Promise: Jungkook FF

When you arrive at the house, you quickly saw Jungkook coming out, he quickly open your car door and pull you into a tight hug.

"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN? NOT BEING ABLE TO SEE YOU IN THOSE 2 HOURS FELT LIKE HELL! I THOUGHT I'LL LOSE YOU AGAIN!" Jungkook shouted as he cried on your shoulders.

You quickly hug him back and pat him.

"I'm sorry for making you worried again. But I can't avoid it. I should do it for my family-"

"I shouldn't had listen to you. I should've stayed with you." Jungkook said.

You broke the hug and look at his eyes deeply.

"But I need you this time... I need you to protect our children. I know that I'm fighting to protect all of you, but what if someone suddenly attacked you while I was gone? I need someone that I really trust to take care of them. I NEED YOU." You said.

"We know how to fight. We know you know it too... but you're alone. We didn't have someone to help you when you need help. We didn't have someone to call to ask if you're fine. We didn't have someone to know if you need to leave again. Y/n, we know it's dangerous, we all know that we need to hide, we know that it's not safe, but we also know that this time...maybe at least this time, you should give us a chance to fight for YOU. You've been sacrificing for years, because of us... because of ME. Why don't you at least let ME help YOU?" Jungkook said, tears falling on his cheeks.

"JUST SHUT UP, Y/N! NO ONE WILL DIE! NO ONE IN THIS F*CKING FAMILY WILL DIE BECAUSE OF BULLETS! KNIVES! BOMBS!" Jungkook paused, wipe his tears off and sobbing.

"I'm the Father of this family, but why don't I feel it?" Jungkook asked, looking deeply into your eyes.

"You never broke your promise, gguk... I was the one who broke my promise... that's why you didn't need to prove it. You became a loving and faithful husband to me. You protected Jeongsan in those 18 years that I was gone. I haven't seen my family and the boys, but you protected them also. You just didn't know. Protecting is not just about physical. But also emotional... when I was gone, if you're not there for them, they might be still crying until I came back. Or worse, they might start harming themselves. But you protected them, by comforting them, even though you're the one who needs comfort. I will not change my mind, gguk. I can't." You said and cup his face as he continue to cry.

"I still have missions to accomplish. To prove that at least I've kept my promise to protect you and our family... until I die." You said.

Jeongsan comforts his younger sister as they see and heard the two of you fighting. The maids that was there with them earlier also heard and saw everything. They also cried, because they just knew and felt what you wanted to say, what you really felt. They understand that everything has something in exchange.

"Mom... dad... please stop. I know I'm being childish but... I don't want to see or hear you guys fight." Junghye said, crying.

You and Jungkook quickly hug Jeongsan and Junghye tight.

"No, honey. Me and your dad are not fighting. We just let our emotions and words go. Because we need to understand each other, to keep our family together." You said.

"But why does it sound like it?" Junghye asked.

"Maybe because we're shouting. But we don't hate each other, sweetie. We just care about each other. We will not question each other, if we didn't care." You said.

"Just like when we discipline you, it looks like we're mad. But we did that because we care about you, we want you to grow up knowing what's right from wrong. That's what are parents for. To guide and teach their children the right way." Jungkook said.

Instead of explaining again. You hug them tight.

"Let's just stop this, okay? The good thing is that we're complete. Let's be positive that nothing bad will happen." You said.

They respond to you by hugging you tight too. And Jungkook kisses your head and whispered.
