Chapter 40 - 40 - Peaceful View

Unlike this morning's episode, it was way peaceful at the school.

Hikaru was in the middle of a project when he heard the lunch bell ring. He went and grabbed his books and left the classroom.

When he saw that no one followed him, he went straight to his favourite spot. It was the tree by the pond which less people come by and was peaceful.

Hikaru approached the spot that he usually sat down at. But all of a sudden he saw that another person occupied it. He had blond hair and green eyes, but they where completely focused on the view of the lake.

"What are you looking at?" Hikaru spoke.

It completely scared Daisuke who was absorbed at the lakes view and surprised he yelled.

"AHH! What are you doing!? Don't you know coming up behind a person can scare them?!" Daisuke thought he saw a ghost when he saw the dark black hair and dark midnight eyes.

"I didn't know you were a scary cat, and also this is my spot can you please find another one." Hikaru accepted his fault but he could couldn't get over the fact that the scream almost scared him.

"First come, first serve. Either join me or leave me be. It's a peaceful view and I want to read, so decide." Daisuke and Hikaru where particular children. The way they act and speak is completely different from the way they act at home.

Hikaru was stunned by Daisuke response. No one dared to talk to him like that but this cheeky brat had the audacity to do that!

"Look here this is my spot-" Hikaru was rudely interrupted by Daisuke who was surprised by the comic book.

"What the heck? How come this happens to Detective Izumi?!" Daisuke was surprised by the story that he also forgot about Hikaru.

Hikaru was also shocked by the outburst of Daisuke but he didn't forget what he said.

"Ehh?! What happened to him?! Did he get hurt or did he finally solved another mystery?!" But at this moment all he wanted to know was the story.

"No, it was something different, look..." the boys completely forgot the argument and started reading the book.
