Pokemon The Force

After walking out of the Arcade, Soul was making sure nobody was looking at him before sending the giant chocolate bar to his inventory, and continued to explore the cruise.

While he was walking, one of the crew members walked over to him with a paper and a smile.

Crew member: Hello there young man, would you like to join the treasure hunt that would be held today?

Soul: I don't know… but I can take a look into it.

Crew member: Okay, here's a brochure about it, hope to see you there!

Soul waved back as he left and went to find a place to sit on. He found a bench and sat on it before reading the brochure.

-Treasure Hunt-

- Age restriction 8-15 years old

- Take place on floor 3 beside the Jigglypuff Pokepuff store, or in other words JP PP store.

- Meet time at 10 am Tuesday.

Soul: 'I don't really have many things to do, and if I get free stuff, I guess I can accept it.'

He went to throw the brochure on a trashcan before he left and walked around some more.

For the past hours, Soul has gone to different places, where he would take part in some of them.

Nevertheless, he had fun and gained a lot of items he won from doing differents activities and bought.

Soul: 'Now that I think about it, it wouldn't hurt to call everyone back home and tell them about my journey. I just need to cut down some of the stories, though.'

He went to find a phone booth and founded it on floor 2. It was one of many phone booth rooms, where guests could call their families and friends.

Sadly, he had to pay for each minute he used on the phone booth, so he had to make a quick call.

*Ring* *Ring* *Ring*

*Beep*

A screen showed up with Professor Oak, and Soul's dad and mom. They looked happy to see him.

Oak: Ah Soul, long time no see. Gary and Daisy aren't here today, I'm afraid. They're on a vacation to Johto Region right now, so we won't see them for a while.

Soul: I see, how have you all been?

Father/Fred: Lots of work and coffee…

Fred answers with a tired voice as he looked like he could fall at any moment. Soul also could see a cup of coffee on his dad's hand.

Mother: I'll have never been better!

His mom replies to him while holding her arm with her other hand. She seemed more energetic than before.

Mother: How have you been Soul? Is there any reason for you to call us at this time?

Soul: I just wanna give you guys my status about my journey. I would do it ultra-short since it would cost me for talking to your guys each minute passed by. It's like paying for breathing if you get what I mean.

Soul complained as he sighed and the others laughed a bit before stopping and quietly listening to Soul's story.

Oak: Oh? That's mean you're going to come back soon after defeating Blaine then heading to the last gym?

Soul: That's my plan for now.

Mother: I hope you beat those gyms quickly so you can come back home to us again. We're going to celebrate it with food!

Soul: Sound nice, mom.

He said as he scratches his neck awkwardly. After all, there are also other people in here and not only him.

Father/Fred: Well, I'll hope to see you again, champ.

Soul: Yeah, thanks, dad. Farewell, everyone, I'll end the call for now.

Oak, Mother, Father/Fred: Goodbye and have a safe journey!

Soul ended the call as he got tapped by the shoulder from behind. Looking back he saw a young boy.

He looked at him confused and asked.

Soul: Can I help you with something?

Trainer: Yeah, I heard some of your conversations and heard that you're a Pokemon trainer right? How about a battle?

Soul: 'Well, Kadabra is about to evolve, one more battle should do the trick.' Sure.

Trainer: Great! There's a battle area on the highest floor, follow me.

Soul just followed the young trainer as they walked to where the arena is. When they arrived, there were already some people who were still battling against each other with some spectators.

Trainer: Looks like we have to wait till it's our turn. But let's study their battle and learn more! It's always so fascinating on how mysterious those Pokemons are, right, right!?

The trainer's face came closer and closer to Soul, as he pushed him away while saying.

Soul: Calm down and go study the Pokemon fight, but don't rope me in as if we're friends. We've just met, jeez.

The trainer's face turned red from embarrassment as he said.

Matthew: Sorry, Sorry. I'm just excited that's all. My name is Matthew Sunstone, what's your name?

Soul: My name is Soul.

Mattew looked a bit confused by Soul's introduction and asked curiously.

Matthew: No last name?

Soul: Sorry, we're not that close yet.

Matthew's body turned into stone, as his body froze before he went to a corner and draw a circle with his finger.

Soul: 'Weird kid.'

After a while, it was finally their turn to battle against each other. Both Soul and Matthew stood at each side and took our their Pokeball.

Matthew: Hehe, it's our turn to shine. Go Sandshrew!

Soul almost spat his blood out when he heard what Matthew just said. A-A Sandshrew? Well, this isn't going to end well… and by that, it was to Matthew and his Sandshrew.

Soul: 'I kinda feel bad for him.'

Matthew: Hey are you going to send out your Pokemon, or are you going to surrender? It's fine if you do!

Soul: 'No I'm not, I'm going to enjoy this.'

Soul sent out Kadabra as he came out of his Pokeball. Seeing his opponent sent out their Pokemon, Matthew went to attack first.

Matthew: Sandshrew use Dig!

Sandshrew went to use its hands and begins to dig a hole and went down. Soul just looked at Kadabra and nodded.

Soul: 'Be ready to use teleport and counter it with Psybeam.'

Matthew: Go Sandshrew! Let's finish the opponent!

Sandshrew came up from behind Kadabra and was ready to attack him.

Right before it was able to hit Kadabra, he teleported away.

Matthew: Sandshrew, watch out from behind!

Before Sandshrew could look at it back, it was hit by a powerful Psybeam, which sent it away flying and hit the ground.

When the dust and smokes cloud was cleared, everybody could see that Sandshrew has fainted!
