Pokemon The Force

The next day Soul woke up and felt someone or something was on top of him. Opening his eyes, Soul could see a pink-cat Pokemon on top of him, sleeping peacefully.

He tapped on its nose as its face begins to move before it went back to sleep again. Another tap, this time Mew slowly wake up with a small yawn as it looked at Soul with a happy expression.

He made a toast with jam for himself as he ate it quietly with his Pokemon. The kitchen was filled with the aroma of burned bread, which smells really good in Soul's option.

When they all were finished with their breakfast, Soul went to train alongside with his Pokemon as they all got ready for the third challenge.

Looking at the time, Soul quickly returned all of his Pokemon to their respective Pokeballs and left the hut.

He managed to arrive at the stadium without any of the audience to see him. He got ready in the waiting room as he waited for the signal.

When the signal was given, Soul walked out from the waiting room and to the battlefield once again.

Arriving there, he saw an old grey-haired woman, standing at the opposite of where his position with a wooden stick. He could feel something was under it.

Agatha: I must congrats you for having come this far, but this will be your final destination.

Soul: Thanks, but I won't give up yet after coming this far. Also, is the Pokemon of your choice inside that stick shadow?

Hearing, Agatha was surprised. She then smirks as the whole battlefield became cold as if something has taken the heat away from the surrounding.

Two pairs of red eyes could be seen from the shadow under the stick as it made a creepy laugh. It then slowly floating up, revealing a Pokemon.

It was a Gengar!

Commentator: W-Wow, that appearance made me felt chill in the spine. Nevertheless to say seems like Agatha already chose her first Pokemon, which is her ace!

Judge: In this battle, you can only use one Pokemon to battle with! The first side Pokemon faint will lose!

Commentator: Oh my! It seems like Agatha won't make it easy for Soul here. She seemed to gamble in one battle, how exciting! Which Pokemon would Soul choose this time?

Soul: Seems like I have to use you earlier than expected, Anubis, I choose you.

Another Pokemon came out from the shadow, this time, everyone felt chill from it. Even Agatha and Gengar could feel the aura around it.

Commentator: Oh my god! Soul has chosen his ace and strongest Pokemon to battle against Agatha! This will be an amazing battle that could end up in history!

Judge: Are both parties ready?

All of them nodded, including their Pokemon as both of them looked at each other with seriousness.

Judge: Then lets the battle begin!

Agatha: Gengar use Shadow Ball.

Gengar sent out several balls of shadow at Anubis.

Soul: Anubis dodge the attack and use Sword Dance.

Anubis easily dodged the attack by using his footwork to dodge the attack. Four swords then appeared around him as it spins around Anubis. When it was finished, Anubis' body glowed orange as his attack stats got raised by two stages.

Agatha: Move under the ground and use Shadow Claw when needed.

Gengar's body disappeared from the ground as Anubis held his guard up. Soul also became cautious as he didn't want to make any mistakes.

When Gengar appeared behind Anubis, it left-hand engulf in ghost-energy as it formed a claw and was about to strike Anubis, who didn't move.

Agatha was a bit suspicious by their action, but before she could do anything Shadow Claw was suddenly stopped by Anubis, who held on Gengar left-hand, leaving Gengar surprised by his sudden action.

Agatha: 'What happened? I didn't manage to see his movement at all!'

Commentator: Oh my god! What an unexpected event! When Gengar was about to hit Anubis with Shadow Claw, it was then suddenly stopped by Anubis! I didn't even manage to react to it sudden action!

The audience was also in shock. How could a Pokemon move so fast? Was it because of its genes or… the trainer's fault? All of them looked at Soul in shock as they all have one question in their mind. 'Who was he exactly?'

While the audience was in shock, Anubis's left-eye could be seen glowing as Gengar instinct told it to get away from its opponent.

Soul: Use Thunder Punch.

Anubis left-hand begins to gather electric-energy as he made a 180 degree turns and hit Gengar in the face.

Agatha snapped out from her thought as she looked at Gengar, who was sent flying.

Agatha: Gengar! Can you stand up?

Gengar could be seen floating as it managed to block Thunder Punch with one of its right-hand. When it came in contact with the attack, Gengar could feel that its power was grown weaker as its opponent became stronger.

It disappeared and returned to Agatha as Anubis returned to his normal stance.

Soul: Use Dark Pulse.

Agatha: Counter it with your own Dark Pulse.

Both of the Pokemon sent a concentration dark-type energy against each other as a clash was made when both of the moves collide.

It seemed first that both of the attacks were even, but Anubis Dark pulse suddenly starting to push against Gengar's.

Agatha: What? It can't be!

Soul: But it is, Anubis use 'it'

Suddenly the aura around Anubis begins to change as a dark-purple aura surrounding it. This gave both everyone in the stadium and those who watched it, chill.

Gengar attack suddenly got nullified as it was hit by a powerful Dark Pulse, which was super effective against it.

Gengar has fainted!

Nobody said anything… there were silent as they were still in shock of what just happened. The judge was the first to break out of it after Agatha as he composed himself.

Judge: Gengar has fainted! The victory goes to Soul and Anubis!

Agatha returned Gengar to its Pokeball as she looked at Soul and Anubis with a curious expression. She then left the battlefield without getting a handshake by Soul.

Soul also started walking back as Anubis returned to Soul shadow. He left the battlefield as one by one, the audience was out of their shock.

They all were bewildered by his display of power against the strongest known Gengar in the Kanto Region. His Pokemon didn't even manage to get a scratch! And what with that insane reaction and movement!

Many thoughts were inside their minds as Soul fanbase became bigger and bigger.
