“Kuh!”

A strong blow once again shook the warehouse.

Jae Kal Hyun tried to calm the tremors. Biting his lip, he hurried to the warehouse management office.

"Shit," his face twisted.

He never thought that the demon from the prophecy would attack their warehouse. It wasn’t even a vague possibility he thought of...

“Really?” Jae Kal Hyun shouted in his head.

He remembered the faces of two people he had met a little earlier today. What's happening doesn't seem like a regular coincidence.

“But, not now.” He shook his head as he put the thought on hold.

This is not the time to speculate or suspect someone. Now he needs to stop the demon’s barrage of attacks on the warehouse. This needed to be dealt with instantly.

"Fuh," he took a deep breath.

His body trembled, but for not too long. He quickly regained his composure and looked around the room from which he could control the contraptions protecting the warehouse. He sat down on a huge chair and held out his hands to the controls of the mechanisms.

“Speak, demon of the prophecy…”

He swallowed hard, his throat had dried up. Jae Kal Hyun flexed his fingers excitedly.

“You may be considered the scariest monster…

…but that doesn’t mean you will break into the warehouse easily.”

Grace described him as a terrible creature, but he wasn’t bluffing when he said the demon wasn’t getting in. Jae Kal Hyun was in charge of guarding this warehouse. He used more than a dozen different techniques to protect this space from unwanted guests.

In war, he erected high walls that even military armed to the tee couldn’t break through. At least here, according to his calculations, the demon from the prophecy will not be able to get through.

‘First, we need to inform the main office.’

Jae Kal Hyun put on a white mask and held a transparent ball in his hands.

“I need urgent reinforcements.”

As confident as he was, the most important thing now was to tell Gaia what was happening. And with all the technology he has, he can buy extra time until help arrives.

"No," a smile broke from him. “If everything goes according to plan, we might even be able to defeat him.”

The man checked the surrounding areas and confirmed that the demon had come alone. This means that Satan is trying to break into the warehouse without any support. This is an opportunity that may never show itself again.

And he did his best to apply modern technology to the abilities. Even tho his family reacted negatively to this, he did not think to stop.

"Time to get started." Putting on his helmet, he put his hands on the control console.

After much research and effort, he created state-of-the-art equipment for his technique.

“Not enough. Raise to four.”

[Correction. Protection level increased to 4 units]

As the machine began to work, Jae Kal Hyun ran his fingers over the console, and the sound of rapid dialing of the keys immediately broke the dead silence in the room.

"Go".

The demon in the red mask moved to the front of the warehouse. But he did it very slowly as if it was a leisurely stroll.

The man frowned.

“You are alone and In charge of this place aren’t you?”

He didn't like it at all. Fingers ran across the keyboard even faster.

"Let's see how long you can stay so calm."

In front of the demon, two magical symbols surfaced. They soared into the air and flames emerged raining down on the demon.

Reflected from the black curtain behind which the demon was hidden, the fire went into the ground. The demon didn't stop. Ice spears emerged from a third magic pattern aimed at the demon. He waved his hand and the spears fell apart. The demon continued to walk towards the entrance.

Sharp spikes appeared from the ground, which the demon easily destroyed and continued to move.

36 magical symbols had been used and he uses the 37th. The wind picked up and a bright light enveloped the demon, but he got rid of it with a snap of his finger. In an instance, the bright light vanished, stunning Jae Kal Hyun even more.

The demon kept moving.

On the 64th pattern, Jae Kal Hyun created a powerful explosion. He was so strong that his ears rung from within the room. Like some movie characters, the demon appeared out of the dust and didn't turn around. It didn't have a scratch on it. The aura that shrouded him got darker.

The demon inched step by step.

“Increase defense to five units.”

Jae Kal Hyun's forehead was drenched in cold sweat, and the speed at which his hands moved increased.

[Protection increased to 5 units]

The wall of the warehouse opened and golems appeared in the frontline, glowing blue, which immediately rushed at the demon. He sat down and as if spreading his wings, lowered his hands down, and then spread them out to the sides. Blades emerged from the dark shroud and pierced the stone creatures. With one move, the army of golems was overwhelmed.

“Upgrade your defense to six units!”

[Protection increased to 6 units]

The 172 magic symbols appeared. Surrounding the demon, all 172 symbols lit up at once.

Light wedges headed for the demon.

With a wave of a black hurricane, he disassembled the wedges, and they scattered around.

“Oh…”

Jae Kal Hyun was having trouble breathing. The fingers moved so fast across the keyboard that it seemed that it was about to break.

The wedges flew apart and broke each other, and a dazzling brilliance filled the space. A huge, thirty meters in length, a luminous spear was created.

He used even more force. There were ten spears. The original, of course, was one, but thanks to his ability, he was able to create copies. They flew forward.

"He won't be able to block this attack."

This time, he was sure of himself.

The Grand Canyon shook with a powerful explosion. Rocks began to crumble and clouds of dust hung in the air. And...

The demon laughed. Jae Kal Hyun couldn't see it because of the mask, but he could feel the sneer behind that mask.

“Ha-...  ha…” His breath hitched.

Blood started to pour from his nose. It dripped down her chin and onto the floor.

“Increase defense to seven units.”

[Protection increased to 7 units. Guardian Sword…]

Before he could hear the end of the system message, the wall cracked and the demon in the red mask entered the room.

Jae Kal Hyun was horrified.

“M-m-monster…”

He was shaking, and apart from the word stuttered delivery of “monster”, his mind blanked.

“Who are you comparing to a monster?” the demon asked in a rough low voice. "Do you think you can stop me with your toys?"

The demon stretched out his hand and Jae Kalhyun's body was filled with intense pain.

“Kuh!”

“Remember, human,” eyes filled with malice as they looked out from under the mask.”I am death. I am the end of everything. I am the lord of fury. Hell, even I hate myself.”, he smirked.

He tilted his mask to the side.

“I am Satan.”

Jae Kal Hyun lost consciousness.

“What?” Gaia's voice trembled.

The spoon in her hand fell to the floor. Gaea's hand, in which she held the bonding orb, trembled.

“What happened?” Si Hong asked anxiously.

They had fun having dinner at Kang Woo's house, but a sudden call changed everything and Gaia became gloomy. Due to her sudden change of face, Kang Woo, Grace, and Han Sol also expressed concern.

“S- the warehouse… it’s been attacked.

“Attacked? By whom? Demon?” Kang Wu hurriedly clarified.

With a pale face, Gaia continued,

“The warehouse was attacked by… Satan.”

“What?!”

Everyone was surprised by what they heard.

Kang Woo, Si Hong, and Grace opened their mouths in awe at the fact the the place they just visited had been attacked by Satan himself. 

Did Satan personally attack the warehouse?. It may seem ridiculous, but no one thought that Satan himself would do anything.

“Satan?!” Si Hong squeezed her shoulder shuddering.

Gaia bit her lip and nodded her head.

“Yes… They say that he attacked the warehouse an hour ago and took all the Seeds of Sundering with him.”

“K-k-k…” Si Hong immediately got up from the table and turned to Kang Woo. “Kang Woo!”

He nodded his head and stood up, "Let's go." 

Si Hong created the Gate leading to the Keepers' sanctuary, Grace and Gaia followed him. Kang Woo entered the Gate last.

"Fine".

Using the Split Force, Kang Woo had created a doppelgänger. But, of course, a doppelganger wouldn't have the power to overwhelm the warehouse. He simply did not have the strength to make a copy that strong. But the copy was completely capable of calmly having a meal and keeping up the conversation.

“Ha-ha!” he chuckled lightly.

"Exactly".

It's the perfect alibi. The copy stepped into the Gate after Si Hong, Gaia, and Grace. And he dissolved into the Gate.
