Promise: Jungkook FF

All of you were celebrating Jungkook's birthday at your beach resort.

It was already late and Jeongsan came to you.

"Mommy..." He said as he rub his eyes.

"Are you sleepy?" You asked.

He just nodded, then he suddenly fell and lost conscious. You caught him and carry him.

"Jeongsan? Wake up, baby! Jeongsan!" You shouted and caught everyone's attention.

It became quiet and you noticed the cookie in his hand. You smell it and it has peanuts.

"Peanuts... he ate peanuts!" You said and you can tell that you were scared.

Jungkook came and heard what you said. He quickly carry Jeongsan and run to the car. You felt tears falling in your cheeks. Jeongsan was allergic to peanuts and he almost die the last time he had allergies because of peanuts.

"Jeongsan, please hold on." Jungkook said and you sob.

As soon as you arrive to the hospital, a doctor came and bring your son to the emergency room. You fell into your knees and started crying. Everyone noticed that it was you and jungkook, so they started taking pictures of you two. You didn't care about them, the only thing that was in your mind was your son. Then, you started thinking of how did he ate that cookie. You were the one who choose the food, but you never chose dishes and desserts that has peanuts because of your son. You started to get angry at whoever gave that cookie to Jeongsan.

"I need to leave." You said coldly.

"What- where are you going, bunny?" Jungkook asked.

"Just look after Jeongsan, I'll be back." You said.

Jungkook knew that something was off when you answer him like that. And since he'll know the reason later on, he let go this time.

You drove back to the hotel. The manager came to you.

"I'm so sorry, miss. I didn't know about that cookie. We didn't serve any of it." She said.

"Shut up, call the security and let me see all the CCTV records at that time." You said, coldly

"Yes, miss." She said and quickly left.

After that, you check all the cameras and saw a suspicious woman wearing an all black outfit. She called Jeongsan when he was coming out of the room. She took out a bag of cookies and gave him one. You pause and zoom at the face of the woman. Your eyes widened when you recognized who it was.

"S-she did this?... To... to my son?" You said while breathing heavily.

You slam the table that made everyone flinch.

"Sh*t... I bet she replaced Jayson." You said.

You ran out of the security room and back to your car. You were going to drive when your phone rings. It was Jungkook. As soon as you answer the call, you heard your son's voice.

"M-mommy? When are you going back?" He asked in a weak voice.

Hearing his weak voice gives pain in your heart. Knowing that your son was in the hospital because you didn't look after him. It made you think that you were an irresponsible mother. You sob and wipe your tears.

"Umm... Baby, mommy's coming... I'm sorry that I was not by your side when you woke up." You said.

"It's okay, mommy... just come here. Daddy's not feeling well too, he's crying." He said.

"Okay, baby. As soon as I arrive, I'll take care of the both of you." You said.

"Okay, mommy. Me and Daddy loves you so much." He said.

"I love you two too... so much." You said, tears started to fall even more.

"Be safe, Mommy!" He said.

"Take care of yourself also." You said.

You hung up and wipe your tears. You drove to the hospital and go to your son. As soon as you came in front of the room's door and opening it slightly, you heard your son comforting his father.

"Daddy... I'm fine... see?" Jeongsan said.

You heard Jungkook crying and sobbing.

"Don't cry, Daddy... you said I should be strong for you and mommy, so I did. So please, daddy... do the same, don't cry, it makes harder for me to not to cry too." Jeongsan said.

"I-I'm so sorry, Jeongsan... you almost d-die earlier... I'm not a good father for you." Jungkook said, sobbing.

"That's not true, daddy. You and Mommy are the best parents that I could ever have. It's not your fault that I got allergies. It was that woman's fault." Jeongsan said.

When you heard "woman", you quickly go inside.

"What did that woman say to you, Jeongsan?" You asked, worriedly.

"I was refusing and telling her that I can't eat that cookie without your permission, mommy. But she said that you told her that I can eat that cookie. I didn't know that it has peanuts, I was going to share the cookie with you, but I felt dizzy." Jeongsan said.

You took a deep breath.

"Baby, mommy will come back, I just need to do something. Promise! I will come back as fast as I can. Here's you favorite, I'm sorry for being not here." You said as you gave him the banana milk.

"It's okay, mommy. Daddy explained everything that you left because you have to do it for me. And I really thank you for being the best mommy for me." Jeongsan said with his biggest smile.

You kiss his head and hug him.

'No one will harm our family... I promise that.' You thought to yourself.

"Bunny? Please take care of Jeongsan. Promise that you will not take your eyes off him... someone might harm him." You said and whisper that last words.

"What? W-who would such a thing?" Jungkook asked.

"It's Jayson's woman, he had some women in the past, but when he decided to stop and dump all of them because of me, one of them tried to kill me before. Because she thought I stole him, and probably, when she knew about his death... she wanted revenge and put our son in danger, instead of me. I-I can't let that happen. I rather die than Jeongsan or you. I started all of those, so I will finish it all." You said.
