Queen Of Adis

"Everyone leave. Frost, come here and check her pulse." Adis snapped his commands, then turned to look at Haru dotingly. "My love, why don't you lay on the bed while Frost checks on your health, hmm? Here, let me help you."

The two Kings shook their heads at the blatant disparity in his treatment between Haru and them. They just silently walked out of the door before the Demon King decided to bite their heads off.

Once the unruly crowd vanished, Frost approached Haru on the bed. When he was about to hold the Queen's hand, he suddenly heard the King's roar.

"Wait!" Adis immediately yelled out when he remembered something. "She's n.a.k.e.d under her robe. I'll put some clothes on her first."

Frost furrowed his eyebrows. "Your Majesty, please forgive this servant's insolence, but as her doctor, I will speak my mind when it comes to Her Majesty's well-being. Although the Queen's pregnancy is still at the early stage, please refrain from shouting or make any noise that may cause agitation. The surroundings and the beings around a pregnant woman should be peaceful and calm."

If the mad scientist reprimanded the King of Umbra in an ordinary situation, the doctor's head would immediately roll-off, regardless of whether he was the General's fated mate or not. But since the situation was entirely for his wife and child's welfare, he accepted the scolding in good faith.

"I understand. I'm sorry, Haru, I didn't mean to startle you." He said as he gently c.a.r.e.s.sed her cheeks.

"It's okay. I was about to tell you as well that I need to wear something first before we proceed with the examination." Haru assured him and stood up.

When Adis followed him towards the walk-in closet like a lost puppy, she couldn't help but chuckle. "Adis, I am pregnant, not invalid. I can still walk on my own. Stop acting like I'm some kind of a fragile crystal that will break anytime."

"Are you not?" He asked back as though she was not aware of what she's truly made of.

"Of course not!" She chortled while repeatedly hitting his arms and shoulders.

"Hey, silly wife, I noticed that you're becoming violent lately," Adis commented but still welcome all her beatings. "I am willing to become a battered husband for you, but I'm worried that you might hurt yourself, instead."

Haru raised an eyebrow as she taunted him with both hands on her h.i.p.s. "Are you saying that I'm weak?"

Adis looked flabbergasted. "Hell no! You are the sole Queen of Adis and the most powerful being in the entire Trium Regum. If anyone dares to challenge your strength, your King will eliminate them at once."

She laughed out loud as she wrapped her arms around his thick neck and showered his chin and cheeks with small kisses.

He smiled lovingly as he hugged her small waist and h.i.p.s to support her posture while she's standing on her tippy toes.

"Adis... are you happy?" She nervously asked. She knew his unwillingness for her pregnancy, however, his happiness was really important for her too.

Adis tenderly kissed her forehead as he responded. "Being with you and loving you every day makes me the happiest man in the world. But to be honest, when I saw the mark on your abdomen, I suddenly felt myriads of emotions that I have never felt before. It's the first time for me to feel different emotions all at once; exhilarated and desperate, happy and scared, strong and weak. I am confused about my feelings at the moment, but one thing is for sure, Haru..." He emotionally gazed at her beautiful eyes as he c.a.r.e.s.sed her cheek softly. "I will protect our child the way I protect you. I will give him all that I have the way I always do for you. And... I will love him as much as I love you."

Haru bit her lips as her eyes welled up in tears. Her heart was swelling with so much love for this man that it hurts. Her throat constricted in pain as her lips lingered on his. "Adis... thank you."

Their sentimental moment was suddenly interrupted when they heard a fake cough from Frost. "I hate to spoil your lovey-dovey moment, Your Majesties, but in case you have forgotten, I am still here." He wittily exclaimed while leaning on the door frame with his back facing them. "I also would like to remind you that I am dying to start the physical examination now if it's not too much to ask."

Haru's face flushed and softly punched Adis on his c.h.e.s.t to conceal her embarrassment. "Right! I-I will be out in a jiffy." She hastily pulled a simple two-piece dress from her closet and finally walked out towards the bed.

Frost began checking her pulse as soon as she laid on the bed. At an early stage of pregnancy, it's difficult for ordinary doctors to determine her body's real state, but Frost was no ordinary doctor. Unbeknownst to the world, he had abilities that he normally used whenever he treated a patient; *psychometry and *auric sight. But to avoid further complications in his career, he decided to hide his abilities to anyone except to Graves.

After checking Haru's pulse, Frost slightly pulled up her top and looked at the mark on her abdomen. As he touched the mark, he closed his eyes and concentrated for a moment. When he opened his eyes again, his eyes shone at the unbelievable discovery. "The Delacroix curse is astonishing! So it's true, whoever touches their sacred form would be cursed by their seed forevermore." He whispered to himself, then face Haru with a radiant smile as he declared his findings. "Congratulations again, Your Majesty. A royal heir is coming soon.

Haru sat up on the bed and Adis swiftly placed two soft cushions on her back to help her sit comfortably.

The couple looked at each other with a smile on their faces. As she turned her attention to Frost, Adis gave her temple a soft peck.

"Your road to motherhood will be thorny and arduous. Will you continue your pregnancy?" Frost set her expectations to prepare her for the hardship she would be facing from here on out. He would like to know how determined she was on having a child.

Haru immediately hugged her stomach as though someone would hurt her baby. She glanced at Adis to ask for his support. When she saw him nodded assuringly, all her worries faded away. "I will not give up on my child no matter how hard and painful it would be. Adis and I will embrace this kind of adversary."

Frost nodded, truly satisfied with her answer. "I'm glad to hear that, Your Majesty. Even with many years of not practicing my profession legally, my abilities and knowledge did not decline. If anything, it even improved as I got to experience treating other species. Rest assured that you are in good hands. As long as you will not give up on living, then I promise that I will not give up on you, too."

Haru was moved by his words and said her thanks. "Thank you, Frost. My child and I will be in your care from now on."

"Now that we have confirmed your status. Let's talk about Dos and Don'ts of Pregnancy. First things first, let talk about s.e.x," Frost boldly declared.

"Are you going to say that s.e.x during pregnancy is not allowed?" Adis furrowed his eyebrows as he dreadfully asked the question.

"Of course not! There are a lot of benefits that a pregnant mother could get during s.e.x, so why stop the fun part?" Frost corrected Adis' misconception. "The fetus needs his father's eros to survive the harsh environment of the dark realm and the genes of the demon in his blood. The eros will also serve as his nutrients, just like how the Queen does whenever she absorbs the King's eros. Also, greater exposure to s.p.e.r.m would lower the risk of developing *Toxemia, a complication in pregnancy that may result in hypertension and the sudden swelling of the face, feet, and hands. The s.p.e.r.m also contains a protein that helps the pregnant woman's immune system. So even if the little prince will be absorbing the King's eros, just soaking Queen Haru's w.o.m.b with s.e.m.e.n would greatly help Her Majesty with pregnancy. The s.p.e.r.m could also alleviate morning sickness during the first trimester while s.e.x can ease the Queen's pain and discomfort which may result in good night sleep."

Haru's face and ears were scarlet red due to Frost's shameless lesson.

Despite not understanding numerous technical terminologies, Adis was amazed to find out how powerful s.e.x is. "Wow, I didn't know that s.e.x was that beneficial to pregnancy.

"There is a lot more, but it's more for labor induction. Since we'll be doing a surgical procedure on you, I shall only provide you with the things that you need to know." Frost intently looked at Adis. "Your Majesty, you need to be aware that a pregnant woman has an unstable emotional state due to the surge in hormones and change in her body. Please be more patient to her emotional needs. She must not be stressed in any way."

Adis had always been hands-on when it comes to Haru's needs so he firmly nodded his agreement.

Frost finally stood up to end their first session. "I shall take my leave now. I will come by again tomorrow to continue our lesson. When he reached the door, he made sure to leave them with some shameless remarks. "Oh, another good news, a pregnant woman has a heightened sensitivity, hence, the sensation and o.r.g.a.s.m during s.e.x would be more intense than usual." He grinned then winked before completely closing the door behind his back.

When the couple was left alone in their bedchamber Adis playfully poked the side of her waist, which caused her body to jolt.

"Kyaa!" She shrieked and slapped his delinquent hand. Her eyes narrowed at him as she gritted her teeth. "What are you doing?"

Adis grinned mischievously. "I'm just testing how s.e.n.s.i.t.i.v.e you are. Silly wife, now that we have determined the benefits of s.e.x, why don't we start practicing it right now?"
