Project: Success

Min Ju and He Rue looked carefully inside the shop. There are still many CD's in there that was left untouch. Those CD's are very old but the music is great!

Later on, she step upstairs. The 2nd floor is empty. Only a wooden table and chair stood silently in the spacious room.

"So?" He Rue stared at Min Ju.

"I'm going to renovate the second floor while the first floor will remain the same." Min Ju turn her head to the father and son duo.

"How much do you want to sell it? I'll buy all the CD's too."

"To be honest. My father and I don't know." Lin Zhu answered truthfully and rub his nape in embarrassment. "We haven't talk about it."

"Actually, this building isn't small at all. It's very widely spacious and the internal designs are very good. How about 300,000 RMB?"

Both men were stunned. 300,000? That's a huge sum of money! Lin Ke didn't know how much did his grandfather bought this building. The structure of the building is very well thought off. Even though it was an old shop, it had suffered greats storms and floods yet the building is still as strong as new.

"You're not happy with the said price?" He Rue open her mouth, waking up Lin Ke and Lin Zhu from their thoughts.

"Deal." Lin Ke said with a firm voice. His son could finally have good foods and continue his studies. Its good that his account would finally be filled up again.

"I'll send you the money. Give me your account number."

Lin Ke obeyed what she said and a minute later, 300 000 RMB were transfered into his account.

Lin Zhu already prepared all the papers and the important doc.u.ments for signing. He gave it all to Min Ju who passed it to He Rue after reading it.

"Thank you, Miss Min. I have been losing hope that maybe no one would want to buy my shop." The man said as he grin widely from happiness.

"I just came back from US and I needed a studio to record my songs and I finally found your shop with much scrolling online. The building is good too and was well taken care off." Min Ju said glancing at the surroundings.

"You make music?" The 16-year-old Lin Zhu asked.

"Yeah. But she haven't started yet. We still have too many things to do. We still need to build a recording room in the second floor." He Rue open her notebook as she looked at all the list written in the white paper.

"That's nice, Ma'am Min."

"Oh please. Just call me Min Ju. I think you're just younger than me for two years. I felt really old when you call me Ma'am." She chuckled and the three people also laugh.

"Oh, right. Do you know where I could hire people?" She suddenly asked.

"For?"

"I'm just going to hire a few maids and bodyguards for my grandfather."

"I can recommend you someone. He was a bodyguard of a celebrity until he quits his job." Lin Ke explain. When he heard the young woman want a bodyguard, his friend Ke Shang popped up in his mind.

"Don't worry. He is an honest and loyal man. Unfortunately, he had to quit since his boss angered his grandma to death causing for the old woman to die."

"What the heck!" He Rue blurt out. Her inner gossip girl was unleashed as she ask Lin Ke of what happened next.

"Ke Shang sued the woman but was greatly defeated. He can't even find a job because he lost in court. That celebrity pulled some strings for my friend not to find job." Lin Ke explain patiently.

"So, what happened at the woman? His ex-boss?" Unexpectedly, Min Ju spoke.

"Still a rising star. She was now under one of the biggest agency here in China."

"Lucky woman." Min Ju scoff. That woman must have spend so much money to win the case.

Simply saying, the money runs the world.
