"Did he do something unlawful?"

Qing Wu Yao took a glance at Old Man Xiao before nodding, "He was a criminal. Actually, he was a former Major General in our Military Force. But that title greatly angered him. He was a greedy man. Eyes red, and he'll do anything to ruin those who run his way."

Qing Wu Yao tighten his grip.

"You said he was a criminal. What did he do?" Uneasiness filled Grandfather Fu's heart.

"He killed people without batting an eye."

"Then I better warn the Su's!" He stood up but he was stop by Old Man Xiao.

"Old Fu, you can't do that. If you interfere An Yang's current plan, he will target our Juju." Old Man Xiao's face was deathly pale. Grandfather Fu tried calmed down seeing his reaction.

"You don't have to worry, Grandfather Fu. An Yang wont hurt the Su since he consider one of the people there his family. Su Mei is his beloved girl. However, I don't know if that man will never touch you or Min Ju. His girlfriend and your granddaughter were against each other, it isn't possible that he won't make a move against her. We just have to be careful."

Min Ju was all alone in the back garden, thinking, and feeling how good the night breeze was on her skin.

She sat at the stone bench near the white and red roses.

She was admiring the moon when her phone suddenly lit up. She received a message from an unknown number saying, "Be very careful, darling. I'm watching everyone of you. Did you enjoy your time with your grandfathers and that bunch of people?"

Min Ju stood stun in her place.

She looked around her surroundings when suddenly a flying knife grazes her cheeks.

A bunch of men in black has entered, encircling her.

Min Ju stood in her tracks. She can't scream because if she did, the people inside will be worried. However, she can deliberately call Ki Shuang, the bodyguard.

She put the phone facing down. She just wish Ki Shuang answered her call.

Min Ju tried to stay calm in this situation. If she panic it will put her life more in danger.

"Who are you? What do you want?"

Meanwhile, inside the Manor. Qing Wu Yao had heard something outside and immediately got on his feet.

"Stay here."

He had heard several footsteps coming from the back of the house.

At the same time, Ki Shuang receive Min Ju's call and had heard the conversation outside. He immediately storm off outside causing the others to panic.

"Old Men, stay seated! All of you!" Qing Wu Yao shouted at them.

"Back garden." Ki Shuang muttered and the two of them walked towards where Min Ju is.

"Enjoying the view of my garden?"

'This is enough to stall a bit of time. However, there's only me and Ki Shuang and there's 6 of them. I can't take them all down. All of them are armed.'

Her eyes drifted around an escape route.

She gulp a mouthful of saliva before drawing all of her weight, crashing towards one of the men in black.

It was a risky move since that man has a knife.

"Urgk!"

The two of them crashed on the ground. The five standing men in black was stunned beyond word for having such a huge guts.

All of them immediately unsheathed their short sword and charge towards Min Ju lying on the ground.

The girl avoided their attacks. A piece of sodt fabric landed in the grand and a thin gash appeared on Min Ju's side calf.

Min Ju but her lips. She have no weapons with her.

"Be a good girl, Missy." One of them said and licked the blade. This person has a huge scar on his face. Up to his foread and down to his chin. He looks maniacal.

Bang!

"What's that?" Grandfather Fu and the others were startled. The feeling of unease slowly eat Grandfather Fu's heart. He stood up.

"Old Fu! Where are you going?!" Shout Old Man Xiao

"My Min Ju! She's outside!" Grandfather Fu ran towards the gun shot.

"Old Fu!!!"

Qin Wuxie and He Rue trembled. "What is going on? Is this an assassination attempt?" Qin Wuxie hugged herself.

"Calm down, girls. Qing Wu Yao is here. Nothing's going to happen." Han Lian said, trying to comfort the girls and himself.

"M-min Ju is outside..."

Uncle He opened a drawer and took a pistol. He then said, "Stay here. I'm going there."

"Dad...be careful."

Uncle He nodded. He turn to looked at Han Lian and Lin Zhu. "Boys, protect the girls.

Qing Wu Yao hold his smoking gun. His eyes traveled to her face bloodied cheeks and calf.

The men in black was slightly taken aback when their comrades fall down. One of them charge towards Min Ju and the others towards Ki Shuang and Qing Wu Yao.

With another click of his gun, he pointed out of them. The ammo cut through the air continuously however, the assassin nimbly avoided all of it.

"Min Ju!" He throws the gun to Min Ju wanting her to used the gun whenever she needed.

Qing Wu Yao grabbed the man's armed and with a powerful clutch, the assassin dropped the short sword. Using his hands, he cleanly broke the enemies arms and push it towards the other enemy.

On the other hand, Min Ju catches the gun. With a body twirl she pointed it out of her opponent.

"Who ordered you? Answer me or you're dead."

But the man did not answer. Instead he move against her, kicking the gun out of her hands.

She was punch and kicked in her stomach causing Min Ju's body to curl and cough out blood.
