Guang said.

"Finally said something better."

Mei Guang smiled. However, his lips stayed hanging when Zhang Feng continued, "Go out now."

"Young Master, I-"

"Out."

"Always remember young master that you have my back always!" Mei Guang rapped his sentence to avoid being stopped by Zhang Feng and immediately left the room.

'Why is his master was still so scary?' He protested.

Inside the room, Zhang Feng smiled. He felt a bit of hope in his heart. Not everyone in this house was cruel. Mei Guang's words filled his heart with warmth.

Even though he would always mock and ignore him at times, Mei Guang truly cared about him.

"Are you okay?"

ShenYi was busy eating breakfast at the hotel's restaurant. She was circling her fork through the pasta lifelessly when she heard a voice in front of him.

She looked up and saw He MingZi. She immediately stood up and bowed.

"Good morning, Mr. He." Her tone was distant as if they had a relationship like a boss to his employee.

He MingZi sighed. This girl always placed boundaries between them. However, he kept on talking to her.

"You are in a daze, are you okay?"

ShenYi bowed again and said, "Boss He doesn't need to mingle within some personal affairs. However, I thank you for your concern." She said then continued eating.

"Do you like the food?" He MingZi started to sit at the chair opposite to her.

ShenYi was getting pissed off. But she managed to conceal it properly.

"I think Mr. He shouldn't waste his time on this."

"It's a vacation, what's with wasting time?"

"I wish Mr. He wouldn't disturb my privacy of eating alone." She said while looking straightly at him.

He MingZi smiled but didn't talk further. It made ShenYi annoyed more.

She stood up and said, "Mr. He, I thank you for your concern earlier, but I hope next time, you wouldn't appear on my sight agai." She then walked away.

He MingZi looked at her back. Before she could take another step, he spoke.

"You haven't finished eating yet."

ShenYi looked back. "I'm already full. I'm going now."

He MingZi smirked as he saw ShenYi walking away. They haven't even talked for so long but he felt he was instantly rejected. After knowing that Zhang Feng would be married to another girl, he felt bad for ShenYi. Still, he doesn't want to waste the opportunity to pursue her now.

'Tsk. Everything isn't still settled on the stone. I still have time.'
