Min Ju excuse herself for a moment. Her tail, Qing Wu Yao of course followed suit. The moment Min Ju entered the house she flip the gift that Grandma Jackson give to her. She has been holding it earlier.

There was a white paper plastered on the red gift saying, "Be careful. An Yang is watching."

She and Qing Wu Yao glance at each other. They didn't know that Grandma Jackson knew of An Yang.

"Thank you for the 'gift' Grandma Jackson." Min Ju said her thanks to the old woman when she return from the courtyard in which where the party was held.

"No worries." Grandma Jackson wave her hand in knowing and proceeded to talk with Grandfather Fu and Old Man Xiao.

Hours later...

The guest had return to their houses, wishing Min Ju some well wishes. Some of them are currying favor but others are genuine.

Min Ju and the people in Fu Manor are accompanying the Jackson Family in the gate.

"Thanks for coming to my birthday Aunt, brothers and Grandma."

"I enjoyed it very much." Said the youngest. He had a tint of crimson blush probably from drinking and for some other reason why he as tipsy, only he knows.

The Jackson Family bid their goodbyes and hop onto Grandma Jackson's car and took off.

He Rue and the others immediately resign to their designated bedroom because of tiredness.

"Aunt Jackson was the one that help me greatly when I was abroad." Min Ju said to Qing Wu Yao and to her Grandfathers.

"Figures." Old Man Xiao answered in an old man cool manner.

"They are the reason why me, Grandfather and the Fu Manor still exist." Min Ju turn to Grandfather Fu and smiled sweetly.

"I have to thank them greatly then." Grandfather Fu said. If he knew that they are the ones who had taken care of his Granddaughter he would have kneeled to them in gratitude.

"Aiya, there's no need for that Grandfather One. They wouldn't mind. If they knew that Min Ju is well, they knew they had done well. Furthermore, they know that Min Ju is grateful."

Grandfather Fu sigh. "Let's go and get some rest." He then dragged Old Man Xiao to the Manor.

"Have you taken a liking to one of them in the past?" Qing Wu Yao, who was silent for the night ask.

"No. Two of them is my boss. The other two is not my type and the other one is younger than me. I like them as they were the one had help me. Moreover, Aunt Jackson wants me to treat them as brothers." Min Ju understood the meaning behind Qing Wu Yao's question.

"Let's go. It's getting cold." Min Ju turn but there was something that caught her attention in her peripheral vision that's why her head turn towards that direction.

Su Mei move a little to catch Min Ju's attention when she was about to turn away. She need to give this gift to her! She have to!

She was her only hope!

"What's wrong?"

"Ah Yao, you can to and shower. Wait for me."

"Aren't we going together?—I mean to enter the house together?" Qing Wu Yao changes his question when he found the first one seems wrong.

"I'll stay here for a while. The night breeze is good."

'You said it was getting cold earlier and now you're saying the night breeze is great?' Qing Wu Yao thought to himself. At the same time he remove his blazer and said, "I'll stay with you."

There must be something that caught her attention.

"Come out." Min Ju said in a cold but low threatening voice.

Su Mei when was hiding in the dark took a long breath. She just hope that An Yang is not watching right now. She just hope that his ears and eyes left the vicinity.

Su Mei's figure emerge under the light of the moon. The couple can finally saw who it was. Though she was wearing a cap, the couple can see her overly pale face. They didn't expect that it was Su Mei.

With stiff steps, Su Mei arrived in front of Min Ju. She raise the gift with trembling hands and give it to her.

"Why did you not enter?" Min Ju question her with narrowed eyes. Su Mei was not her opponent. Sure she have a nasty personality but she was transparent and real towards her. Unlike Su Lei who was actually a snake. She waiting for an opportunity to attack and when she finally sheds skin, Su Lei become even more sneaky, hissing at her now that she got her MJ identity.

Su Mei's lips trembled from the cold. Though she was wrap in a hoodie. The cold still seeps through inside the her clothes.

"I-I wasn't invited." She meekly answered.

Min Ju and Qing Wu Yao frown. The Su Mei right now is so weak and timid. What the hell happened to her? Where's her arrogant appearance go?

"Stupid! Even if you're wearing your jacket it won't save you from the impending cold. Winter season is coming!"

Su Mei shrank her neck unconsciously. "I'm sorry."

"You must have been waiting for the cold. Wu Yao, go and prepare some hot drink."

"Yes, my lady." Qing Wu Yao said like a servant in love with his mistress.

Silence befall between Su Mei and Min Ju. Min Ju doesn't want to let Su Mei enter the Fu Manor. Though she don't have a deep enmity towards Su Mei she was reluctant to let her enter the Fu Manor.
