After the immense battle we had , I make a honest word telling my friends that I was totally got frustrated during the certain moment of that match . I commend Charm fir being a great opponent , even it was a friendly battle it was a mind blowing intense match .

Day is over and I'm here lying on my bed still remembering what happen awhile ago . I really can't believe that I was been overpowered by a woman and she controlled that match . I can't believe in myself that in that moment my strategies weren't working I loose my determination and my confidence . Am I ready to be a Pokemon Trainer ? Am I strong enough ? or Am I too weak ? These questions went on my mind .

I am still very disappointed with my performance , What if I conquer another Trainer like the Strategic minded I am ? I had to prove myself that I had to improve myself in handling pressure and not to get frustrated . I'm really doubtful if I can really do it but I'll do everything that would help me in getting stronger .

Third day of the contest , Hiennrich moved on to the Quarterfinals after defeating Cyndra , Blaine's Granddaughter . Gregory also moved on to quaters when he won against Flannery . We are in the last stage of the match where if we win this we advances to the Quarterfinals and if not we'll go home defeated.

Announcer calls our name ..

" Our first pair ! Bj of Noxlas Lake Town and Charm of Celadon City !"

We went out to our dug out and wave to the crowd , I felt little bit nervous but it won't affect a lot this time . I'm kinda had brought my fighting spirit and confidence .

" Their opponents were both from Cripple Town Grundy and Hunter ! "

The crowd noise even more louder as they introduce our opponent . They said that they we're former champions of this contest . The match referee discuss all the rules and now started the match .

" What are you using today ? " I asked her .

" Its Smoochum ". she answered .

" Okay , I'll be partnering Smoochum to my Torchic ."

" Good luck to both of us " she said and smiled.

" Okay Charm ".

" Another weaklings partner !! " Hunter said evil looking on us .

" You're right , Another addition to the losing side .!" Grundy added .

I became furious when they said that and I replied on them.

" Never underestimate us !" I said and wink on them .

" I will punish both of your pokemon ! " Hunter said .

" I won't let that happen !" Charm replied.

BATTLE BEGIN !!

" Come on out Smoochum !! " Charm called out her pokemon.

" Let's go Torchic ! " I summon mine .

" Really ?? Are you serious with this ?? " Grundy asked .

" This is a waste battle " Hunter added.

" Come out now Golem !!"

Golem is a bipedal tortoise-like Pokémon with plated, green rocks as its shell. Golem grows bigger by shedding its skin once a year. The discarded shell immediately hardens when exposed to air, crumbling away and returning to the soil. Golem has a head protruding out of the center of the shell, short arms that have three claws, and two legs with five-clawed feet that have four claws in front and one in back. It has red eyes and a flat snout with two pointed teeth in its lower jaw.

" You too Seviper !! " Hunter shown his pokemon.

Seviper is a serpentine Pokémon that is usually depicted scrunched up like an accordion. It is mostly black, but has several markings on its body. It has yellow hexagon markings that run from its head to its tail, small yellow bumps where it touches the ground, and various purple scar-like marks. It has elongated red fangs that protrude from its upper jaw and fierce red eyes. Its tail is partially red and has a blade-like shape. Seviper sharpens its tail on rocks, and can use it for its former signature move, Poison Tail.

Seviper wraps around its opponents to make them unable to move. Its tail and fangs are venomous, and are used for striking and poisoning prey or enemies. It has been bitter enemies with Zangoose for many generations. It lives in grassy areas.

" Seviper use smog !" Hunter commanded his pokemon.

That gas hides them and we can't see where is the exact location of Seviper and Golem .

" Golem Roll out !"

A team up move is perfectly executed , Golem went out in a rolling motion that hit Torchic and Smoochum . The spectators roar as they saw a magnificent skill.

" Be careful Charm ."

" Seviper use poisong sting " .

" What ?!! Dodge it Torchic ! "

Chicc ..chicc..

" Smoochum freeze the sting !"

Smoooochuuuummmm...

" Nice work Smoochum ".

" Oppps ... Wrong move !" Hunter said .

" Seviper use wrap ! "

Seviiipppeeerrrr..

What a incredible move again !! said by the announcer .

" Oh no ! Smoochum ! " .

" Torchic help Smoochum ! use double slash !"

" Golem use Rock smash !"

" Torchic dodge !! "

Seviper still punishing Smoochum the force exerted is getting tighter and tighter . I can't help it because every time I attempt it , Golem will stop me .

" Charm I had an idea ! "

" What is it ?"

" Command Smoochum to use Draining kiss a close hit and I'll do the rest ."

" Smoochum ! Do you hear me ??"

Smoooochuuuummmm ..

" Find its face then use Draining kiss ! "

Smoooochuuuummmm ...

Seviper is now confused and it releases Smoochum , I ordered Torchic to attack Seviper using Fire spin ! And that combination of attack seems effective .

" Yes !! " I said and breath comfortably.

" Still don't help it ! It won't work that to us !"

" Golem Rockslide !"

Goollleeeemmm ...

Torchic dodge while using quick attack and Smoochum dodges and use Fairy dance .

" Seviper use poison tail !"

As Torchic hit Golem , Seviper Launches its Poison tail to block the attack and counter it . Torchic fell down on the ground and now poisoned .

" Torchic ! No !!! "

" Hahahahahahaha .. easy kill !" Hunter said .

" Smoochum protect Torchic , Use Ice shard ! "

Ice shard hit Golem that made it unable to move its feet were froze no the ground . Seviper launches again to use Poison fang but Smoochum uses ice beam that froze Seviper's mouth .

" Great work charm !"

" Hurry up ! Bj call Torchic ."

" Torchic !!! Are you still up ?! scream if you are ! "

I scream lot of times and still Torchic don't answered .

" Remember that we promise that we will be the best . You said that You will bring me to the world stage someday !"

" Torchic !!!! '"

That last call may get Torchic attention it answered now but in a silent voice .

" I am counting on you now !! No matter what happens "

Golem remove the Ice and charges to attack Smoochum and succeeded . It help Seviper to remove the ice and now their attention is on Smoochum .

" Bj ? Hurry ! ." Charm said .

A angry pokemons is now on move to brought down Charm's pokemon .

Chicc.. chicc..

Torchic stood up and a burning flame rise to it .

" Nice Torchic !! Torchic ! "

Blaze is activated to Torchic once it encounter a immense battle just like this and all special effects will be instantly remove.

And a bright light shown up on Torchic and I mesmerized with that , I felt very joyous as it evolve to Combusken .

" That's just a Combusken ! Hahahaha " Hunter said .

" Nothing will change, We are still dominating !" Grundy added.

"No matter what happens even we lose I will fight to the end ! I scream loudly .

" That's the spirit ! " Charm said .

" Combusken Use Flamethrower !"

Commmbuuussskenn...

" Golem protect Seviper !" Grundy commanded His.

Goooollleemmm..

" Smoochum use Ice Beam directly to Golem !" Charm said.

Smooocccchuuuummm..

" Nice Charm ! " I praised her.

" Now Combusken Use Fire spin ! "

Commmbuuussskenn !!

Golem suffer double damage and unable to stay in the battle and it is now fainted . We took our attention to Seviper .

" Seviper use Poison tail !"

" Charm froze the tail and I'll do the rest ."

" Okay ! , Smoochum use Ice beam ! "

Luckily Seviper's tail was froze and Combusken capitalize and use Flamethrower that directly hit Seviper , because of the effect of blaze the fire it emitted is more powerful that made Seviper fainted .

" Yes !! " I scream out loud triumphantly .

" We did it !! " Charm Gladly said .

I'm so very happy that I even hug Charm so tight she answer back with a tight hug too . Our adversary are still mad about us , They are not accepting that they lost on us so we went unto them and cheer them up.

" Our winner , and will go to the Quarter Finals! Team of Bj and Charm !" The announcer said .

" It was a good game " Charm said .

" Thank you for that exciting game , you were both exhibited good skills ." I said .

" We do our part but you stood to the last , Congratulations to the both of you ". Hunter congratulate us .

" huhuhuhu ... This is not the end !!! " Grundy cries out of his frustration .

I cheer him up and motivated him not to give up in being a trainer .

" Maybe your not lucky this time ." I cheered him.

" Ye , Grund . Let's do our best next time " Hunter added.

Hiennrich , Gregory and Joe went to us and congratulates us in winning the match . I called out Combusken and I thank it because of its performance it done was very impressive . I wish it could take us to the finals and soon lift the Trophy .
