Porter X

Remember when they say there is love and loyalty? And among that so called love and loyalty lies the truth man has failed to acknowledge.

If you have ever faced death and survived and you are still naive enough to trust even the bitter sweet smile of everyone around you then you should know how f*cked up you are. The life this siblings had lived after their fathers death wasnt something found in a common story book or a novel you could read to pass out time.

It's been how long again since this two have lived their life of survival of the fittest? Memories could be said of as they had lost all they had owned after their fathers death and was left to scrub the street off of their daily bread. A life without external families, no cousins, nephew, aunts or uncles, yet those that had made promises came out as dirty as a sewage could be.

Left to survive they could trust no one any longer but themselves, and soon they came to understand each other better and could interpret each other intentions without the functions of verbal communication.

And despite everything, they never gave up but struggle even at the cost of their life. A life they could have been proud of, a life that had now given them the purpose of living, well not until they set gaze upon the screen in front of them.

The chair must have gotten a sense of pain as it let out a squeak of what seems like a painful m.o.a.n to it and apparently snow and white had been sitting upon it by lapping each other while they stare at the illuminated screen on the desktop.

The room was dark and only illuminated by the city light penetrating through the transparent glass wall and that from the system monitor. Rain fell like who ever was using the shower had no intention of turning it off any time soon. Few minutes after a long silent came a snap from what seems to be a crunchy munch made by a crispy well fried potato Pringles.

Snow had relaxed and white nonchalantly did the same on him as she was sitting over his l.a.p.s with an opened pack of crispy potato pringles on her left palm.

'The data we got from The president already stated the fact needed' (snow)

'But her body was never found, doesnt that mean there is something fishy going on?' (White)

'Still i want to believe she is alive somewhere' (Snow)

'Brother, even if we did find her then what?' (White)

'I dont know yet and that is why we need to get stronger in case of the unforeseen circ.u.mstances' (snow)

'Is that why you asked me to suppress my mana before the re-evaluation?' (White)

'Well yes, i cant have anyone knowing what we are truly capable of yet, not until we are sure we can handle any problems that comes our way' (snow)

'What about Naomi, i think shes getting way over her head'

'I want to believe in her regardless of what father said and that is why i will leave everything to you sis'

'Very well brother, if you say so'

After a short conversation that felt endless between this two the door opened with the lights coming up automatically. Like a drenched mouse Naomi stood speechless as she came into the room with White and snow sitting upon each other.

'Speaking of the devil'

Snow had said staring at the sorry state of Naomi who had now decided to take off her wet belongings in front of the entrance.

'What have you two been doing?'

'Reading the data we got from The president and unfortunately the only hope we had is gone'

Snow had replied her while white had decided to leave for her room with the chair squeaking heavily from the weight lifted off of it.

'What do you mean?'

'Well the data provided was quite a thing to m.o.a.n over for a fact, after all it states that our father was involved in this incident but the reason wasnt specified as every proof that should have existed were wiped off'

White staring at Naomi as she battled with her hair pin, filling pity for her struggle she offered a helping hand to this unbearable sight.

'Thanks, and if your dad is involved then i guess it would be best we look up the dark market for information regarding your dad'

'I have done that, and nobody was willing to sell out information, that was why i traded our dungeons to the president but she couldn't still provide me with that'

Snow had said and like a pin getting snapped her hair came loose and White set to leave.

'Goodnight to the both of you, and try to keep the noise down when you are at it tonight'

'Shut the f*ck up you silly devil of a kid sister'

Snow had tossed the pen in his hand in the hopes of it hitting his sister but she had caught it and made mockery out of it before the door went shut.

Feeling relieved of the pressure by this two the chair squeak of what felt like a sigh of relief, snow had stood and walked towards Naomi, his hands had picked the glass sitting comfortably upon her nose with a gentle smile upon his face.

The smile on Naomi has written happiness all over her face, her arms wrapped around snows neck, forehead to forehead and now lips locking to each other like they were destined to never let go of one another as both lips were filled with moist that elapse each other with e.r.o.t.i.c m.o.a.ns.

Feeling the heat of the moment the room went numb with the noises of two hunters under the influence of  love, buttons went undone, clothe fell to the grounds like dead flies killed by plagues, they both struggle to find their way to the bathroom leaving behind staggering footsteps that echoed the tiled floor trying to absorb it noise.

Both walked into the shower and stood in front of each other, the shower ran down upon them like it was an actual rain fall, and after a while of silent came a sudden outbursts of laughter.

'You cant be serious?'

He said and smiled, naomi who had distant herself was now embraced by Snow, the steam had blur the glass that had caved in the bath space as what could be seen were figures of their so called n*ked bodies that lies at the other side of the glass wall.

'I am'

She had responded with a serious tone of words, snow could barely smile but sigh. After few seconds of both staring at each other snow had lost interest and walked out of the bathroom.

As if it has been waiting for this moment the towel had sloppily gotten itself away from it hanger from being grabed by snow with a bit of what seems like excitement from it as it went round snows waist with ease.

'But you have to understand what i mean...'

She had said hoping to persuade snow to stay and listen but was silenced by the door that shut itself.

They say if you ever get a second chance in life, use it wisely, her thoughts rang deep within her with no echo response. She walked into the guild build entrance hall with every eyes that noticed her present stealing a peek at her, black short hair with her left side stylez with braids in white colour with the other side neatly pined to the side with red hair pin, military style attire in red and gold, black short skirt, high grade waist belt holding two swords at each sides of her waist, her left side had a neatly sew one arm cape that flies calmly behind her as she walked, apparently she was in her guild uniform as it logo was embedded on her left c.h.e.s.t which was like a Tiger head with a fancy hand made necklace made out of black rope and a small size red crystal as it pendant.

Ignoring the pesky stares upon her walked up the enormous stairs that lead all the up to floor two and her combat heel shoes did the talking as she walked up the stairs.

Her name was well known among her guild fellow members and her rank was well known worldwide but her identity is only known within the vicinity of her guild for she lived alone with no families or distant relative.

Like an usher welcoming a guest her present want soon embraced by another as her attention was been called to from deep within her thoughts

'You are late! The guild meeting is supposed to hold but it cant begin without your presence'

The man who had stood and waited for her had said as she walked past the final pairs of staircase, he was in his guild uniform as well but his was in pure black and gold with two arms cape apparently his rank was below hers.

'Well i am here, arent i?'

'Well forgive me, i was just following orders to come get you by the guild master'

'...'

She could barely say a word after hearing what she had heard and in that instant her footsteps echoed louder as it picked up it pace towards the vacant elevator.

They say in this city only two guild exist, one is the White Tiger Guild, and the other is the Crimson Fairy,  according to those that lived in this city, everyone had decided to join a reputable guild at least this two guilds are the only guild that are equal in power, they both have SSS-RANK each and are well know around the world.

It is well known that in this city there are no such things as dungeons, why? Dont ask why, this so called guild clears them before they dream about spawning. And to mention they also travel the world helping other city ones in a while, and their rank is differentiated by their uniforms.

But today was one of those days they are gathered in a meeting regarding worldwide information and only the high rank members are allowed.

They say in the WHITE TIGER GUIKD there are about 30 SS-RANK HUNTERS, 60 S-RANK HUNTERS, AND the rest of the hunters consisting of A-E ranks are a total of 650 hunters with a higher rank that exceed them, a SSS-RANK HUNTER, some say unlike the White tiger guild, the CRIMSON FAIRY arent lacking in power as well as they consist of 79 SS-Rank 1 S-Rank and the rest of the hunters consisting  A-E Ranks are a total of 800 hunters with a higher rank that exceeds them, A SSS-Rank Hunter.

Walking into the conference room made the so noisy room calm as it gaze where now set upon the intruder, eyes staring and mouth sealed they all kept quite at her appearance as th door went shut behind her.

The room was big and it space was taken over by a huge screen board, and a round table consisting of 6 seat.

This seats where occupied by their representative squad leaders whose uniform were the same but different from hers as she approached her sit.

'Now that everyone is here, how about we get started?'

A girl said, she was a squad leader, her name was NINA KIN, she ranks 3rd on her seat for she is the 3rd strongest SS-RANK Hunter in the guild, her hair was dyed pink with some flashy cute hairpin.

'Very well, i shall begin with this'

Holding the remote the man had pressed a button that turned on the screen board, he was the guild leader, left eye patch, modern kimono dress with white beards and neatly packed hair.

'O-oh? A third one appeared?'

A guy with blonde spiky hair had nonchalantly said as his whistle echoed the room all in the hopes of calling the attention of the sole SSS-RANK hunter in the room, he is lousy and tries to pick a fight with almost everyone, he is the 4th squad leader with the name SLY, SHIKIGAMI SLY IN FULL.

'We recently got our hands on this information but this was published about a month ago'

The guild master spoke trying to reel out the slow development in the guild.

'It says her name is, NAOMI LENIAT, and she is currently in a guild called the Porter X'

A girl with glasses had spoken, as she stared to the screen and adjusted her glasses with her first finger, she was the 2nd squad leader with a name PRISCILLA WILLIAMS.

'That information is outdated, it says here she was in a guild called ZANZA, but the guild attempted to assassinate her because she joined a team called PORTER X, after a successful recovery and re-evaluation she annihilate the guild itself, and lastly she had ditched the guild PORTER X for GRIMMSAW guild 3 weeks ago'

A boy with an appearance of not older than 12 years of age had spoken while staring at his phone, he had felt digusted after reading the profile, he was the 1st squad leader with the name SIRI MEGABALL.

'shes no different from a p.r.o.s.t.i.t.u.t.e'

'Mind your words SIRI'

A male had spoke in reprimanding tone as siri shun his effort, he was the 5th captain that had walked in with the SSS-RANK Squad leader, his name is LI FENG, his hair was as dark as a shadow could get.

'What about her? Why are we shown records about someone from the ROSE CITY?'

Her question had picked the interest of the guild master, she usually is the quiet type and speak only when necessary, they say when she hunt, it is as swift as a lightning flash and her devotion exceeds everyone else, some say she is like this because of her amnesia after surviving a life threatening illness, some say she is like that because she is married to loneliness.

She was the squad captain of the 5th squad, her words are final and not this five are bound to go against her, they call her the scarlet queen, but her real name is SHELLEY, SHELLEY GREENGARDEN.

'you ask an amusing question, the president of the WORLD HUNTER WELFARE have set eyes on this'

In front of the screen was a male and female icon with zero identity but just their guild name along with no bio data.

'Apparently this two was said to clear the last SS-Rank dungeon in ROSE CITY and as well as hunting down every last bit of the dungeons in ROSE CITY'

With surprise upon their faces they stare at the screen

'It is not a big deal, after all, they have a SSS-RANK hunter assisting them'

Priscilla Williams words caught the attention of siri

'Dont be stupid, that bitch identity was recorded, but this two are different '

His rude comments also caught the attention of the guild master.

'You are right, this two were said to be porters when they cleared the second to the last SS-RANK dungeon and about a week later they cleared the second SS-RANK DUNGEON while NAOMI LENIAT was admitted during the failed assassination.'

The guild master had said and stared at the ones changed screen with no data but just the guild name

'They only consist of 2 members in this guild and they have cleared almost +600 dungeons in lesser days than an average guild would'

The next screen showing a chart of dungeons cleared in Rose City

'This chart indicates the numbers of dungeons left in rose city versus the amount of dungeons left before their existence were noticed'

The chart indicated that from 1,100 of dungeons has been reduced to 446 and as they speak it has even gone below that, the guild master kept with his explanation as his attention was called upon ones again

'So you mean the higher ups want to know who this people are and bring them to power or what?'

Nina kin asked feeling to know the need of such information

'Well the truth is, they want to investigate this two, and bring them in but if not possible they are to be eliminated'

The guild master had spoke with worries, he knew it wont be an easy mission to eliminate such target not to mention two of them.

'Isnt that too over the top?'

Sly had spoken in concern,he knew the higher ups were corrupted but not to this extent

'Well this would be easy, we got words that, one of them is just an E-Rank hunter and the other recently did a re-evaluation test and she was ranked SS-Rank'

The guild master had tried assuring the squad leaders with a smile.

'So who will you be assigning for this mission?'

Sly had asked in hopes of him getting picked with a cheerful big mischievous smile all over his face.

'SIRI AND SHELLEY'

The guild master responded as he stared at SHELLEY who had now stood alongside SIRI with their names been mentioned.

'Tsk'

Feeling disappointed he leaned backwards and rolled back his tongue. He had knew the reason they were picked because they were the strongest in the guild

'Why did you assign me to this mission, guild master?'

'Well you were ones from there, maybe going back there could help recover your lost memories, that aside, i wanted you to guild SIRI through his first away mission'

'Very well i shall leave it at that'

She had said in approval and relaxed her mind

'Your mission starts in 2 days, so prepare your self'

'Yes sir,'

SIRI AND SHELLEY has responded in a respectful manner as they sat back and listened to what comes next.

Hours came by with the sky getting darker, the city soon welcomed the snowy season, as shelley stood in front of her balcony with just her hot pant and a pair of wide neck shirt that seems to have exposed her left shoulder and her left side c.h.e.s.t alongside the handle of bra.

Her nose had gone red with a sneeze that shook her being.

'Damn it'

Her anger was faced to her lack of immunity to such repulsive weather, feeling a bit nervous about going to a city she has no memory off she gave a depressing sigh, she had decided to go into her room to relax for the day leaving the door to shut itself as her present was welcomed by this not so empty room with just a bed, reading table and a wardrobe.

All out white was her dress code, white pant, white inner wear, white jacket and at the right hand side of her arm was the emblem of the guild logo (GRIMMSAW) it logo was like a skeletal mage in hood holding a scythe, as usual her short strawberry blonde hair was neatly packed behind her head as she walked gallantly with her sword held by her high grade waist belt.

Her footsteps called upon the attention of everyone that couldnt resist her present, the guild master office could be seen even from this distance as she gradually close the distance between them.

Naomi who had been working for GRIMMSAW GUILD for the past two weeks now had been summoned to the guild master office.

The so called not so empty office was occupying the guild master, PA and one other guild member as their attention was been called upon by the mechanical tone made by the door as it shut itself after Naomi's entrance

'Oh finally you are here'

'Sorry i was busy clearing the dungeons at this domain, i came as soon as i could'

She explained herself as she helped herself to a seat that was been gestured to by the Guild Master Thomas.

'Very well, i am glad you made it'

His words gave Naomi a cause for concern as she tweaked her eye brows trying to understand the situation and just to make her understand a file was handed over to Naomi as the scrub sound made by it with the table could be slightly heard.

'It is about your Ex-boyfriend'

Hearing those words Naomi had understood the term of words as she decided to open the file, and just like a moment given at the funeral to m.o.a.n the dead the office was succ.u.mbed by silence.

Like a good joke been said the office echoed with just a laugher from a single person and this person was Naomi, those that sat, and stood could be found dumbfounded at her sudden outbursts of laughter.

'What could have amused you?'

The other male hunter who had been seated and quite had asked. He was in his guild uniform as well, it was white as well but his own was a custom made design.

'Forgive me, i just find this piece of news more trashy than the monsters in the dungeons'

She never hesitated to stand from her sit with a smile upon her beautiful face.

'I dont need to worry over SNOW and his SISTER, in fact i am more worried about those that will try hunting them instead'

'If you think so, then what would be your decision if you were ask to be the one to assassinate him'

She had stood and stared at MR. THOMAS who had asked a question that should never had been asked. His intention was to know if there is any possibility.

'If that order comes from me then yes'

Upon her words she smiled and approached the exit as her footsteps came to a halt

'Oh yes, two hunters will make contact with you in probably few days from now, i heard they were specially sent here from the the number 1 ranking guild in the world, so make sure you dont do anything rational '

'That depends on our guest'

She had now exited the opened door in front of her while it went shut behind her, those who saw her behaviour had found their lips sealed except for the male hunter

'So what is the relationship between her and members from PORTER X ?'

'She was an ex-member of the guild but came to join after i recruited her last three weeks, but as you can see, shes a handful'

'Well, dont you think it would be best we keep her under control before she goes out of control?'

'I could sign your funeral papers if you are so inclined to die young'

The hunter shiver in fear as cold sweat broke on his cheek, he knew how intense the words from the guild master was and since he had never seen him smile before he had known this man as someone who never jokes.

'Very well let proceed as schedule'

'Yes sir'

They all began their meeting as planned, sasha had walked closer with her tablet on her arm as she gestured afterwards.

Like a gust of wind in an enclose room everyone present in the president office had stood and stared at what was to happen from this sudden gust of wind, VALE AND MICHELLE with THE PRESIDENT stood knowing what already was about to happen.

Feeling worried the president furrowed her brows as she sat on her chair with a file in front of her.

'You are late, by the way why didnt you use the elevator'

She had said with a nervous tone

'We came here as quick as we could, what else do you want?'

Snow had responded as he and white had walked forward towards the desk which contain a single file and few office materials.

'So why are we here?'

He had asked and in that shut instant only a scrub between a paper and a table could be heard as a file had been presented to snow who had fully given it attention to the file.

'What is this?'

His curiosity made him open the file with his left hand without bothering lifting it

'The higher ups have noticed you and your sister present and i am afraid to tell you they will stop at nothing until you two are dead if they cant control you two'

She had said hoping to get a response from snow or his sister as they both silently stare at the file

'So i guess this is similar to how they killed my old man'

Snow had said with a mischievous smile that sent chills down the silent room.

'I am afraid yes, and i am sorry snow, this is as far as i can help you two'

The president has said with her eyes closed in pure sadness. In surprised her eyes shined brighter as she stared at white who had placed her hand on her head.

'We will be fine'

She said with a big grin on her face, snow had smiled trying to cheer her up

'By the way, we have cleared almost all the dungeons in the city, and i think there are about 15 of it left'

'Incorrect, there are just 5 of it left now, we heard the GRIMMSAW GUILD has also increased the pace of the hunt in the past few days'

Michelle had said with intention of correcting the data but forgot she had caught snows sudden attention.

'Well of course they would, after all they have a SSS-RANK hunter'

Snow had nonchalantly said with a smile, Michelle had soon found her self embarrassed as her face went all red.

'So what actually happened between you two and NAOMI?'

The president had asked as her whole being was filled with curiosity.

'She wanted something different that I couldn't offer, is that a reason enough?'

Snow said and smiled, white had left him as she aimed for the cushion to take a brake on

'I see, so tell me, why are you still refusing to take a re-evaluation test?'

'I am sure you know why, and i am sure you already know that my sister had suppress her magic energy during the evaluation'

'I did suspect that much, but i never knew it was for this reason, very well'

She snapped her finger and Michelle had presented a n hard drive in a small case, The president took it from her and forwarded it to snow whose eyes wasnt moved as he knew what it contains and the danger that followed.

'You gave me this, are you prepared for the outcome?'

Snow had held the case in his right hand as he stare seriously at the president

'It could be worst and my life might be taken for this, but I believe i can handle it'

She said with a smile on her face

Snow knew she was lying and just pretending to be fine, he knew better the risk of what she was about to take, her life was on the line and he knew it wont be long before news came out of her death.

'You have gone soft haven't you?'

'Well it cant be helped, this is the best i can do'

'Very well'

Snow had placed a black small crystal on the table in front of the president as only a glass like noise could be heard from it gentle touch with the table.

Like the entire office had been deserted the room was now occupied by just white snow and the president.

The president was confused as she had no idea this state of emptiness was an astral projection of her mind and that of snow who only wish to convey a message.

'Only break this when you are in a state of emergency and i shall come to you'

Snow said and in that instant the president had lost her sense of reasoning as she could only see snow and white entering the elevator

'That is my thank you gift '

He said with a smile before the elevator went shut, leaving behind a dumbfounded expression on the faces of Michelle and Vale.

'A thank you gift he says'

A smile had creeped upon her face as she held the black crystal with her right hand. Curiosity filled Michelle and Vale as they stare at the president whose face is brimming with happy expression.

'What could that have been, Miss president?'

Vale had decided to understand the content of the crystal as it was an unusual design not similar to any crystal he had known of.

'It shape and figure is unique and seems like a drop item from a boss monster'

Michelle had analyzed it and spoke to what she had believed it could have been. The president now understanding Snows intention of not trusting anyone she smiled and stared more at the pure black crystal to see if it was transparent in anyway but was disappointed by it thickness.

'Michelle you are right but I wouldn't dare trade this, so i will keep it as a memento to honour them of their service'

The president who is now facing Michelle had smiled and her back had yearned to get close to the chair she had sat on for relaxation and in response it was soon embraced by the softness of the chair.

'Now that you have broken the rules, what would happen next miss president'

Michelle asked in worries as she stood and stared at the care free behaviour of the president.

'Do what i do best until the time comes for me to leave the office'

'Very well, i shall help in anyway i can'

Michelle had responded to her with a smile while Vale had bowed and intended to leave the room

'Well there are lots of work left to attend to, i shall take my leave now to see to them miss president'

His words came out after a short bow and his footsteps had notified the room of his approach to the elevator while the president stared at his exit.

Like a suspect exiting the room, the president had instantly stared at Michelle at the moment of the elevator mechanical tone went off.

'Very well, shall we leave then?'

The sigh of relief made by the chair as it was out of danger from been seated on had caught Michelle attention and was now curious about the sudden change of plans in the president schedules.

'Where to?'

'Shopping!'

The president reply had set Michelle brain to hold it functions for some seconds as she could barely comprehend her action. Unable to stand and watch the president walk towards the exit her legs was forced to walk in haste to catch up.

'Why shopping all of a sudden'

'Stop asking stupid questions and come along'

She had said and stood in front of the elevator that is yet to return as Michelle caught up and intended to join her in her wait.

'As you wish miss president '

'I wont be the president for long, so call me Liliana from now on and i hope you get use to it'

Michelle who saw and heard what the president had instructed made her heart skip a beat,she was happy she get to stay at the president side after all she had admired her ever since before she became the assistant vice president.

'Very well, miss pre- oh forgive me, it's just, i cant...'

She fl.u.s.tered and her mind and mouth battled it out as she became short on words to explain her confused state of mind, the president who had seen her could only laugh at her pity state as Michelle face became fl.u.s.tered from being embarrassed.

'I think i wont get tired of this'

The elevator mechanical tone had alerted them both of it arrival as it instantly opened afterwards as footsteps walking in could only be heard from the metallic sound made from it floor and ones again it went shut while occupying the two that had boarded it.

Everyone passing by could do nothing but to stop to steal a glance at this foreigners who had just worked pass them, footsteps and chattering from the crowds were just another means of irritation to these two as phone cameras chip here and there with mechanical tone of pictures taken by them. they were on casual wears, of mostly white, brown and black, SHELLEY and SIRI had just arrived at Rose City, they were both approached by two men in black suit with a Grimmsaw emblem upon the back palm of their white gloves.

'Your emblem, are those real or fake'

Siri had asked

'There is no one who would dare fabricate our guild emblem'

One of them had spoke in an assuring manner as his face were filled with smiles

'Besides it is an honour meeting you two and we've been expecting your arrival, please this way'

Ones again he spoke and nicely bowed and pointed to the awaiting vehicles. SHELLEY AND SIRI had confirmed their safety as they walked forward while been escorted to the vehicle by 4 bodyguard who actually were S-Rank Hunters.

'I had thought we were to be welcomed personally by a hunter called NAOMI LENIAT'

Siri had pressed on to get information out of them, he knew the information they were given arent what was provided.

'Forgive us, but squad leader NAOMI is taking a week off to rest, apparently she cleared the last dungeon yesterday and as we speak there are currently zero dungeons left in the city'

The one representing the escort lead spoke as they soon got to the cars while ignoring the attention of the crowded press that had filled the exit to the vehicles.

'That is new, i had thought a guild name PORTER X were the ones clearing the dungeons'

Siri curiosity for more information had picked it pace, his question wasn't attended to as the bodyguard did their jobs to push pass the press wall trying to get into the now opened vehicle.

The cars were ready to move as they all got in and began to drive off.

'Regarding your question, apparently the hunters in PORTER X had left the rest of the dungeons to us for reasons unknown and had since then been clearing every dungeons that spawned'

'Oh thats new'

Siri kept poking for information, as the car drove off into the far distance of the city scape

'Rumours has it that the spawning dungeons gets cleared even before the association get to know about them'

'So they break more of the rules'

'No they dont, if they did the association would have made them disband and seize their license but our squad leader said, the only time anyone could actually get to hunt in the dungeon is if the hunters in PORTER X decides to take a break'

Upon hearing that SHELLEY spoke for the first time, she felt disgusted with her gaze outside of the darkened wined up glass of the vehicle.

'So they are after the money'

'I dont think so, actually we recently got this information, it says PORTER X spends their fortune helping lower rank hunter below C rank by donating their fortunes in helping them get proper requirement such as drugs for those infected with the ZEPHROID sickness and those unable to buy high grade gears for dungeon hunts'
