As both of the two parties engaged with each other, Ashley was the first to make the first move against Willy's Pokemons.

Ashley: Ninetales use Dazzling Gleam!

Ninetale covered itself with fairy-energy as it rushed towards Farfetch'd and Lickitung, hitting both of them directly, which sent them back flying.

Willy who saw this became nervous as he quickly tries to finish his dishes before they could destroy it.

Willy: What are you two doing!? Get back up and protect the dishes!

Farfetch'd and Lickitung got back up, as Farfetch'd used Aerial Ace, while Lickitung used Lick.

Both of the attacks were heading towards NInetales, who waited for Ashley's commands. Suddenly a wave of Psybeam headed towards Lickitung and hit it, which made it change its tongue direction and came to hit Farfetch'd instead.

Ashley: Let's end this with Inferno!

Suddenly the surrounding became hotter as a giant ball of flame were formed on Ninetales mouth.

Ashley: This is the end!

Ninetales send out the giant flame ball against Willy's Pokemons and hit them directly, and created a huge explosion.

When the explosion occurred, some of the dishes made by Willy fell down as he covers himself with some of the last dishes that survived.

Mr. Mime used Psychic and created a barrier around Ashley's kitchen, which protected the unfinished dishes from the incoming black smoke and dust.

When the dust was cleared, both of Willy's Pokemon fainted on the spot as the crowd became dead silent.

Then they all started to cheer again while calling for her names. Willy who saw this almost dropped his last unfinished dishes.

Ashley gave him a wink and waved her hand.

Ashley: I'll let you go for now, but remember if you try anything else again, it might end up worse.

She said as she returned to cook her foods. Luckily none of her foods was burnt nor had any problem since Mr. Mime made sure to keep an eye on them.

Soul: 'She and Ninetales have become this strong, huh? I wonder how strong Opal has become.'

He thought as he looked over at Opal, who looked unfazed but had sparkles in her eyes. Soul was also amazed by how Ashley and her Pokemons worked with each other.

When the timer rang, the battle was done as both of the parties stopped on what they were doing.

Commentator: All right, folks! This is the moment you all have been waiting for! The first chef to serve the first dish would be Ashley!

Ashley along with her Pokemons calmly walked over to where the judges were. Feeling their gaze, she became a bit nervous but she gave off a confident smile and served the dishes.

When the dish was revealed, the aroma of the food suddenly blows with the wind, as the judges, Willy, Soul, and Opal along with some other spectators who were close to the arena could smell it.

Ashley: My dish today would be an omelet. I hope all of you enjoy it.

Taking out a spoon, they all went to try and test Ashley omelet softness. They smiled and nodding with approval before slicing off a part of it and put it in their mouths.

When the piece of omelet came into their mouth, their taste sense exploded as they all m.o.a.n over how tasteful the food was.

They each took a bite again and again until they were no more. Seeing this Ashley smiled, while Willy became even more nervous.

Judge 1: Delicious! Absolute delicious!

Judge 2: I agree, the softness and taste of your omelet is amazing. It could almost compare to a pro chef omelet.

Judge 3: You definitely have my vote, young chef.

Ashley: Thank you all very much!

She said as she 90 degrees bowed to them before taking the plates and returned to her post.

Commentator: Amazing! The judge seemed to have already decide the winner! Can Willy and his dish beat Ashley?

Willy walked toward them with a confident smile, but inside he was nervous. Serving them his dishes, he opened each of them as a small aroma could be smell.

Willy: I have made scrambled eggs. I hope that you enjoy it.

The judge didn't say anything and took a fork and put it in their mouth. They smiled, as Willy also smiled when he saw them did it.

Judge 1: It's a pretty good scrambled egg, you have balance both the softness of the egg and crispy meat quite well.

Judge 2: Yes, even though the dish could have use more season, it's pretty good.

Judge 3: A fairy well-made dish, good job young man.

Willy: Thank you very much!

He said that as he took the unfinished eating meals back. As he returned back to his post, he looked at Ashley who was petting Ninetales with a c.o.c.ky smile.

After a while, the commentator starts speaking again, which made the crowds shut up.

Commentator: Ok, Ok, here's the results of the final! The winner of this match is…

Both Ashley and Willy held their breaths along with the crowd, as they all waited for one of their names to come up.

Commentator: Ashley from Emblem City!

Ashley almost fainted due to how long she held her breath. But with the support of the Pokemons, she managed to get up again with a happy expression.

On the other side, Willy held an unbelievable face. He didn't want to accept that he lost to a girl! Even though he couldn't accept it, he couldn't do anything about it.

The day ended with Ashley won the whole tournament with Ninetales and Mr. Mime. She got herself a trophy and was interviewed a lot.

Back home Soul and Opal congrats her on the win, as Soul served both of them lunch. Both Ashley and Opal was curious about how good Soul food took a bite.

Soul: So… what do you think? It's my first time cooking for another person besides my Pokemons and parents.

Ashley: I-It's delicious! How on earth can someone make something like this!?

She said while stuffing the food in her mouth along with Opal. Soul who saw this gave them a weird expression.
