Project: Success

Min Ju bid farewell to her members and logged out. She removed the headphone and looked at the time.

It's lunch time. She still have to wait until 5 pm.

The maid called out to her for lunch. The dining room was quiet. Min Ju felt lonely at the empty table.

After a while, she's done eating her fill.

The house became so quiet all of a sudden. She called out the maid but she didn't get a response.

Okay, where the f.u.c.k are they?!

A honking of a car sounded outside and Qing Wu Yao's figure caught her attention.

"It's still early why are you here?"

"Change of plans. There's going to be traffic later so I wanted to go early. Do you mind?"

"No. I don't have anything to do. I don't even know where the people here had gone. Wait a second and I'll go change my clothes."

Min Ju wore something casual when they got out of the Fu Manor.

In the Airport.

Five tall and slender figures step out of the plane. Their look were very foreign. Having blue and greyish eyes. Straight nose and full pink lips.

These people were the Jackson Family. They came to surprise Min Ju in her birthday today! However, the birthday girl seems to forgot that today is her birthday.

"Is your grandmother fetching us?" Mrs. Megan Jackson ask.

"Yes, she said she's been waiting for us." the eldest son answered.

"Good. She had been away for long. What is she doing here anyway? Your grandmother might have been doing some crazy sh*t. You all know your grandmother. She's very stubborn and unpredictable." Mrs. Jackson tone became soft. She was worried about her mother. Though her mother was already old, she's the one who always give her headache.

Her son's laugh as Mrs. Jackson looks so problematic. Thinking about their grandmother, they cannot help but shake their head.

"You remember her address right, mother?" The second son asked. What if they get lost from this foreign country?

"I have it. Don't worry."

Meanwhile, Qing Wu Yao and Min Ju arrive at a luxurious Manor.

It was more eye catching than the Fu Manor. The back mountain is green and lush and the front lawn is a wide vast space that were filled with lush flowers. There's also some pine trees at the edge of the gate.

There was a guard in his suit standing at the gate and the moment he saw them he quickly walked towards Min Ju and kneeled.

"Xu Wanhai welcomes the lord of the house." His tone were respectful. Xu Wanhai was one of Qing Wu Yao's trusted men. Since today's Min Ju's birthday he decided to gift this man as Min Ju's shadow guard and this Manor as a birthday gift instead of a betrothal gift that he had thought of in the past.

Min Ju eyed Qing Wu Yao for inquiry. Seeing him nod. She knew that this person can be trusted.

"Get up. No need to kneel, I'm not a royal." Min Ju laugh.

Xu Wanhai opened the gate. Upon opening, there was a group of maids and butlers welcoming them in two lines with their right hand sticking on their c.h.e.s.t.

However, where the hell did they come from?! They just appeared out of nowhere?! So mysterious!

Min Ju felt like a noble girl who was doted upon by a Duke as they walked at the red carpet laid by the maids and butlers at an earlier time.

"Welcome, our lord!" They greeted with a smile.

Min Ju nodded as recognition. She turn to look at Qing Wu Yao who was smiling at her softly. His eyes were glinting with doting and happiness as he looked at her with affection.

That smile of his made Min Ju's heart flutter. It was as if cupid's release an arrow again to target her heart.

Warmth spread in Min Ju's heart. She felt really lucky that this man chose her!

Qing Wu Yao took a step closer and said, "Happy Birthday!"

Happy...birthday?

asdfghhjkl! Shocks! What date is today?! Today is her birthday?! How could she have forgotten!!!

Today is both her and Min Ju's 19th birthday!
