Days went by like it was nothing, it took 4 days for SNOW to convince the substitute queen of AMODEUS that the DRAGON QUEEN was of no threat and was currently under his care. Though they felt  reluctant but snow knew it wouldnt be that easy as he made sure he was ready for any conspicuous act.

And the days continue to grow, from days to weeks, to months and eventually years. Two years fled by like it was nothing serious, aside from the regular spawning of monsters which usually doesnt take any much time before subjugation, SNOW had found it easy using his sealed powers even though he had been hiding a secret from everyone.

Ever since SNOW arrival, the people of AMODEUS had totally left the subjugation of monster entirely to SNOW and his team, they never helped SNOW as they felt they shouldn't that it was their problem to deal with while they just believe they were observing.

2 years and six month became the actual date after arrival, SNOW and his team had grown spontaneously in power and in physical appearance. SNOW had added a little bit of height which would make anyone believe he was 18 years of age, RIN and LIN became taller and would usually mistake them for kids the age of 12, other grew either in size or had their figure refined in a good way.

It was a cloudless night, with the moons visibly in sight along other looking star like twinkling in the sky, It was midnight with YONA checking up on SNOW as usual, upon her arrival to SNOW'S bed she found that SNOW was fidgeting on the bed, his sweat could barely be absorbed and converted to mana as they had soaked the bed wet.

Feeling distress she hastily walked to him to see what was happening to him only for her to suddenly fall hard with her b.u.t.t to the floor as she felt scared for some reason after her sudden touch with SNOW.

Apparently she had felt SNOWS anger towards himself for not being able to protect LUCAS as he kept repeating LUCAS death in his dreams

Her hands quiver as she tried regaining her steps only to realize snow had awakened and staring at her.

He was sweating and he was aware of it, he had awakened from the shock he felt from having been touched by YONA.

'Oh, forgive me, i had no intention of waking thy highness'

She said while feeling nervous and walking few steps backwards before taking a short bow

'For a priestess dont you feel it bad to walk into a males room dressed like that'

SNOW said and smirk while staring at her, she was on her night gown which was as light and transparent as anything could be.

'How so?'

'Well right now your dressing is provocative and could easily spark the urge to have you...'

SNOW word had been interrupted by the sudden noise made by door that sounded like a knock. He smiled at YONA as his chance to bully her had came to an end

'It is me'

SNOW had heard the voice and had knew who it was

'Come in ESMIL'

He stared at YONA while shaking his head a little as if saying you were saved by the knock, the door which had opened and closed had alerted the approach of ESMIL who had walked towards SNOW.

'It is as you predicted big bro, the council are up to no good'

'I see, so what is it that you find'

SNOW asked while being seated, with YONA standing at the side while having ESMIL check her out with weird glaring.

'They are experimenting with DARK MAGIC, and base on what i overheard they are ready to begin their first experimental test tonight'

'DARK MAGIC, huh?'

SNOW felt unmotivated as he knew the use of dark magic in this realm would be like adding fuel to a burning flame.

'But that is absurd, thy council would never do that?'

'Why do you say so?'

SNOW asked trying to find answers

'If an AMODEUS citizen gets infected with DARK MAGIC, it can never be undone, in short it will corrupt the entire entity of such person'

'I see, so its like a virus that destroys it host when infected'

SNOW said as if understanding what YONA was saying, he understood very well what happened to people he had encountered, their rage, their mind, felt like they were brainwashed or somewhat under the influence of a drug.

'Thou do not get it, anyone who gets infected begins to consume mana and since AMODEUS is abundant in it, they will not seize to consume mana till they die.'

YONA spoke with worries clouding her expression

'In the past we dealt with it by making any demon that invades a top priority whike annihilate them before they make contact with AMODEUS soil not the less it citizen'

She spoke in addition and walked forward to meet ESMIL

'Art thou sure about what thou just said?'

'Of course, i came here because i needed to make big brother know of the situation at hand'

ESMIL replied to her worries, staring at her with weird expression she then tend to SNOW who had felt relax a bit.

'Well, i guess i should better let the queen handle it'

'If you say so, i shall...'

Her words suddenly got interrupted by the heavy consecutive knock made in haste by the door which came open with force with IRIS and BLADE by the door panting heavily.

'Brother! RIN and LIN are missing!!'

BLADE said with loud voice in a state of anxiety as his expression were priceless making snow jump off the bed he had seated on.

'What do you mean by they are missing?'

SNOW said while frowning his brows, he didnt want to think about it but he already knew who were behind their disappearance.

'We were taking a walk on the street along the road not far from the palace when we lost track of them, as we speak MICHAEL is still in search of them'

IRIS tried to explained everything all at ones but her breathe almost gave up on her as she collapse to her feet, staring at IRIS SNOW couldn't b.a.r.e to watch but to take actions.

'I guess its time i challenge the queen of her incompetence leadership'

SNOW said while walking away feeling somewhat furious.

5 figure had stood in a dark room illuminated with light hidden deep within the pool with a pavement at it center which had RIN and LIN lay unconsciously upon it. They had wore red cloak which was more royal like than the others with gold patterns used as it design colour base l.

In front of this 5 figure stood 8 others which where having their identity concealed in a white cloak that covered down to their base. Each had a transparent vial with a dark liquid substance as it content.

'proceed'

A Female voice could be heard among the 5 red human figure hidden within their red cloak. Happy laugh consist of male and female could be heard from the 5 figure as if having being successful.

The 8 figures in white cloak had walked few inches closer to the pool before squarting and letting out the content in the vial into the pool which instantly change the pool colour into black in seconds while leaving the surroundings in total darkness for brief moment.

As if a backup Generator was turned on the ceiling illuminated pure white light revealing the black pool that oozed out black aura.

The pool instantly erupted up to the ceiling while retaining it form like a gel, one of the figure in white cloak who had seen this sight had become frightened and had lost composure, his voice echoed the entire room from his sudden scream and at the same time attaining the attention of the dark gel that had stood like a pillar.

As if been detonated to crumble, the so called liquid which became a gel like figure had soon began to vaporize, as it crumbled inti gaseous form And at thr same instant possessing the figure which had gotten frighten of it while making it look as if he was inhaling the gas forcefully.

His figure began to transform, he gained more muscular physique and his figure wasnt something to be described as a human anymore. Being an AMODEUS species made his transformation more devine like but in a creepy way. His eyes glowed red and had horns at the center of his forehead. His white wings had gone dark making it look similar to that of a bat or a s.u.c.c.u.b.u.s, twin tails sprout right behind him as he grew taller in height, his clothe tore leaving him in a state of n.a.k.e.dness which was instantly replaced by a dark gothic like material that changed into trousers which had a cape like material  floating behind him which was attacked to his trouser.

His body had out grown a normal state and one would think of him as a humanoid monster, standing in a state of confusion with oozing smoky Aura he stood and stared around as if analysing his current situation.

Although the figures in red cloak werent appeased by the change of plans but they appreciated the result as they stood to witness the action of this newly born creature before they would decided to control it and use it against the child of prophecy.

Though they believed this was their plan but in reality they are one of those under the influence of YGGDRASIL who just happened to get lucky to have a better specimen.

The monster who had stood and not understanding what was going on had decided to walk away but because those present couldnt b.a.r.e to see his face and began to launch magical attacks at him.

Feeling furious the monster lash at them while ignoring RIN and LIN who were still unconscious on top of the pavement of the now so empty pool.

Killing them one after the other his path soon dyed red with the blood of those present, his teeth werent so different from a beast as he wielded fangs that drooled with saliva every now and then as if thirty for blood.

The room which was making sure he never set foot outside and made sure he wouldnt consume mana could be barely recognized as it walls and floor had been deprived of it beauty and cleanliness.

As if RIN and LIN were never there he never for ones paid attention to them even though he had hopped over it few times while killing off the figures in white.

Those in red cloak were happy by his brute strength and force and was gloriously happy while they intended to control it with a crown in plain red colour with black diamonds like gem attached to it.

One of the 5 in red cloak had walked forward with the crown upon a hand that could be think of as feminine with each finger as slim and tender as a female hand could be.

Making her stop the crown hover above her hand and went towards the DEMONS head as if been ordered to. Sitting upon his head the demon had gotten a bit confused as he stare at the 5 figure especially that which was the furthest from the rest.

Tweaking his neck a little like a bunny staring before dashing on the run he stood and stare, those in red cloak had felt greater p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e at their success only to be disappointed by the sudden movement that flicked in a blink of an eye.

The eruption of blood that looked like a burst pipe could be seen from her neck that had suddenly lost it head, with a frightened reaction the room reverberated with two more feminine voice as their figure in cloaked had lost their balance from quivering legs.

Although the males were scared but their action were like that of a frozen statue as they quiver in fear and await their turn.

Minutes before the DEMONIZED AMODEUS went on a killing spree.

SNOW had badged into the throne room with everyone behind him, FYRE, BLADE, ESMIL, YONA, MICHAEL, IRIS had dressed as if being prepared for some sort of fight.

The AMODEUS ELITE WARRIOR'S had line up in a singular defence manner with their weapon drawn with few of the council member missing.

'Who hadt given thou permission to set thy foot into the throne chamber?'

'Huh?'

SNOW reaction was of a bit of confusion and amazement as to the sudden stupid question that had been uttered by the queen who is merely a substitute.

Raising a brow on his face he felt like, has some knot been loosed in this ladys head? He questioned himself with a smile that came after as if not taking her serious.

'Oh please tell me you hadnt no slight idea that two of my family members had been missing, or rather abducted?'

SNOW said before making a stop in front of the ELITE WARRIOR'S while the rest had stood few inches away.

'That shouldn't be of my concern, does it?, besides isnt it of a good thing to know that the number of people needed to be fed has been diminished?'

Her nonchalant and carefree attitude had spiked a tiny bit of snows anger as he tried to calm his anger as possible as it can get.

'What have thou done, HENRIETTA!'

YONA voice echoed a bit as she had spoken with worries, She knew if it was something bad things might go out of hand.

'Nothing priestess YONA, i only granted the permission of an experiment suggested by the council leaders'

She said with no lies attached, although AMODEUS are said to be pure down to their very core, they have not the slightest trait of being dishonest neither do they have such a thing as lies in their vocabularies.

AMODEUS as species doesnt have such things as bad and evil but they are quick at picking up knowledge and adapt to things new to them in seconds.

SNOW upon hearing her had gone furious, his black hair slowly erected while dancing in waves before it colour changed to that of gold, his unleashed aura had pushed the ELITE WARRIOR'S in disarray as they shiver after managing to stand back to their feet.

'Say, did you just say you, offered LIN and RIN as experiment?'

SNOW voice echoed with anger filling up each words that sent shiver down HENRIETTA spines, as if not feeling comfortable she hastily stood up while gesturing as if to apprehend SNOW.

the ELITE WARRIORS which were 15 in numbers when counted had surrounded snow the instant they received their order through gesturing.

'Should harm fall upon LIN and RIN i shall make sure you all pay dearly '

SNOW said and smiled, but his aura kept gushing out every second in a rhythm like a heart beat, shaking off the ELITE WARRIORS who were frightened but had to deliver.

They all dashed at SNOW with their various weapons pointed against snow while having their team leader take the leader as she charged her sword hoping to slay SNOW.

tapping his feet twice SNOW sent out waves like a sonar receiver seeking signals and at the same time vanishing leaving behind traces of  his after images.

As if time had paused for the elite warrior their motion had been halted giving snow the time to do whatever he wanted.

Although this powers still felt new to him but he felt it would be nice to get used to it since he had intended to pass his power down to RIN and his sister down to LIN.

Dashing at the team captain snow launch consecutive punches at her while moving on to the next one and flipping him over and laughing a kick at him, snow movement had become faster as he dashed at every one of them dealing countless strikes   before the eyes could react.

Walking up the stairs had felt as if the time had been resumed with the elite warriors either knocked out or sent flying to the far distant like projectile been set on a timer.

His feet made tempo sound which sounded like a drop of water on top a still water as he approached the frozen QUEEN who could do nothing but stand to stare at the enrage snow walking up the stairs majestically as if taking his time.

Each of his ankle had golden ring hover around them, his present was intimidating as the queen faltered to her kneels with tears in her eyes.

SNOW who had stood at the final base of the staircase where the throne was has glared at her but felt it wasnt time for him to judge her yet.

The loud noise of an explosion could be heard next as the center of the chamber had a burrowed hole which was revealed after the smoke of explosion had cleared away from the scene.

Standing at the top of the stairs snow had turned to stare at YONA and the rest.

'i dont know if it is late, but could you four go in there?'

SNOW said while staring at BLADE, IRIS, ESMIL AND MICHAEL as if asking for a favour.

'What would you have us do brother?'

MICHAEL asked while waiting for decisive instructions from snow.

'ESMIL and BLADE, I want you to apprehend anyone you see alive'

'IRIS, i want you to secure RIN and LIN safety as they lay unconscious at the lowest floor while having Michael will lure whatever monster is down there up here'

He said with a little bit of sadness clouding his words and expression, iris and the rest had dove right into the hole with the motif to save RIN and LIN just as badly as snow want them both to be saved.

YONA AND HENRIETTA who had stared at snow had questioned their thoughts as to SNOWS power. Staring at him alone sent cold sweat down HENRIETTA cheek as she knew the aura SNOW was emitting was that of a pure blood AMODEUS even if he was half human.

"T-Thou is the King"

She muttered as she had know idea her thoughts had been spoken out unconsciously but luckily for her SNOW had paid no attention to her.

SNOW took few steps backwards and sat upon the throne while leaning backwards and leaning his cheek on his right hand folded like a fist as if awaiting for someone which actually he was.

As if being waiting for SNOW to seat upon the throne a crown had appeared above his head with royal garment instantly replacing what he had wore.

Everything felt like it was programmed but snow cared not about any of that as he just sat in wait for MICHAEL and everyone to arrival.

It took just 5 minutes for MICHAEL to lure the DEMON out to the open right in the center of the chamber. It appearance along sent everyone dashing here and there in intense fright for a while.

SNOW who just sat and saw the humanoid demon felt sad, he knew this creature was ones an AMODEUS and perhaps had a family, but he needed to make sure his death wasnt painful but swift.

'Big bro!!'

MICHAEL yelled, notifying SNOW of his appearance with the monster and in response the monster was instantly contained in a golden circular barrier.

'Thank you brother'

SNOW thanked MICHAEL but MICHAEL felt astonished by snows new change of appearance as he was looking more majestic and royalty than anyone in the room.

MICHAEL became even more speechless by the boundless abilities snow wielded while staring at the contained monster he could barely make a dent on at his time with it at the lowest floor.

'HENRIETTA? Do you know of his family?'

SNOW asked HENRIETTA without looking at her while she was still lost in all of this moment as her consciousness was revived by SNOWS sudden question

'Not at all, your highness'

'I see, maybe i should question those behind this scheme '

He replied her without caring whatsoever what was going to happen next. He waited few more minute for IRIS, BLADE AND ESMIL to arrive before he could proceed.

In that short moment as if his patience has paid off they had arrived, RIN and LIN were still unconscious while two of the council leaders who were caught were brought forward for questioning.

BLADE AND ESMIL had tender them both forward while constraining their hands before taking few steps backwards away from them and still stare at the monster in awe.

'Thank you very much you guys'

SNOW appreciated with a smile towards his siblings who werent related by blood.

'YONA? could you please escort everyone to their chambers while i see to this matter?'

He said while staring at YONA before staring at the the rest of the council members, elite warriors and HENRIETTA.

'As thy wish your highness'

She responded and was soon followed by FYRE, IRIS AND OTHERS out of the throne chamber

And just like that minutes went by with just HENRIETTA, SNOW, 6 COUNCIL MEMBER AND 15 ELITE WARRIORS barely in good shape, and the Humanoid DEMON sharing in silence.

A snap echoed the room made by two fingers with the middle and thumb fingers snapping one another as if to ignite a fire could be heard and in that instant the council members were placed in a barrier as well which was similar to that of the monster he had captured.

'HENRIETTA, i would like to speak with the family of who ever this monster was made out from in the morning, that aside i would also like to speak with everyone at noon'

'As thou wishes, your highness'

HENRIETTA responded without a glitch of haste before bowing her head.

'And as for you guys, go take a proper rest and present yourself to me by morning'

He spoke to the ELITE WARRIORS before sighing, he was tired and needed a rest but he needed to make sure thing were set in the right order

'Please would you mind escorting them out'

SNOW smiled at HENRIETTA as she bowed before excusing herself and walking the ELITE WARRIORS out of the chamber.

SNOW had just sat down while embracing the melody of the gigantic door closing at the distant end before his eyes went close for a brief nap.

And just as everyone spent their night in their chamber, SNOW spent his in the throne room while making sure the council and the DEMON were properly contained even though he fell asleep.
