Chapter 89 - Underground Fight (3)

Min Ju and King Shui stood in a fighting stance. The crowd grew quiet waiting for them to start.

"You don't look strong without your weapon." She said.

"Don't underestimate your opponent, Min Ju."

"Oh, I'm not. I'm just giving you my opinion."

"START!"

At the same time, Min Ju and King Shui charged at each other. She send a long kicked towards him but the male blocked it with his knee up and elbow.

'It seemed that I had gone a little rusty.' Min Ju thought to herself.

In a second, Min Ju stretch her hand to send a palm strike to King Shui's forehead. Taken aback, King Shui was send two steps back.

He felt dizzy. The strike looks weak but the impact when it touches his forehead is strong.

King Shui stared at Min Ju. She looks strong and her body looks well maintain.

Even when she's just standing there with a hand on her waist. She looks extremely arrogant and powerful.

As a person who have large imagination, King Shui can literally imagine Min Ju's red aura is dominating the whole surroundings.

King Shui smiled thirstily. She was the best he got when it comes to any opponent he had brought here.

He ran towards her and leaped in the air. Descending, his tightened grip almost touch Min Ju's face if she hadn't avoided it. However, Min Ju didn't know a kick was coming right under her side. She stumbled sideways.

She give King Shui a deathly glared as she stands up. Her heels making a clacking sounds as she she ran and spun towards him to give him a round house kick.

"That hurt, you son of a b-tch." She commented.

"Damn." King Shui muttered under his breathe and punch the floor. His ears ringing, his nose bleeding.

He laughs. She really is the best opponent he had ever had. When was the last time he was hit? He can't remember. But today, he can feel the pain that Min Ju is giving him.

Lifting up her head, he was stunned to see the expression of Min Ju. He can't see half of her face but the thing that gives him goosebumps were that one eye who was looking at him like he was a dead man.

So scary!!! King Shui mentally cried. Truth be told, he lied at Min Ju that its a fight to the death. He just wanted to scare him. In the underground arena, it was forbidden to kill or beat the other contender to death. It was okay if the two parties was still fighting for over an hour and has still more energy on them. They'll be battered with bruise but they are not dying.

King Shui blocked Min Ju's down kicked towards his face. "Not the face, Min Ju!" He exclaimed. That heels would definitely broke his nose if ever it touch his beautiful face!

Min Ju made a back flip to make a distance. She let out a light laugh. "Oh, I thought you wouldn't care if I thrash up that face!"

'Oh God. She looks like the villain and I am the protagonist.' King Shui imagined himself being beaten by the villain.

In Min Ju's story, King Shui is just a passing character or better, a supporting character.

"How could you! Min Ju, beautiful people get everything!" He shouted at her.

Min Ju smiled, amused. He was right though. Nowadays, beautiful people get everything. The world only care about looks, if not it's money.

"Hey! Give us an exciting fight!" No one knows who yelled this from the crowd.

"Come down here and I'll give you one!" Min Ju shouted back from the crowd. That person zipped her mouth right after she said this.

The old lady who watchinf from her monitor release a smile. "What an interesting girl." she muttered.

The old lady lean from the leather chair and watch the fight. She watched both King Shui and Min Ju with complete interest. King Shui sending punches and kicks while her, blocking him using only her legs. The only time she used her hands was when she palm strike King Shui. Why can't she used her hands to punch him? This was the question that keeps popping in her mind.

The only people that was afraid to hurt their hands were the pianist and the game players. Is Min Ju a pianist or a player? Old Lady Jackson asked herself again.

But before she could asked more question her phone rings.

"Hello?"

"Grandma, how are you? Why aren't you calling us? Didn't you miss mother and me?" A pampered voice of a male was heard on the other line. Furthermore, he was speaking in fluent English.

"How could your grandmother miss you when I was always getting entertain here by a bunch of youngsters." The old lady laugh with a trace of delight. She had stayed long here in Beijing for their business company and this side job of hers is very entertaining to watch. Betting money, the sounds of flesh getting beaten. Although it's a little harsh for an old lady like her, don't forget that she live her life for 80 years. She saw much more than this in the past.

"Grandma, why is it so noisy out there like there was an entertaining fight! Where are you? Are you hanging out with some bad influence people again?"

"Its just my side job. Son, the owner of this side job of mine seemed like a decent man. He was an ex-militant." Old Lady Jackson remember the face of the man she had met a few years ago. That person looks domineering and was always accompanied by this beautful girl. However, when she saw him again a few days back it seemed she was replace by another girl who looks rather similar of the previous girl.

"Why are you calling again, Riley Jackson? My youngest grandchild?" She asked shaking her head to erase that terrifying man away from her mind.

"Were going to visit Beijing soon."

"You're going to visit me? I'm so touch."

Riley Jackson laughed from the other side. "Yup. We're going to visit you too. But the reason why we're going to visit Beijing is because of mother's goddaughter."

"Oh? Who's the lucky child? What's her name?" Her daughter was only blessed by five sons. It was a pity that there was no daughter that he could really pampered and call her princess.

"Min Ju. Her name is Min Ju."
