Pokemon The Force

The next day Soul got ready for the day after two days of break, his Pokemon have become much stronger.

Arriving at the registering room, Soul got to know, who was his next opponent.

He went and did the usual as he always did here in the tournament, and found out more about his opponent and what Pokemon they're using.

Soul: 'Rex, an Eveelution master. He only use Eveelution Pokemon.'

Finishing his business, Soul left the room and headed to where the battle would be held, which wouldn't be in stadium 1-5.

The battle this time would take place in the main stadium, where there would be biggers crowd and cameras.

Arriving there, Soul took a seat at where his friends sat.

They greeted each other for a while before the first battle began. Soul held his eyes on the battlefield, as he would need to see what his potential future opponent is capable of.

One thing he was surprised by, is that Professor Oak would be one of the commentators from today until final.

After some matches, it was Ashley's turn. She, of course, won with her Ninetales and other Pokemon.

After that, it was Opal turn. She also won the match by defeating her opponent with her quick thinking and strategy.

Two matches later, it was soon Soul turn, so he started to get ready and walked to the entrance.

Before he did that, his friends gave him some encouraging words and wish him luck. He wouldn't admit it, but it was nice to have someone, who supports you.

Waiting in the empty hall, the announcer called for Soul's name as he walked outside to the battlefield.

When he walked out, his new fans begin to call for his name. There were also some who called out for his opponent's name.

Commentator: Yes let's welcome to our two contester, Soul, and Rex! Both of them have displayed the power of their Pokemons and would now fight for a place in top 16! Who do you think would win this match, Professor Oak?

Oak: I'm not too sure myself, but I hope that both of the contesters would do their best, and show us a wonderful show.

Looking at the battlefield, he could see that it was just a plain one. Nothing was special about it.

Judge: The rules are the same as the previous one, you can only use up to three Pokemon. Get your Pokeball ready and call out your Pokemon.

Soul: Go, Alakazam.

Rex: Go, Vaporeon!

Sending out their Pokemon, Soul, and Rex waited for the signal to start the battle.

Judge: Let's the battle start!

Rex: Vaporeon start this show off with Water Pulse.

Vaporeon sent out a ball of water towards Alakazam at a fast pace.

Soul: Use Teleport to dodge it and then Psycho Cut. 'Also use Future Sight.'

Alakazam dodges the attack and sends one of its own against Vaporeon.

Rex: Dodge the attack, then use Quick Attack!

Vaporeon dodged the attack by a second before its whole body glowed, as it quickly runs towards Alakazam.

Soul: Use Teleport then another Psycho Cut.

Alakazam dodged Quick Attack by the right time as Vaporeon missed its target and couldn't stop its movement.

This gave Alakazam a chance as it teleports behind Vapeeron and used Psycho Cut to finish it.

Vaporeon weakest stat was its defense against physical attack, to which Psycho Cut was one, so it took a heavy hit and fainted.

If Vaporeon was on the same level as Alakazam, it would probably be able to take around five more hits.

Unfortunately, it wasn't so it fainted as the judge announced.

Judge: Vaporeon is unable to battle! The winner of this match is Alakazam!

Rex sent Vaporeon back, as he took out another one and called out Jolteon.

As soon as he did that four portals appeared and hit Jolteon by surprise. It managed to dodge one of the blasts but was hit by the other three.

Commentator: Oh my Arceus! What happened!?

Oak: I believe that move was Future Sight, I'm surprised that Alakazam used it without his trainer order. But Sabrina the gym leader of Saffron city can command her Alakazam via. telepathy, so maybe that why.

Commentator: Rex Jolteon looked injured, I wonder if it would affect how it performs in battle?

Rex: Jolteon are you ok?

Jolteon nodded, which made Rex sighed in relief. He then looked over Soul and Alakazam with a serious expression.

Rex: Good now let's show them our power, too! Jolteon use Thunder Shock!

Jolteon sent out a wave of thunder from its body, which Alakazam dodged by teleporting.

Rex: Keep using Thunder Shock, Jolteon!

The more Jolteon used Thunder Shock, the more Alakazam dodged the attack by teleporting around.

Soul: 'Use Light Screen, then Psychic.'

Alakazam stopped using Teleport and formed a cube around it.

When the attack was about to hit Alakazam, it hit the cube instead and didn't affect Alakazam too much with his Special Defense.

Suddenly Alakazam's body begins to glow along with Jolteon, as it was sent upward before it got thrown down.

The process kept happening until Jolteon couldn't take it anymore and fainted.

Judge: Jolteon is unable to battle! The winner of this match goes to Alakazam!

Sending out his last Pokemon, Rex went all out against Soul's Alakazam only to lose as Soul advance to top 16.

The day ended with a nice cold chocolate milk.
