Promise: Jungkook FF

Jeongsan got woke up by Ae cha, Sehun's mom.

"Jeongsan? Why are you crying?" Ae cha asked.

"A-auntie..." He said and started crying again.

"W-why? What did you dreamed about?" She asked.

"M-mom... I wish I didn't woke up and just... stayed with her." He said.

"Don't say that... your mother is just missing, she's not dead. I believe in her. She might be gone, because she have to. Just like what she did before you were born." She said.

"B-but why? Why didn't she told us? Didn't she love us?" He asked.

"She loves all of us very much, especially you and your father. And if she promise something, she never breaks it." She said.

"But... she promised me that she will come back. And up until now, she's still missing." He said.

She sighed and look at his eyes.

"You got your mom's eyes. And because of you, I didn't forget what she look like. When I saw you, I feel like she's here. Even though you can't see her. She's in you. In here..." She said and points at his heart.

Jeongsan wipes his tears and stands up.

"Where are you going?" She asked.

"I'm... going home." He said.

She just smiled and nodded. Jeongsan gets all his things and go to his car, then drove back to their house. Jeongsan saw his father fell asleep while waiting for him at the front door. He suddenly felt sorry for his father. He came to him and wake him up.

"Father... wake up. Are you here the whole night?" Jeongsan asked.

Jungkook woke up and saw his son. He quickly hug him.

"I'm so sorry, Jeongsan. I didn't meant to hurt you last night, I was just... stress and the gang is not doing well. And about the arranged marriage-"

"I accept it, Father. I'm also sorry for shouting at you last night." Jeongsan said while he was looking down.

"Jeongsan..." Jungkook said.

"It's okay, Father. I know I have to sacrifice too. Like what you and mother did. I think it's time that I will do the same for you and mother." Jeongsan said.

"What I wanted to say is that... I already refused their offer about the marriage. Well, they might attack us, but as a father, I should do anything for my son's happiness, right?" Jungkook said.

Jeongsan looks at his father, he started crying and hug him tight.

"T-thank you... dad." Jeongsan said.

When Jungkook heard the word, 'dad'. He was shocked, but felt happy that his son isn't scared or angry at him anymore.

"Dad... why don't you find your happiness too?" Jeongsan asked.

"What do you mean, son?" Jungkook asked.

"Find a woman that will make you happy?" Jeongsan said.

"Son... your mother is the only woman for me. My happiness is already right in front of me. As long as you are happy... I'm happy." Jungkook said.

Jeongsan just smiled at him.

"You know what? You're going to be late. So go to your room and prepare for school. Don't do anything stupid this time." Jungkook said with a smile.

"Dad! I just did that to save Areum and her friends, okay?! And it was just the first time, I just can't help seeing girls getting bullied, especially if boys do it to them." Jeongsan said.

"That's my boy, but next time, use your mouth and tell to your teachers, not your fist." Jungkook said.

"Yessss... You already told that for a million times now." Jeongsan said.

"I'm just reminding you, if your mom was here. She might have kick your b.u.t.t already." Jungkook said.

"Fine... I'm going up!" Jeongsan said and run to his room.

Jungkook was going to go upstairs, when someone messaged him. He read it and he was shocked.

Jungkook quickly run to his room and told him to meet up.

As soon as Jeongsan finished, he came down expecting his father to be there. But their maid said he already left. But Jeongsan was fine with it, he knows how busy his dad is. He get his car keys and drove to school. The crowd was getting bigger when he got out and park his car.

"O my gosh... He's so handsome like everyday. Just like his father." A girl said.

"He got everything, the looks, brain, behavior, and status. I never seen his mother, but I bet she's so beautiful." A guy said.

"Yah, I heard her mother died. That's why you never saw her attended any family activities here at school." A guy said.

Jeongsan looks down as he came closer to the guy who talks about his mother. The students started moving away, and got scared at his aura.

"What did you said?" Jeongsan asked.

"Said what-"

"I SAID WHAT DID YOU JUST SAID?! Are you new here?" Jeongsan asked, mad.

"No-"

"THEN YOU MUST HAVE KNOWN THAT I HATE SOMEONE WHO TALKS ABOUT MY PRIVATE LIFE! When I heard you talk about my mother again... you're dead." Jeongsan said.

He was going to leave, but someone suddenly pulls his ear and he started to shout in pain.

"AHHH... YAH! ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?!" Jeongsan shouted.

"That's what you get when you create a scene." Areum said.

"Create a scene?! But I never did anything!" Jeongsan said.

"Then what happened earlier? Is it a show?" Areum said and continued pulling his ear.

"Aish! Let go!" Jeongsan said.

They were arguing like a cat and do- I mean more like a cat and a bunny. But few seconds later, somebody caught everyone's attention.

"Yah! I don't care if your a new girl here, repay me for this!" A girl said.

They started bullying her and calling her names because of how she looked. Areum and Jeongsan felt sorry. Jeongsan was going to stop them, but Areum stops him.

"This is a girls' fight, I'll handle this." Areum said and she walks to them.
