Porter X

It was heavy, the cries of the sky poured ceaselessly, the rain that felt like it could flood the city came down like a raging beast, a group of people surrounded Naomi who had now been laying unconsciously on the floor in an alley, her phone had sent an emergency call to snow as she was now laying on her own pool of blood that the rain felt impossible to wash away.

This so gathering came to an end as the criminals with their guild logo was the only information left behind as to whom were responsible for the incident.

On this faithful day and just as promised, snow and white had cleared the SS-RANK DUNGEON after a long hour of waiting for Naomi arrival as scheduled but she wasn't present so the two went in themself, on their way out snow had received an sos call from Naomi and in that instant he had appeared beside her and instantly vanished as well.

Few minutes later she was now in the surgery room being operated on, white who had undergone the process of the association rushed towards his brother who was sitting and waiting for news on Naomi Condition with a glowing ball in her hands which only the two of them knew what it was.

After hugging each other the doctors came out and announced that she could survive but might lack the abilities to function as a proper hunter if that ever happens.

Snow now in rage could do nothing but bite his lips and gnash his teeth, his sister could barely withstand the news as she went down to her kneels.

About few hours later the siblings were allowed to visit her in the clinic room assigned to her.

They both stood in front of her and after a short moment of silence, light glowed past them in form of a human shape.

'I see, well if truly she is the one you want to pass that to, then first you have to let her die'

They both felt their heart sinking in between their c.h.e.s.t, they knew very well what was requested of them, a sacrifice was necessary.

Even though Naomi was dying they knew they had to save her and they believe she would be saved.

'Hey sis, please can you leave us alone?'

Snow said and without refusing and knowing what was about to happen she did excused them after handling the glowing ball to snow, seconds later the noise of her leaving was soon conveyed by the doors as it closes.

White still boiling in rage sat quietly on the guest seat in the hallway, she knew the A.S.SOCIATION was behind everything and all they needed was to storm the building if allowed by her brother.

An hour later snow had came out without the glowing ball, white who had been silently waiting soon stood up and joined his brother who had began to walk the hallway exit

Like a thunder strike they both appeared in front of the association of hunter welfare building and in response to their unannounced entrance higher rank hunters who had been task to stop them charged at them.

Like mosquitoes dying from insecticides the hunters were killed in seconds while snow and white walked up the stairs like they werent interested, people who had seen this yelled and ran, even the Rankers used as security where no match for them and before there were more bloodshed snow and white had soon disappeared from their sight like they were never there and in that instant a gothic mixture of white and black shadows appeared in the president room.

Vale and Michelle trying to approach snow and white where forced to stand still, cold sweat fell their chin as their gaze were now fixed on the countless white darts now pointing at them, with snow now approaching the president with a black sword in his hand in an incredible speed they all close their eyes for the possible worst outcome.

snow had intentionally avoided stabing the president as he made sure the blade never harmed her but unfortunately it only made a cut on her cheek.

'Tell me why I shouldn't kill you and everyone in this building'

Snow said with pure anger, his sense are now heightened, his glaring was deadly and gave no room for lies

'Well you have made it clear you were willing to make the A.S.SOCIATION and everyone your enemy so there is no need to lie now that i am certain you aren't bluffing '

The president calmly said and from her cut blood flowed down slowly down her chin

'And killing me will disrupt the balance of this city which is why before you do anything rational  i should probably let you know'

Ignoring the blade on her cheek she smiled

'The A.S.SOCIATION OF HUNTER WELFARE has nothing to do with what happened to NAOMI LENIATH'

She now stood staring at snow with cold sweat forming behind her ears, snow seeing her actions soon retracted his black sword and placed it close to her neck

'Besides, it also came as a shock knowing you cleared the the last SS-Rank dungeon and having Naomi in such a scene'

'If it isnt you or the organization then who dare to harm her!'

Snow had questioned the second time since he wasnt really interested in petty discussion

'We cant release that information '

Michelle spoke forgetting her position and as a reminder a white dart instantly launched at her among the rest of the hovering dart point at her.

The noise of the dart hitting the distant wall brought Michelle back to her sense as it had only gaze her neck leaving behind a cut mark with signs of blood flowing down slowly.

'Fine!! it was the ZANZA GUILD'

The president had said in exchange for her workers to be spared.

'I believe they didn't like the fact of being betrayed by Naomi'

'What do you mean?'

Snow had asked and he wasnt fixated on the president yet he was very angry.

'Someone from the A.S.SOCIATION had secretly leaked the information regarding the renown S-Rank hunter as at the time she came to collect her license and was to partake in a new raid by a team called porter x'

The president said and soon snow had stopped pointing the blade at her.

'We successfully apprehended the culprits but we failed to stop the information from getting to the ZANZA guild'

Snow walked away and left her standing

'The ZANZA GUILD is the top two guild in the city, you possibly can't lunch an attack there!'

The president said.

'I am not the one to make that decision, and thank your star she hadn't died today Miss President Liliana'

Like a gust of wind blowing in and out, the two siblings had vanished from sight, feeling like a crisis had pass over them they gave a sigh of relief and breath continuously to ensure they were still alive.

The president had soon sat down in disarray, her hands shivered as she stared at it, she knew she had never felt like this in a life time other than her first time in a dungeon.

It has been two days since the incident and Naomi is yet to open her eyes, snow who still was in rage decided to vent his anger on something so he took it upon the rest of the s-rank dungeon, on the other hand white had decided to make sure she never leaves Naomi side.

The so called rain can be found in the southern region of other city but failed to smile upon ROSE CITY today.

It was sunny and calm, and less busy, after all, it is just weekend, everyone must have been in their homes relaxing or doing something else and like an alarm the door had notify the room of someone entrance.

Naomi who was long awake and watching the news was surprise at snows entrance, snow was in bad shape, his eyes lacked sleep and his cloth had been torn here and there.

'Perhaps he had just came after hunting in the dungeon'.

Naomi thought to herself with laughter that filled her face but snow could only smile as he approached them, white who had slept beside Naomi had no idea snow had arrived.

Snow gently played with her hair and kissed her cheek afterwards, after a short sigh of relief he walked to the other side of the bed.

Naomi and snow now hugged tightly like it been years they've seen each other.

'You stink'

She said and giggled, snow hearing her could only respond gently with chuckles, he smiled but his head was drawn closer by Naomi and his lips got locked with hers.

After minutes of what seems like no end affection shared by this two their attention was soon brought back by the news of the terrorist attack that happened two days ago.

'You and your sis sure made a hell of a mess there just for my sake'

Naomi said and stared at the tv but soon face snow

'But they were the wrong people'

Snow hearing her smiled and played with her hair

'And there is a reason you are only hearing the news on the HUNTERS WELFARE A.S.SOCIATION '

Snow said, knowing snows capabilities Naomi smiled

'So what do you intend to do?'

'You tell me'

He responded to her question with a smile after his response with words.

Naomi now fully understanding the full gist could only smile, she new snow and his sister cant take revenge on her family guild so they had to wait for her response.

Snow feeling happy decided to sit on the empty guest chair by the wall and stare at naomi when approaching it

'Snow, could you hear me out?'

She ask, snow now dragging  the chair closer finally sat on it after being so close to the bed

'Yes?, what is it?'

He asked with curious expression on his face

'It wasnt just ZANZA GUILD...'

'Tell me what i dont know, and by the way how are you feeling now'

She said but soon her explanation came to an abrupt end with snow words that brought back light to her eyes

'Am fine, more better than ever'

'Does that mean we should arrange for your discharge papers?'

Snow hastily asked Naomi and she nodded with excitement.

Like he had been waiting for this moment he hastily stood up and existed the room, Naomi could only laugh at his excessive happiness as that moment was interrupted by white now hugging her from the side.

The door closing shut must have woken her up, Naomi thought and smiled

'Look who is awake'

Naomi said and smiled, white also smiled yet didn't let her go.

The A.S.SOCIATION now crowded with press as everyone had began to request on full detail regarding the terror attacks, the president who had calmly sat on her chair as usual could only smile at their naivete.

'Aside from the press any news regarding the porter x team?'

The president asked, her eyes set it gaze to the city scape with a bandage on her cheek. Behind her was Vale and Michelle

'We got words that Naomi Leniath had been discharged yesterday morning and there hadn't been any words of their team booking any raid licence'

Michelle spoke and like the president had knew it she now turned to face this two

'So in the past few days only one of them had been clearing S-Rank dungeons and to boot it all up they all were from the old series of dungeon'

The president said and stared at vale

'So any news on ZANZA guild?'

'Not at all, they have gone cold ever since the incident i am sure they havent heard words that Naomi Leniath is still alive'

The president had now relax her back to the chair more

'Still it doesn't make any sense, why would those two ignore the information i gave them'

'I believe they couldn't do anything to ZANZA guild because the guild originally belongs to LENIATH family'

Vale said while trying to make the president understand

'Now that you mention, i guess that could be the reason'

As if to relax more the chair had almost turn back to the glass wall

'The higher ups want full details about the situation and three of the SS-RANK Hunters isnt letting go as well, they want information on the hunters clearing the old series dungeons'

'I will handle the higher ups and for now just tell the hunters it is the same E-Rank going on a rampage and let their eyes watch out for the news'

After a brief sigh the president setting her gaze to the city one more time felt relaxed like the view of the city gave her a sense of achievement and relaxation

'As you wish'

Michelle and Vale began working to the exit

'Oh that is right, Vale, could you send a gift of apologies to the siblings?'

'As you wish president Liliana'

He responded to her after a brief halt and excused himself before the elevator went shut.

There is a rumor, one that has and lasted for thousands of decades, they say those that were able to clear the first dungeon 500 years ago split their fortune and built cities that represents the world as we know it.

Some say that they are the founder of the Ranking system, some scientists even claim that those born with magical energy within them had the potential to grow and this ranking system mostly doesn't apply to those who change with time.

There where cases where an E-rank could become an S-rank or even SS-rank but only ones in a million time due to it rarity.

So far in this city called Rose, only 5 hunters had been able to attain SS-Rank but in the world? There are about 120 of them in total.

Just as if it was easy to attain S-rank it was now a rare case to have SS-rank for their gab far exceed each other.

Two years ago, two people were announced in the global news to have attain a SSS-RANK Title, although one of them identity wasnt disclosed but the other became the center of the worlds attention.

Rumours has it that they are both male and female and they have been hunting down every dungeons in their city, ever since then they were certain of clearing the entire dungeon in their city in the next couple of month.

But what doesn't make sense is that, there haven't been any information regarding why there would be a dungeon brake in few days time.

Back then, they said before they could clear the first dungeons that there had been countless dungeon brakes in the past before the ranking system.

But if no one knows anything about it does that mean it was safe if he should trample all over the dungeons effort to go on a rampage?

Snow who had been deep in thought walked into the building of his newly owned apartment.

Apparently he had just arrived from soloing few of the S-Rank dungeon after dropping Naomi and White at home from the clinic.

Upon entering the elevator he wondered what Naomi would think of if she realised she had died ones like him and his sister.

He shook the thoughts off, he got frightened from the reality as his lips which had been shut gave a sigh.

He realise he had to tell her or she finds out, that made him impatient after the thought.

Like they were expecting his arrival Naomi and white stared at the opened elevator after it had alerted them both of its arrival, they both had sat on the couch with Naomi still in the clinics clothes

'Are you sure you need to keep fighting on your own?'

White asked

'Not really, after all there is just seven of them left and i was thinking of leaving just six of it to you two to handle'

With surprise reaction on their faces they stared at Snow thinking he was joking but he got a stern face that showed he was serious

'Are you being serious right now?'

White said trying to w.h.i.n.e her way out, snow who knew the nature of her silly sister ignored her whiny and stretched an arm towards Naomi who also accepted the gesture.

'Wait, are you just going to leave me here?'

She asked staring at the to lover birds leaving her behind

'You are free to come join us but, i wont take responsibilities for what you see'

Snow replied her and brought out his tongue, he smiled and they both soon exited the living room.

The room door shut itself and snow made sure it was locked, like being waiting for the right time to propose naomi who had walked towards the bed attention was soon called upon.

'There is something you need to know'

Snow said

Naomi feeling nervous stare at snow in surprise as he had offered her a dagger made of metal and well made for self defense.

'Take it'

Snow said as he walked closer to her, NAOMI was still confused and scared, the thought of bad things happening drain down her mind in split seconds as she reluctantly collected the dagger with cold sweat forming behind her ears.

'What are you doing snow?'

She asked after seeing snow take off his dress, she wondered what was in Snows mind but like a sudden rain the words was now heard

'In exchange to save you, i had to kill you'

His voice quiver like a jelly on a spoon, he approached Naomi slowly and pat her cheek with his had whike having a sad smile on his face, his left eye produce tears like a man trying so hard to prevent himself from crying.

'I cant live my life, knowing i killed you, i feel miserable at the thought of it that is why i have decided that you will be the one to kill me'

Like a lightning waiting for a thunder strike, snows face had instantly gotten a run home delivery that only the noise of a slap echoed the entire room.

Naomi feeling angry now had tossed the dagger somewhere around the room as only the noise of it kissing the floor was made.

Snow still wondering why her sudden burst of aggression soon came to the embrace of warm hugs. He was still dumbfounded about everything as his heart gave way for emotions to take over, this so called attitudes of preventing tears soon got destroyed by the flow of tears flowing down his face.

'I understand better than anyone, so if a day comes when you need to give your life up for some else sake, then remember...'

Naomi now staring at snow while trying to wipe off his tears

'Dont ever be the one to do the taking, always be the one to do the giving'

She smiled afterwards and her lips came to it embraces to that of Snows.

Feeling tired and devastated snow body came to its collapse states, Naomi feeling less surprised now made sure she held him tight and slowly found their way to the bed.

Like a time lapse on a video, two weeks had now passed with no words from the organization, a man of broad statue and black hair stood before the glass wall, he could see the vehicles and people through it moving their way around as they normally would.

Behind him was a blonde hair lady with office cloth and in her hands was a tablet approaching him for her daily reports or rather hourly report.

She is the PA of the guild master known as GRIMMSAW, and in front of her was the guild Master himself, Thomas Vatican, a man born with a silver spoon in his mouth, he is skilled and talented, and people claim that at his first evaluation before he became a hunter he had ranked 2nd among the S-Rank hunters, and due to his family background he had created the guild GRIMMSAW which is now the number ONE ranking guild in the city.

Those who knew him quiver in fear due to his no smiling attitude and lousy voice, others says he is a hunter that hunts hunter, after all, his guild alone consists of 30 S-Rank hunters, 10 A-Rank hunters and less b rank hunters, and others say including him makes it 2 SS-rank hunter in the guild.

Yet this man shows more interest on two E-Rank hunters who happen to be clearing dungeons at an high incredible rate he had never seen.

Like a president waiting for his reports he had stood by the window

'So what has the president of association had to say this time'

He asked in hopes of getting a better answer

'The A.S.SOCIATION are refusing to let out information regarding the hunters in question but they claim that it is the same E-Rank hunters that have been clearing out dungeons from the old series'

Her words weren't proving relevant, Thomas had notice her tones of voice as she made her report

'Sasha?'

'Yes sir?'

'Is there anything you need to tell me?'

'Well the truth is, i have gone through a different route to secure the necessary information and it came to my surprise that, indeed they were E-Rank hunters'

With the news at hand the man had now been excited, like a mice been drawn to a cheese his face had now turn to pay attention to Sasha.

'It says here that they dont belong to a GUILD and they both work in a raid team called Porter X, and according to the report it says that one of them in the Team is an S-Rank hunter known as LENIATH NAOMI, but was recently assassinated by the ZANZA guild'

The man eyes had now been filled with question, he has instantly walk to his chair to take a seat and as he sat down...

'They claim that the 2 E-Rank Hunters were also the ones responsible for the attack on the A.S.SOCIATION BUILDING after the death of a raid member'

The man who had now fully seated smiled in amazement and satisfaction

'But sir, i dont think it is possible for an E-Rank Hunter to do anything incredible if not i'd just say they are receiving help from someone '

'Leave that aside, so tell me, what was their name again?'

The man wanting to meet this two could no longer suppress his racing heart, his imagination had soon driven him down the dreamers lane as to be brought back to reality by shocking words from Sasha.

'Sorry sir, their names where the only thing even the black market information center doesnt have, to them even the records feel like a fantasy story'

She had said

'Fine, send a message to the association president and notify her of my visit soon'

'As you wish, sir'

Like a secretary doing their duties after report  she had stood and input the necessary information on her tablet before exiting the office.

'Two mysterious E-Rank hunter, an assassinated team member, attacking the A.S.SOCIATION, i tell you i so want to recruit these bad boys'

He said to himself as he cheerfully laid his leg on the table, still his face refused to crack a smile even though he was happy.

Three days came by like a fast forwarded CD, it was a shinny day with the sun making sure that there were few humans close to been barbecued, it temperature was hotter than unusual.

Snow, Naomi and White had been standing to stare at the changes on their body.

Unlike the two girls snow had gotten a bit taller and more masculine, his body emitting black magical auras that wasnt so aggressive but pleasing, and the rest of the two also had the same, white body emitted white aura and naomi aura was like a flaming colour type of aura, they stood and just smiled at each other.

After seeing the changes and now sure even their body emits aura after suppressing it to the very last bit, they all sat down, both laid their bodies on Snow as they now stared at the turned on Tv.

'So how long are you two going to cage me in here'

Naomi asked feeling tired of staying in doors

'Right now everyone but the A.S.SOCIATION president believe you are dead, so we are making them believe that until we find a solution to what to do with ZANZA GUILD'

White had responded to her whining.

'You know, we can always take the re-evaluation test and then rough ZANZA Guild Afterwards'

Naomi now suggesting with both siblings staring at her, they both knew that was the only option in settling this matter but hearing it from her herself was surprising

'Are you for real?'

White asked with a lollipop hanging in her mouth, Naomi felt it was necessary she left the apartment so she stood up and dragged Snow by his hands

'C'mon let go'

Her head also gestured along with her voice signifying that White should stand up as well. Like a bad joke they had found themself in the apartment elevator.

This three instantly walked out of the now opened discrete elevator and in surprise they soon came to an abrupt halt.

A black jeep had been parked behind Naomi's car and by the doors were two people who were popularly know by this three, MICHELLE AND VALE

'Isnt this a bit of a surprise? What is the Vice president and assistant vice president doing in front of our guild building?'

Snow had asked feeling a bit angry.

'Besides how did you find us?'

White asked without letting her guard down

'The A.S.SOCIATION has a way of keeping in touch even if you are hidden from the world, well by the way, this is the right time, hey take us to the A.S.SOCIATION'

Vale and Michelle staring at each other as their expression were like that of a confused goalkeeper that had no idea how the ball had passed his defense

'We want to take the re-evaluation test'

Her words rang bells of good news to their ears as they had forgotten their original reason of being there in the first place.

As soon as they heard that, vale had instantly opened up the door to the back seat for the three while Michelle had gone to the driving wheel.

Like VIPs the three walked into the vehicle and it door was shut close by VALE afterwards and not wasting time he also got into the vehicle through it passenger front seat.
