Austin and the rest of the people who passed were gathered by there first teacher Maxwell. Next to Maxwell was Ginnette looks like she also managed to pass.

Once again, congratulations on passing your Ordeals. As of right now you both are officially E-rank Pokemon trainers." He sat at one of the computer stations as he spoke. "You three already got your trainers card. Ginnette congrats on passing as well. This years group has potential." He then proceeded to had the printed card to Ginnette.

"Now their is a couple things I need to let you guys know. First is that your Pokemon, trainer cards and arm badges must be with you at all times. The armbadges are to show everyone that you are a Pokemon trainer. This is mostly to keep the civilians happy. The like to know when they are in the presence of any of us. That way they can quickly and quietly leave the area," he said sourly. "As if at any moment, we will just release our Pokemon and order them to maul them to death."

No matter which City State trainers are seen as a plague rather than heroes. This annoys a majority of trainers. It also makes the league helpless as they have no way to make the citizens accept these monsters. After reminiscing he continued.

"The trainer cards are your primary form of identification. It lets others know what trainer rank you belong to and allows you to take on missions of the appropriate ranks. It also doubles as a debit card. When you complete a mission you must go to the mission office in the central district to receive your pay. The money you get from the successful mission is deposited directly into your trainer account. The trainer card is the only way to gain access to that money. If you lose the card you will have to come to the Center to have a new one issued. A fee will be taken out of your account to cover the cost of the replacement card."

"Of course," he continued, "At your current rank you are not eligible to take on any missions. You will have to be promoted to D-rank first. I suggest you work hard the next few days to tame your new Pokemon. When you think that you are ready for the next rank, just head to the Gym and request a D-rank promotion exam. The gym leader will test you and your Pokemon to see if you have what it takes to start taking missions. If he doesn't think you are ready then you can always retake the exam after you give your Pokemon a bit more training. Any questions?" he asked us. Everyone shook there heads.

"Then you should get some rest. Tomorrow You will have to begin trying to tame your new Pokemon. I hope to see your group as full fledged trainers," he said. Just before he left the room he stopped to turn to us. "Before I forget," he said. "Do any of you guys have any unused pokeballs left over from your Ordeals?"

"None," Hugo said.

Jacob said he had one. Ginnette also has one. Phillip said he has none either. Austin said he has two left but one was reserved for his togepi. He was scared that if this guy would take backs their pokeballs.

Understanding that Austin misunderstood him, Maxwell added, "That pokeball now belongs to you. Tomorrow morning you should go to the Pokemart and have them register the ball to your trainer account. That way, once you have your Pokemon trained up a bit, you will be able to go out and catch another Pokemon without having to purchase another ball."

Maxwell laughed at the group's sigh of relief and added, "The backpacks and the items inside them now belong to you guys as well. Think of them as a gift from the league to welcome you all into the ranks of Pokemon trainers."

Austin understood that if he needed money he would need to go do missions. Although his family left him money in the form of jewelry, he can't just pull that out and say I found this. They might think he stole it. His time as a trainer was short and it was obvious he lived in an orphanage in district 9. That's the worst residential district.

Austin decided to wait till he his B rank before he take one of those missions that go outside the city. Especially those that want something delivered to another city. That way he can by luck say he sold a Pokemon he caught on the way to a super rich dude. With his B rank status he could say he found jewels in one of the ruins of a village or city.

Austin was thinking of only training Eevee for a week this give him plenty of time to power her up. This will also give him enough time to observe eevee practicing hidden power. He can try to practice this move himself. He doesn't care about attacking but if he can nurture this power to defend himself better it will be great.

As he was contemplating his plan he overheard the rest talk about the Pokemon they caught. Ginnette caught a hoppip, Hugo caught a zubat. Jacob caught a poochyena and Phillip he already new caught a meowth. Apparently Philip was also the first to return from the Ordeal.

He decided to go to the training ground to have a picnic with his Pokemon. He decided to do that because togepi seem like it was about to thro a fit. As he was gonna leave he heard them ask about the Pokemon he caught. He told them he got togepi and eevee. Then he continued walking out ignoring everyone. They were already use to his behavior of it speaking more than he has to.

Philip ran after him and thanked him for saying his life. Austin just told him not to worry about it. Humans should look after each other.

He made it to a smaller training ground away from all the buildings. It seemed quite secluded. He released eevee and placed togepi in the ground and pulled out the dried fruits and other rations. He also brought out milk for all three of them. Togepi although annoyed that it wasn't carried ignored that due to hunger and began to drink milk. Eevee preferred the fruits while Austin enjoyed his meal.

Today is a break day before Austin's training begins.
