[Lady and Gentlement. The administration has deemed this match an official Shokugeki!

I'm Kawashima Urara, a first-year and I'll be your host for this event] said the black hair, announcer girl while posing, making her fanboys go wild with cheers.

[The contestant will be coming from each corner and the first will be Mito Ikumi: The Meat Master]

Ikumi enters the stage with bodyguards and a hood on, it was as if she going to fighting match.

[And here comes the other contestant; Lovin, the self-proclaimed prince of Totsuki!]

Walking into the stage, the grow of (Lovin, Soma, Megumi, the Don RS leader) was met with a crowd of (boo!) mostly from the male side.

The crowd was even outrage when Lovin points his finger up and announce, "Your prince has arrived!"

On the audience seat, Marui facepalm, siting with the other Pole Star Dorm member,

"Why do he have to antagonize the already heated crowd even more?"

"Who knows but he does have some gut to be saying something like this with all those hate sending his way" Royko stated.

Megumi was too nervous to notice anything and starting to the kanji (man) on her hand while Soma looks around in awe, not bother at all by the hate and booing.

[Allow me to run through the process, there will be three judges. The theme is don and the main ingredient is meat. If Mito-san wins, the Don RS will shut down and Lovin-kun will be expelled.

If Lovin-kun wins, the Don RS's budget will be increased, and their facilities will be upgraded but that not all. In addition, Mito-san will join Lovin-kun non-existent club call: Cooking Extraordinaire!]

"This will be the last time I ever have to see your annoying face, any last word?" Ikumi asked, facing Lovin from the opposite side.

"I'll win. There no way I'll lose if it means I never get to see your pretty face again" he smiles, stating without any doubt like it was already predetermined.

"You..." Ikumi clutches her teeth.

Then, on the booth, overlooking the stage, Erina walks in with Hisako behind her, surprising everyone and made them wonder why she here.

[Contestant, to your station!" with everything ready, the announcer girl yell,

"Let the Shokugeki begin!"

"I show you an ingredient that you can never hope to get your hand on, behold the ultimate meat" Ikumi present the A5 beef and show off her skill in easily cutting the almost whole cow meat.

After taking a chunk of the marbling beef, she begins to sear with butter, letting the meat aroma spread through the stage. With the searing done, she put into the over to cook through and to just wait it out.

Curious about what kind of meat her opponent going to use to counter her A5 beef, she looks at Lovin's station and was shocked at what she found.

Instead of expensive beef or pork, Lovin was smoking a chicken with wood.

"You! why did you bring a chicken to a meat theme match?"

"Hm..." Lovin turn her way and just smile without any worry, "Chicken is meat."

"Damn..." Ikumi mutter and get back to her work.

She can't stand him and his alway carefree attitude. Even since they met, he never once took her words seriously or fears her and it pissing her off. She'll show him the power of A5 beef and wipe that smile off his face.

Looking at the guy who was his last hope, using a chicken to go against A5 beef, the Don RS leader freak out,

"Hey, is this going to okay?!"

"I'm not sure. I didn't think Lovin would use a chicken" Soma's words put him in even more state of depression.

With the ringing on the bell, the hour of cooking toa close and it's judging time, [Time up!]

[The first to go is Lovin-kun!]

"Why do we've to eat this when we could try the A5 beef," said the judges, making fun of Lovin while he drops off bowls for each of them.

"Come one, don't say that. You going to Love this, it-" Lovin takes the lid off of the bowl, showing meats cover in eggs, "The ultimate Oyakodon."

"Oyakodon huh? let get this over so we can try the A5 beef"

"Huh?..." the moment the judge bit into the dish, they were teleported to a large farm with numerous

golden hen flying into the sky, while popping out golden eggs, showing them from above like rain.

"So good!"

They start to devour the food, completely forgot about judging and just relish themselves at the moment, shocking everyone.

"How can this be?!" Ikumi question.

How can a dish that is basally just chicken and egg brought out this reaction?

"Ooh, even the rich are good!"

"Yeah" Lovin raises his thumb, "I season the rich with dried, edible algae and the chicken was marinated in garlic before being smoke to increase its umami as much as possible. Nothing is left untouched, it's a full-body flavor!"

On the audience seat, Yuki exclaimed, "Wow, look at them go! They eating like they just out after stranded in a deserted island!"

"Okay, I'm totally lost of what going on" Marui pushes his glass back in place with sweat on his face.

After just a minute, the bowl was completely empty and the judge looks toward Lovin with a longing face.

"Do you have any more?"

"Sorry but you still have to judge one more dish"

As Ikumi bring her dish, she couldn't help but be a little nervous but she still believes her meat going to win. Her don was garlic rice with a beautiful flower of A5 beef on top.

Her heart throbs rapidly when the judge places their spoon down with a disappointed look after taking just one bite of the don.

"Why are you guy not eating more?!"

The female of the judges was the one to answer her,

"After eating the overwhelming flavor of Lovin-kun's don, the A5 beef just tastes kinda bland."

"Why! How can A5 lose to this?!

Lovin walk over to Ikumi and hand her his don, "Eat this and forget all your worry."

Staring at the bowl, she takes a bite, tasting the warm, savory and mellow flavor of the dish.

It was like when she was in her mom's arms, confronting her after her dad destroy her toy and telling her everything's going to alright.

Lovin lift her chin up up and wipe the tear, falling down her face,

"Now, doesn't that feel better?"

On the booth, Erina grips the edge of the chair's arms before getting up and walk out the room.

"Let go, Hisako!"
