Project: Success

Su Lei cannot keep her cool. But the person who has the most loss expression on her face was Grandmother Shi.

"Did you just spend two hundred and fifty thousand to an orphanage?!" The shock in her heart cannot be contain. That was half of half a million. How dare she waste that money on children?!

"Do you have a problem, Grandma Shi? It's my money, I do whatever the hell I want with it."

"If you're not asking to be slap, get out of my sight." Min Ju wave her hand as if dismissing the Su Family.

"Wow, Min Ju! Let me slap you too!" This was Su Lei. She was about to slap Min Ju but her hand stop in midair. She glance at the hand holding her wrist and looked at Su Mei.

"Let's not fight here. Let's go somewhere private." Su Mei release Su Lei's hand down. She then turn towards the crowd.

"Everyone, this was all just a misunderstanding between our family. No need to fuss about it." She said.

"Oh? When do you care so much about your family's image, Su Mei. When it comes to me all of you are already ruin. You cannot change one's opinion towards you after knowing their true colors, correct?"

"Silence! Min Ju why did you grew up like this?! Is this because you've been hanging out with the Min family?!" Su Jing exploded. She has been taunting them. Provoking them to the point of explosion and slandering their Su Family! How could Su Jing tolerate it? Even if she have to humiliate her in front of everyone she'll gladly do it. Even if she have to completely severe her ties with her.

"You grew up abroad without someone taking care of you. This is why you have this kind of attitude, right?" Su Jing's voice is loud and clear. She wants others to hear her voice.

"If you keep up with this attitude I want to severe my ties with you!"

The crowd gasp. Does this mean Min Ju will literally become a motherless child?

Min Ju's expression was unreadable. However, there was no changes in that smiling expression of hers and that grays eyes almost as if it can kill a soul.

"First and foremost..." Min Ju parted her lips. Her voice low and unexpectedly remain cold. The crowd thought at first that Min Ju would kneel down and beg but they never expected her to be so calm and compose.

"I grew up with a good upbringing. Are you mad because I treated you without respect? Why don't stop harassing my grandfather and leave him alone with our Fu Manor first before we sit down and talk about respecting each other shall we?" Min Ju gently let herself go from the holds of others and stood straight.

"Secondly, I didn't know that we still have ties with each other. I was abandoned by you remember? And last time I check, I didn't give a f.u.c.k. We're strangers."

The surrounding goes quiet the instant her words ended. Su Jing's face change. She felt dizzy so she hold on to her husband, Su Gen.

"Is that all clear to you, Mrs. Su? Our ties break 13 years ago."

"Sorry to say this, but you never fulfilled the role of a mother to me except those five years. I really appreciate that you brought me to life. But I never appreciated that you left us in hell."

Su Jing trembled and bit her lips. She tightened her hold in Su Gen's arms. She want to leave and get away from her. All Min Ju's words is like fire burning against her skin.

"Others may look at me with contempt because I was a fruit in a failed marriage. However, only a few people that know what suffering was can only understand me."

Min Ju took the jacket in her shoulder and cooly raise her hand to hold it as it dr.a.p.e in the side of her back.

"You can gossip about me all you want. Spread falls rumors about me everywhere. Who am I, anyway? Only I and my closest friends knows."

It was still a dead silent. So her voice directly pierce right through the heart of others. That burning words hurt their heart. All of us were guilty. We were insecure to others that it darkness completely engulf our hearts without considering that someone might get hurt. Because we were selfish. We only want to do what we want even if we have to hurt others.
