Pokemon The Force

Chapter 83 - 59: Challenging the Elite-Four

The next day Soul woke up after having a weird dream of being reincarnated again. He looked around the familiar room as he let out a loud yawn, waking up both Anubis and Mew.

They both woke up as they started to stretch out their bodies. Soul knew that his journey in Kanto wasn't finished yet until he becomes a champion, so he went to call the league and told them that he would like to challenge the elite-four members.

The league was surprised by his sudden call as news spread out to all of the Kanto and some other regions.

Peoples were excited as they would have a chance to see a new champion arise, even some of the other regions were excited about it, too.

Even though all of the regions were competing against each other on who was better than the other. Kanto had no champions for a long time now, and the other regions thought they were not that strong without a champion.

Now with the challenge, it made them both excited and nervous, hopefully, the potential new champion won't be stronger than theirs.

When the ticket was on sale, all of the tickets were sold out by a mere minute, since peoples from Kanto and other regions wouldn't definitely miss this chance!

Soul was training his Pokemon harder than before as he knew fighting against elite-four members would be harder than the Indigo League.

He knew not all of his Pokemon wouldn't be able to battle against them, but hopefully, there wouldn't only be a one versus one battle, where you could only use one Pokemon. If you lose one Pokemon, you lose the challenge, that was the rule of some of the elite-four members.

A week passed by as Soul said goodbye to his family and friends as he rode on Noivern, who looked at the forest before it flew towards the Indigo Plateau Conference.

After a few hours of flying, Soul finally reached a familiar place again as he saw several reporters and peoples staying outside of the gate, waiting for the gate to open, which would be opened tomorrow.

Soul: 'Damn, this is like Black Friday back on the old day. I wonder if there is one here in Kanto?'

He thought as they landed on the Victory Road, where he was greeted by some workers, who showed him, where he would stay at.

It was a luxurious hut, its location was further away than the rest of the other huts. Soul couldn't blame them as the hut looked like it was a summer house for rich peoples.

Inside, it was interior with enough space that could fit most of his Pokemon, it also had a small pool outside, where Soul took Lapras out. It had enough space for Lapras to move around, so Soul was satisfied.

He looked around some more as he felt someone was tapping behind his head, he turned around as there were no one, another tap at his back head again. This time, he didn't turn forward as he was about to be tapped again only for him to quickly look forward and saw Mew, who was surprised, then started giggling.

Soul: Mew, you know that you can't go outside without being invisible, when I get strong enough, I let you come out as much as you want. But for now, stay hidden ok? I don't want any trouble to stir up because of you.

Mew grumped but did what Soul said and turned itself back to invisible. Soul sighed as he started cooking lunch for his Pokemon, Mew, and Shadow could only eat inside, as to make sure they wouldn't be caught by other humans.

Sylveon accompanied it as she and Mew have grown closer and became good friends with each other. She also has become somewhat friend with Shadow.

The day went by normally as Soul gave a rest to his Pokemon so that they would be fresh enough for the upcoming battle tomorrow against Lorelei, who specialized in ice-type Pokemon.

Before they went to bed, Soul watched TV along with Mew and Anubis, who was still awake and wasn't tired at all.

News Reporter: Hello, I'm currently standing outside of the Victory Road, where the winner of the latest Indigo League, Soul Winterflame would challenge the elite-four members.

As all of you have probably known, Soul had shown to be an incredible trainer, who has won the league without any of his Pokemon fainted. The outcome of the battle at the final was something not many would have expected, even though the audience expected Soul to reveal his last Pokemon, they didn't expect it to be so strong and unique.

Hopefully, we would be able to see more of this strange Pokemon, Soul himself called 'Anubis,' that was all, for now, tomorrow we would be broadcasting Soul first battle against Lorelei, goodbye.

After the news was over, Soul turned off the TV as he went to brush his teeth before he went to sleep with Mew and Anubis.

On the other place…

Inside a room, four peoples could be seen, discussing about the new challenger that would battle them this week.

This was, of course, all of the elite-four members. Lorelei, Bruno, and Agatha were asking Lance about Soul since they had met with each other before.

Lance: Well, I don't know much about him other than he is a very capable and powerful trainer before he was 10. His character, however, has changed a lot since I last met him. Last time he was pretty cold and indifferent, but now, even though he's somewhat the same as before, he had expressed more emotion than before.

Lorelei: How is that supposed to answer our question?

Lance: I have already spilled everything I knew about him. Especially you, Lorelei, you would be the first to battle against him tomorrow, be careful.

Lorelei: Don't worry, I have already chosen what kind of battle, we would battle against each other for tomorrow.

Lance: That's good to hear. All right this meeting is now done, everyone dismissed.
