Pink Lotus Mining Company

It is a week after we start mining. I work for more than 12 hours a day, and when Eli saw me working, she also starts working. I don't know how many time I have said to her that she don't need to work that much, just 8 hour is enough. But she always ignore it.

In this week, we have mined the asteroid and making ship's storage full two times. I estimate I can get a monthly income around 90,000 petal, well... it's normal, the mining module work for 12 hour a day after all. My company before just work for 8 hour a day and 5 days a week, the monthly income is at 60,000 petal, and expense at around 50,000. Now my expense is.... I'll give Eli a 5000 petal salary, I don't need to think food expense for the next few months, mining module's monthly maintenance is at 5000 petal, and for distributor company, lets just say 5000... In total my expense is around 15,000.

With that much profit I can pay all of my loan in the first month. I also thinking of adding 6 new staff so the machine can work for 16 hour a day. If that really happened, the monthly income can soar to 120,000 petal, while my expense just increase by 15,000 petal. This ship is totally something, if ship like this is mass produced, the mining product price will go down a lot for sure.

Because of working for 7 days straight, I feel tired and decided to rest for the day. I work for 7 days straight because I feel that if I didn't work that hard I can't keep the company alive. But looking at things now, I'll have a 2 days break every week... And because today is Thursday, I decided to have a special 4 days break until Sunday.

I talk to Eli about the 4 days break and her reaction is.

"Oh, it is good then. I actually quite worried if you keep working everyday. So, what do you want to do in this break? Want to go somewhere?"

"I don't know, you have a suggestion?"

"I actually have, but I don't think you want that... Do you want to know where?"

"Where?"

"Let's go to my room~!" said Eli with grin.

"No! Not today!"

"Cmon, we are just playing some game~" she asked cutely. But, I'll not fall for that.

"You know, for the past few days you invite me to play game... Do you think I'm an idiot? What kind of 'playing a game' is that?"

Yes, for this past few days, I go to her room 'playing game'. And that is one more reason why I feel so tired today. I don't know from where she got that much energy.

"We are playing a real game today... Or do you want to go somewhere?"

"Where do you think is good?" We got back to my first question.

"I ... don't know."

"I'll just watch some film then. Want to watch together??"

"Yes! Let's play a game after that!"

I can only sigh hearing that.

A day passed quickly, after watching two film, we play a game.... A real one. It is a newly released VRMMORPG, it just released a month ago. According to some online review, it have a very interesting story, great character and a competitive PvP scene.

I played a little and just sleep after that.

Now is Friday, I actually planned to go to space terminal 11 for hiring more people. But Eli said, there is no need to go there if I want to hire people, you can hire people using internet. It is my first time hearing something like that. I ask her to explain more about that.

"You know that I search for job before right? Actually I just access an app from Ministry of Labour, and sign up using my identity... The app will then give me some recommended workplace that is hiring. I can apply to workplace that I want using that app, that workplace can read my education and work history that is recorded in my identity. If my application pass their requirements, they will contact me for job interview... Why not just try that app?"

"Is it that simple to search for job?"

"Yes, it is that simple. Getting the job isn't that simple though..." she sighed.

"Haha, you now have a job right??"
