Pokemon The Force

The next day, Soul woke up earlier than usual and prepare breakfast for his Pokemon and himself.

While they were eating, Soul looked at some Tv news, which was all about the League, he currently in.

They talked about the remained contesters and who would win. Some thought it was that guy, some thought it was another guy, some though of Opal or Soul.

Either way, there would be a lot more audience, when he and the other would fight. Hopefully, there wouldn't be as much as Soul thought.

It was a lie…

The audience and peoples here are insane! How could there be so many peoples in one stadium!? Isn't it too cramped for them to be in together? Where's the security?

Many thoughts spin around Soul's head, as he calmed himself down, and took a deep breath before going to the stage with the remaining contesters.

Walking there, more cheering could be heard, as some of the contesters started to become nervous from the pressure.

They were all need to choose a Magikarp again as Soul chose one. He looked at the other contesters and saw that he didn't have to fight against Opal, so there would be a chance to fight her tomorrow!

Opal looked a bit disappointed but shrugged it off, as she and one of the other contester left the battlefield, so there were only him and his opponent left.

Judge: In this match, you may use up to six Pokemon! So this would be a full team battle. You both know the rest of the rules, so bring out your Pokemon!

???: Go, Jynx!

Soul: Noivern it's your time to shine today.

Both of the contesters sent out their Pokemon, as the audience was surprised by seeing another Pokemon Soul have.

That means there only one mysterious Pokemon left to be discovered. Hopefully, they would be able to see it next match if he wins this round.

???: Jynx use Taunt!

Jynx taunted Noivern by smacking its b.u.t.t as if Noivern couldn't reach it. This made Noivern angry because, how dare this weak Pokemon look down on him?

Soul: Noivern keep your cool and use Steel Wing.

Noivern took a deep breath as he calms down. He looked at Jynx as both of his wings became hard.

He then strikes Jynx down at an even fast pace than Charizard! With one hit, Jynx fainted.

Judge: Jynx is unable to battle, the winner of this match is Noivern!

The trainer didn't look unconcern as he took out another Pokeball and throws it.

What came out made Soul surprised as a Dragonite could be seen. It looked strong as it flew up from the ground.

Commentator: Oh? Who would have thought that trainer James to have such a powerful Pokemon?

Oak: Now, Now. Even though Dragonite is one of the strongest Pokemon here in Kanto, doesn't it mean it would be more powerful than Noivern. After all, it all depends on how you trained them.

Commentator: Oh right, sorry. But this fight would certainly be interesting don't you agree?

Oak: That, I can agree on.

James: Dragonite use Thunder Punch!

Dragonite hands generated electric-energy, as it flew towards Noivern at a high pace.

Soul: Noivern dodge the attack and use Dragon Rush.

Noivern dodged the attack smoothly as it used Dragon Rush close to Dragonite. As it couldn't dodge the attack, it tried to grab Noivern but was too slow and got hit to the ground.

After the dust was cleared, Dragonite got up again and looked more pumped than before.

James: Hang in there, Dragonite! Use Dragon Tail.

Soul: Noivern use Double Team.

Dragonite tail became green with scale as it flew up to the sky again. It was about to reach Noivern before a ton of copy of it spawned.

It didn't know which opponent is real and which is not, so it attacked randomly and hope to get a hit on the real one.

Soul: Noivern use Boomburst.

All the fake Noivern left as the real one could be seen on top of Dragonite. It sent out a powerful sonic-wave from its ears and hit Dragonite hard.

Soul thought it was the end of it, but he was wrong as Dragonite stood up again with the injuries it got from the two previous attacks.

When it got up, it suddenly fainted as it fell down to the ground.

Judge: Dragonite is unable to battle! The winner of this match is once again Noivern!

James: I want to surrender.

Soul: Huh?

Audience: Eh?

The statement made everyone in shock. Why would he give up right now?

James: I knew from the start that I couldn't win against you and your Pokemon, but I wanted to test my limit. I'm satisfied with the result and that's why I surrender now.

Soul nodded at this statement as he advances to the next round. The audience and everyone else also respected James' choice.

Soul stayed behind after his battle with James was over, as he watched over Opal and the other trainer battle.

He was once again surprised by the result as Opal lost the battle, he was a bit disappointed, so was she.

Opal: Sorry that we can't fight against each other in the final round, Soul.

Soul: It's fine, you can always come and challenge me at Pallet Town anytime until I'm out on another journey again.

Opal: Un.

Soul: That regard to you too, Ashley.

Ashley: All right! I will come and fight you when I have time.

Matthew: Hey, Hey. What about me?

Soul: You too weak.

Matthew felt like several invisible arrows just hit him all over his body. He stomped on the ground as he pointed at Soul angrily.

Matthew: T-Then I will become stronger! Just you wait!

Soul: You sure about that?

Matthew: Of course I'm sure about that!

After that comment, Soul started to chuckle along with the others too, as they broke into laughter.

Hearing them laughs at him, Matthew's face became red from embarrassment.

Matthew: S-Stop laughing at me! Come here!

And then Matthew started chasing after Soul, Ashley, and Opal as they kept laughing while running away from the red Matthew.
