Pokemon The Force

When the sun begins to rise up, so does the clock. When the alarm sound off, Soul was about to throw it away before remembering that it was his only phone.

When they were finished, he went to call Charmander as the others went to train on their own.

Looking at the confused and curious golden Charmander, Soul smiled, indicating that it wasn't in trouble.

Soul: Charmander, I have decided that you would be the first Pokemon in my team to fight against the first gym leader, Brock.

It would be a tough battle for you since Brock uses rock-type Pokemons, so be careful and don't underestimate your opponent.

It nodded again before it went to train with it claw on a tree. Soul also went to train with levitating himself up, as if the next location of the x marker would require him to fall down again, he would need this life-saving skill of his.

The next location of the x marker would be in Mt. Moon. He hoped that no one has found it yet. Even if they had, it would be impossible for them to open it without knowing how, or if one would be lucky enough to accidentally spilled blood on it.

Brock: Then follow me. You're lucky that you came in time, as I would be going to train my Pokemons tomorrow and wouldn't come back for a few days. By the way, how many badges do you have?

Brock nodded at this, as he got an idea over what Pokemon he should use against this new trainer.

Both of them begin to walk in the Gym with Brock in the lead and Soul behind him Soon enough they came to a Pokemon arena.

There were rock scatter all around the place except for the middle. Maybe he could use it as an advantage to him.

Brock: You can go take your place and wait there. I would go get the judge.

Soul didn't say anything and nodded. Then he went to his position in the arena. A minute later, Brock came in with an old-looking man behind him.

Both of them went to their position as the judge begin to say.

Judge: Here we have the challenger Soul Winterflame from Pallet town against the gym leader of Pewter City, Brock! The rules are simple, you may use up to two Pokemons, if both your opponents Pokemon fainted, you will win. Only the challenger may switch up their Pokemons in the middle of the battle, understand?

Both Soul and Brock nodded at the statement. Thought Soul was a bit surprised at how they did even know his name without him telling them it. He founded it, weird...

Judge: Then bring out your first Pokemon and lets the battle begins!

Brock: Go Geodude!

Soul: Charmander you up.

Both of them throw their Pokeballs in the mid-air as two Pokemons came out of it. They each lock on each other eyes and waited for their trainer commands.

Brock: Geodude uses Tackle!

Geodude did what Brock said and rushed at Soul Charmander. Charmander was still waiting for Soul commands and looks at the giant rock heading its way.

Soul: Wait for it…

As Geodude come closer and closer, Charmander still stood in its ground. Waiting for the command.

When Geodude almost at hit range of Charmander, Soul gave out a command.

Soul: Charmander quick, do a front flip while using Metal Claw.

Finally getting the command, Charmander quickly jumped and fliped its body in the mid-air as both of its claw begin to glow and formed a large claw on both hands.

Brock: Geodude quick dodge it!

But it was too late for Geodude as it was hit by a direct attack of Metal Claw. Sending it to one of the rock pillars.

Geodude fainted…

Judge: Geodude fainted! The winner of this match is Charmander!

Brock was amazed by how his Geodude could be taken care of so easily and didn't expect that this trainer Charmander could use Metal Claw.

He needed to be more careful…

Brock: Geodude return, you did a good job.

Judge: Would the challenger like to switch-off his Pokemon?

Soul: No need.

Brock took a deep breath, as he took out another Pokeball from his belt and thrown it mid-air.

As soon as the Pokeball opened, a giant Pokemon made of rock could be seen. Soul didn't panic a little bit.

He has trust in Charmander's ability and if it would faint in the battle, he would just use Eevee or another Pokemons in his belt.

Brock: Be careful Onix, this opponent is strong.

Onix nodded and fixed its eyes gaze on its opponent, which seemed to be a small fire lizard.

Brock: Onix, use Rock Throw!

Onix gathers a giant rock in front of it and shot it toward Charmander.

Soul: Dodge it and use Smokescreen.

With Charmander high dodging, it dodged the attack covered the entire area with smokes, as it couldn't be seen by Onix nor Brock anymore.

Brock: Onix keeps your guard up.

Soul: Charmander keep using Ancient Power while moving around. 'Also use the rock around you to jump around with.'

It did what Soul said as Charmander went to the outer area of the arena and begins to jump around rocks and rocks while gathering three small rocks of it own and send it toward Onix blindspot.

Suddenly Charmander's body begins to glow brightly as its body became larger and larger. When the giant rock was about to hit it, two giant green claw appeared on both of its hands and cut through the rock as if it was paper.

When the evolution was finished, the little golden Charmander now has become a big Charmeleon. Not only that it has also learned Dragon Claw!

It gave out a loud roar as it eyes locked on Onix. Onix who saw this became stiff for a moment it laid it eyes on Charmeleon.

Soul: 'Arc show stats for Charmeleon.'

Seeing it stats, Soul smiled. Brock has no chance to beat them now unless Soul was careless again.

Brock: 'This battle is going to be much tougher than I thought. Onix is already badly injured.'

Soul: Okay Charmeleon uses Dragon Claw once again and aims for its horn.

Brock who heard this was surprised. It this young trainer already knew Onix weakness, why hasn't he take advantage of it before?

Brock looked defeated, but smiled and walked over to Soul with a badge and gave it to him.

Brock: I must say, your Charmeleon is very strong. You might have the chance to become the next champion of Kanto, 'Little Champion.'

Soul cringed at the last name Brock just called him. Why haven't people forget about it yet!?

He didn't reply and just left the gym.
