Pokemon: Trainer’s Log In A Chaotic World

A week passed since Austin became a C-rank trainer. Austin trained Sylveon so it can control its new found power. It really became a heavy hitter. Austin even had it fight against onix. It almost beat onix due to its high attack but onix's defenses were very high. Both his special and physical defense were nearing three hundred. So it managed to tire Sylveon out before taking it down with a Slam.

Austin gave Sylveon a new training regimen and wants to teach it hyper beam. Austin's Combusken began to train harder as well. His togetic was also put to train harder, but he never forced it (like the rest) and instead showered it with love. It would train with the others and sometimes stops on its own. Togetic is a Pokemon that grows with affection and happiness. It's training will definitely be different than the others.

Noibat's training was going well and it mastered many sound based moves. Austin was satisfied with his team and felt ready for a C-rank mission. He went to the computer room and saw different missions. Most of the C-ranks was capture missions issued by big businesses. Austin checked them out and picked two to complete at the same time. He picked a capture wormpoles/caterpies mission. They use them to get there silk(string shot).

The second mission he picked was catching foongus which looked like mushrooms. They are poisonous and managed to survive well after the Cataclysm. The people who put up this mission were a Resaturant chain. The Foongus is a d.e.s.i.r.ed dish by the rich in the City-State.

Austin gather his Pokemon and recalled them into their pokeballs. Then he went and bought some potions, poison heal, paralysis heal, and some dried rations. Austin proceeded to the forest in the western gate where an abundant amount of Foongus and bug types are present. After signing his name with the guard stationed at the gate, Austin left to complete his mission. He was given a total of 30 pokeballs.

The mission goal to be considered complete for both missions were 6 Pokemon for a reward of $250. So the Foongus he needed 6 and the caterpie also 6. Each extra Pokemon caught was worth $50. Austin used common sense to find Foongus as they were mushroom types. He also had Sylveon memorize the sent of the first Foongus.

After a few hours Austin finished catching the 15th Foongus. He mainly used Noibat and Combusken for the battle. The problem with Foongus was the constant release of poison gas which poisoned his Pokemon. It's a good thing he had antidotes. His Pokemon also managed to learn different ways to deal with the gas. Combusken used ember and flame wheel to burn the gas. Noibat would use gust and sonic boom to blow the gas away.

Foongus was not a strong Pokemon and it was very easy for his Pokemon to take them down. Austin only managed to catch one caterpie and did not find another weak string shot Pokemon. The workers that work with this type of Pokemon are not trainers so weedle and most bug types won't do. Austin was looking around slowly and managed to find a Scatterbug. He had togetic battle the scatterbug and it managed to make it faint with an ancient power.

Austin caught it and continued his way. Suddenly he was wrapped in a string shot. He was alert this whole time and didn't know what attacked him. Combusken cut the silk with its claws and Sylveon attacked with hidden power towards a tree. A clump of leaves attacked to a twisted wood dropped from the tree, which was destroyed by the attack. Austin went to check what it was.

Surprisingly it was a burmy. Burmy are practically one of the weakest bug types. They are very good at hiding. Burmy usually aren't strong enough to even fight a caterpie. Austin caught it since it knew string shot. Austin went deeper into the forest avoiding the beedrill hives. He came across a wormpole and some caterpie and caught them. He had a total of 10 including the burmy. He wanted to fill the last five pokeballs. He looked at the sky and saw he had three hours till dark.

Austin moved forward wanting to finish everything today. Suddenly Sylveon and Noibat blocked an attack that was sent his way. It was a thundershock. Austin saw a small group of Pokemon confront him. They were....
