Porter X

A cloudy day as usual with thunderous explosion heard distance away as each shockwave shook the kingdom to its core. VERA had took it upon herself to be at the frontline and slay any monsters that came knocking with no leftover for the SINS.

It had been almost a month since she had started this rebellion of hers as she was soon given the nickname GOLDENFLASH for her speed in battle exceeds anyone else, she soon began to look down on everyone else but still respected those needed to be respected. Her occasional visit to SNOW room had finally made her understand her purpose and as well happy that it just 2 years left for her king to awaken.

As the fierce fight went on so came a sudden announcement that blew the mind of everyone, the announcement was about the experiment that was to be conducted, a small price to pay should it go well in other to conceive an heir to the throne.

An experiment where by snow s.e.m.e.n would be inserted into AURORA uterus without the legal formalities as they believe this was the right choice to make since no one knows how long it will take for SNOW to awaken.

Feeling disgusted by the sudden News, VERA flare up with anger that made her mana boil, it boiled and exploded to the extent of corroding it surroundings leaving no monster alive from such an explosion that even melted away the dungeon entrance.

Not waiting for the rest of the SINS she flew off from the snowy mountains down to the palace in haste as if to beat everyone up at her arrival.

It wasnt long that she had arrived and slammed the throne room door open which broke at the force she had applied leaving everyone one present in sudden shock and fighting stance aside from AURORA and RIVET with other high ranking members.

'What do you think you are doing Vera?'

Rivet asked feeling confused by her actions

'I should be asking you that question'

VERA had walked forward and stood by the stairs leading upward the throne with no such thing as a smile but a stern look.

'You heard the announcement, that means your opinion isnt needed, afterall you are rankless and just here on SNOWS recommendation'

RIVET had said knowing fully well as of that moment she was the highest ranking person if the king wasnt around.

Other SINS who had rushed in to the scene became speechless and had been prepared should there be an order to put VERA down if necessary.

'I will say this the last time, what do you think you are doing, AURORA?'

'I am sorry, but this was the only ch...'

Not letting her finish a wave of light slashed the surroundings and soon everything that had been cut by the light crumbled, and luckily for Aurora the SINS had gone to protect her.

'Are you out of your senses VERA!! Do you intend to kill the QUEEN'

The male among the SINS asked with anger although his body quiver from fear but being a hot headed character he just didnt notice it.

Like a movie on pause mode everything and everyone had stood still, VERA  had just stump her toes twice to the floor and the SINS went flying as if been hit with projectile that sent them to the distance clearing a path for her.

'I answer to no one but my King'

She said and just as she made the first step upward the stairs, various species of knight appeared out of nowhere and were sent flying as they came without VERA moving her hand.

'VERA please stop, there is nothing that we can do, i have already undergone the procedures'

'That isnt my concern, but the question is...'

VERA who had been walking up the stairs in anger had finally stood at the top while she just stare at AURORA and RIVET.

'You gave up on my king, did you not?'

VERA question had sent million jolts of electricity down her spine as she was shocked, remembering the past few month she soon realized she had actually given up on snow even though it was the opposite during her own period. Realizing her mistakes made tears flow down her face unconsciously.

'If only...if only you could be patient for at least a years'

'I...I didn't mean it that way, VERA please understand '

VERA spoke feeling disappointed at everyone, she felt it was high time she took a step forward while she turned her back on AURORA and RIVET not caring of what would be said to her.

She stood and just glowed in pure gold light and in that short instant her attire had been changed, she had a royalty armour of which had covered her c.h.e.s.t and her right hand, armour at her waist and one leg armour at her left as her hair flowed in gold with a cape like garment floating royally behind her.

'I, VERA LIMETA, ascend to her rightful place as the KINGS RIGHT HAND...'

Upon the word king right hand everyone became speechless and few had doubted her.

'That is a lie isnt it?'

KIRIN who had managed to stand back from the attacked she had received had walked forward with the rest of the sins who had bruises, cuts and tattered cloth as they stare at VERA.

'No...i...can assure...she is...right hand...child of prophecy'

FYRE who had appeared in a projection form had disagreed and claim VERA wasnt lying

'If that is so, what rank is she?'

'MYTHIC'

FYRE had announced which left everyone dumbfounded and those who understood bowed their head in an instant.

'I shall be taking over from here onward and for my first assignment'

VERA had just stood and stare down at the SINS

'step forward KIRIN'

Upon her words KIRIN had walked forward with no intention to disobey.

'I am assigning you to investigate the CITY OF ROSE, your mission is to investigate the situation in the city, and make sure you dont run into anyone from the kings GUILD PORTER X'

'Why so sudden? Who will defend the kingdom?'

'That shouldn't be your concern, you have two years from now to gather the necessary information and make sure you arent found out by YGGDRASIL ORGANIZATION during your investigation'

VERA said and felt like she had remembered something

'Oh and lastly, you must send your report weekly, failure to do so will mean you have either been killed or perhaps being captured, so becareful'

'As you wish, LLARIANAOLA'

KIRIN had spoken her name without even havent been introduced yet which made VERA Surprised

'Dont be surprised, as long as your rank exceeds everyone, it would be natural for others to call you by your dubbed name'

RIVET said while trying to ease VERA mind.

'That reminds me, have there been any letters for the past few month from PORTER X?'

'Now that you mention, there has been just one and it came in yesterday'

VERA felt something wasnt right, she knew for the letter to come in this late then things arent going much as planned at PORTER X.

'Fetch if for me, i need to see it content...'

'As you wish'

RIVET left leaving behind everyone as her footstep echoed at her exit.

'ELFINA, your mission is to investigate the CITY OF REDNAR, make contact with those you feel will be a great asset and let them know the king will be will to aid them in two years time'

VERA who was speaking to the girl with a small hat on her head while being drowsy simply woke from her sleep.

'What if question arrises of the KING being ill?'

'That is up to you to make up an excuse. As of this moment, no one outside of the kingdom must know ORLEANS IS WITHOUT A KING'

'Very well'

The elf girl had simply bowed and walked away while feeling sleeping as she walked.

'DRAGSIL, you are to go to WINQUINCE CITY and investigate the situation there, meet up with various guild leaders and secure a position for the king in the city'

'Does that mean i get to do things my way?'

'If that includes killing, then only if it is necessary and i can only approve of it if they defies the king wishes'

The girl with horns on her forehead had simply asked with a mischievous smile as she felt it was time to kill even more

'Then count me in'

She said and walked away with a grinding on her face as she was delighted to venture outside of the kingdom.

BILAL who was the male and SHIZUKU who was the female in kimono had just stood and waited for their turn.

'BILAL you are to come with me, there is a separate mission for you and as for you SHIZUKU, i will like you to visit SIGNIL CITY, like the others you are to keep in touch weekly while you investigate and make sure everyone you make contact with are in support to the KING'

She said and in that instant RIVET had returned with a piece of paper in her right hand and didnt relax without handling over the paper to her.

'Thank you'

She said before receiving the paper, she opened it and stare at the content, as she had expected PORTER X was lacking behind, and while she was done the paper vanished into thin hair as she walked down the stairs.

'BILAL, there has been a change of plans, i was hoping you would make contact with the top 2 global ranking guild but i will have you keep an eye on PORTER X, your mission is to assist them in anyway possible without being notice by them'

She said as she made a stop at the floor, placing a hand on her chin in thought she stare at BILAL.

'You are free to kill anyone you feel are a threat if that means having to expose your identity for a brief moment'

She said and walked away.

'I will find someone else to make contact with the top 2 global ranking guild, for now you all are dismissed '

'Wait!'

AURORA called to her attention before she walked far, VERA who had halted to stare back at AURORA felt unpleased, she needed to distant herself from her as she felt irritated by her present .

'Send MABEL, LOMAN MABEL, she is a trust worthy member and is still a member of the WHITE TIGER GUILD'

'I will think about it'

VERA cold response made AURORA feel sad as she walked away from her with no second thoughts, she soon realise she really had lost the one card she thought she had, she felt sad and heartbroken and disgusted at how she had little faith and trust in SNOW who was in coma.

As if being given order by a king, the throne chamber was instantly deserted with just AURORA and RIVET left behind.

'I never knew my kid Cousin had this monster for a right hand, well i guess she pretty well did handle everything without being a SIN, and she somewhat always remind me of that lil demon he has for a sister'

'She...normal girl...in the past, SNOW loves....sister'

'I honestly will never understand your sister, ICY'

RIVET spoke to mock FYRE manner of speech as she giggled afterwards

'Mind not my sister, she meant VERA was just a normal girl in the past, and she is being loved by SNOW as his kid sister, which was why he had more interest in her and gambled on her'

'Well, his gamble sure did pay off'

RIVET smiled at the two astral human form staring at each other with a smile as if being happy to be reunited ones again.

'Well with her in command i guess everything will be in order, as for the queen, i wouldnt recommend you feel bad over what she said'

'But she is right, i am not worthy to even be his queen if i cant have faith or believe he would wake up'

The noise of a slap could be heard next as a surprised expression was plastered over her cute pale skin.

She soon realise her mistakes ones more and as if a clear resolution had jogged her memory she let out a teary smile.

'You are worried about SNOW, his sister is also in coma dammit, pull your self together, i cant really babysit a mother you know'

She said and felt displeased

'When you are back to your right senses, i shall be in my quarters awaiting you, until then get that clouded head of yours cleared'

She humphed and walked away without caring anymore.

Staring at the close book was SNOWs eyes, with the little boy filled with smile, both grinning like they both had hit a jackpot, yes the book he has been writing has finally been completed, he was not sure if it was worth it but he felt that happiness within him.

'Congratulations, you have successfully completed the main task and for the final task, you will be offered two choices to pick from'

As they spoke the so called environment they where filling the moment with happiness soon changed and became dawn of night, and day of light of which, WHITE was standing as the bridge between them both.

'This is your final test, SNOW'

The boy said and stepped backwards with the book in his care.

'If my sister is my final test, what says the condition?'

'Find out yourself '

He replied him and smiled and just as he was about to question the kid he was attacked by WHITE with two crimson daggers almost at the lenght of a short sword but with a curvy shape that had a huge impact at every strike made with it.

Unleashing consecutive strikes all at ones made SNOW feel weak as he was being drained of his blood and magical energy and as well MANA as he was with nothing to defend himself, leaving his real body in bad shape.

SNOW knew very well what weapon was used against him but he felt hopeless as he tried every possible way to dodge his sister attacks but remain futile, he knew the only choice was to use his powers, but he wouldnt dare use them on his kid sister he loved and cherished the most in the world.

As if giving up his final test he soon understood the two choices but it was far to late for him has he was laying over his own pool of white liquid element in form of blood in this sense.

Outside of his inner dimension where his real body laid already had severe cuts all over his body as the room ones filled with MANA became almost empty with it while being absorb distance away by WHITE who was being kept in a liquid glass tube for healing.

RIVET who saw the gush of MANA being absorbed by WHITE felt chills down her spine as she worried more about SNOW while she instantly rush to check on him, meanwhile VERA who arrived on time after her usual routine had arrived for her usual visit had sealed off the entrance with a gigantic barrier restricting anyone from trespassing.

She knew this process very well as she was told stories about people that went past this phase as an AMADEUS.

Even though this was her first to experience it, she was sure to know what to do as she had prepared for such an incident to happen in the future which currently was now.

SNOW who had been bouncing on the bed like someone possess with seizure was instantly held by VERA, crying her eyes out knowing fully well he was undergoing his reawakening test made her scared as she had been told of various AMADEUS in the past who died during their reawakening test, she feared same fate could befall upon him as she tried to encourage him.

'My king, my king i know you can hear me, do you remember me?'

She said as she laid her half body on snow as if trying to listen to his heart beat.

Meanwhile deep down SNOWS inner dimension his deemed vision had soon regained its light, his so called body had been engulf in light while he regained his strength, his injuries healed and his mana were fully restored.

Trying to understand what was happening he could instantly hear a tiny voice trying to breakthrough to him.

'V...vera?'

He asked and question himself, feeling surprised he could instantly remember all the conversation told to him like an everyday story by VERA during his time writing the so called book.

He smiled and felt happy, he knew he wasnt alone anymore and to be honest he now realised he was never alone to begin with.

'The final test requires an AMADEUS to kill someone they treasure, i am sure you know who that is, but the truth is the test isnt final, i hope you figure it out before it is too late but i am not allowed to say more so all i can do right now is to keep you alive even if it means SUBSTITUTION'

She said and with cheerful smile on SNOWS bright face he tilted his head and stare at WHITE, and he knew even if that was the truth he couldnt bring himself to kill her but instead he would accept her the way she is even if it means her becoming a SIN. So he thought.

Dashing with force towards SNOW, white was instantly hugged and kissed by the lips leaving her shocked and surprised with eyes widened as if to pop out if let be.

Not letting  go of her SNOW finally  stare at her brilliant white hair while at the same time wiping away her sudden tears with his fingers, holding her very close to himself he felt sober for some reasons.

'Sorry sis, i wasnt there when you needed me the most'

He said and felt bittersweet at the same time

'It is fine, glad you passed the test'

She said and gave him a punch at his belly that made him finally let go of her, as he was left groaning in pain.

'Congratulations to you two, i guess the previous queen was right to entrust you two with the future'

The kid said and walked forward, smiling at WHITE he soon bowed at her before finally walking up to snow with the book in his arms.

The book shattered like a glass and reformed itself like a crown, it size was equivalent to a ring perfectly fitting for the littlest finger.

And as if wanting to make fun of it his little was instantly attached to it as it had wore itself on snows little finger while giving SNOW a second thought at how majestic it looked on his finger.

His kid sister instantly hugged him at his success and got patted on the head by SNOW who was happy to see her alive.

The so called mixed scenery instantly turned white leaving the three of them standing in the midst of white surroundings with no objects nor liquids.

'I wish you two the best, and lastly, i shall abide by the promise i made with your mother'

He said and in that instant they both vanished leaving just the kid behind with a satisfying cute smile upon his face.
