"I think you are worrying for nothing, Zen." Aquarius sighed, trying to pacify his younger brother's emotion.

"Even you, Aqua? Big brother Adis thought the same, that's why he punished me for throwing a tantrum this morning. He thought it was worthless!" Zen felt wronged. He was just trying to protect his brother's marriage.

Aquarius looked at his younger brother helplessly. He knew what he was thinking and he also felt the same. He also wanted to protect his brother's only happiness, even if it means engaging in another war against the three realms. After all, their big brother did so many things for them.

Everyone may know the King of Umbra as cold and ruthless, but for Aquarius and Zen, he was more than just a big brother. He was also their parent and only family. To them, their big brother's happiness was also their happiness.

"Idiot," Adis' one-word reprimand to Zen.

Zen puffed his cheeks and pouted in frustration. "Hmph!"

"Zenzen, don't be mad." Haru ruffled his golden hair gently to pacify his emotion. "Popo is right. There's nothing to worry about."

Haru has a weird habit. She liked to give everyone, even a plant or flower, a pet name. She named Zen as Zenzen, while Aquarius as Popo.

Zen thought that it was embarrassing for a man to be called like that, but Aquarius thought it was cute. She's the only person in the entire realms who could call the great kings as such. Moreover, according to their big brother, whatever would make their sister-in-law happy, even if it means annihilating the entire realm, they must comply. Great thing their sister-in-law was a peace-loving and magnanimous person.

Haru started explaining the reasons to him one by one. "Think about it. If she'll be declared as a new oracle, there's no way the nobles and the church would allow for another holy maiden to live in the realm of darkness for the second time.

"If she'd be able to overcome that, she still won't stand a chance to get into MY dark palace. According to the marriage law of the three realms, a king can only have one queen. If in the event that the king would like to have a concubine, the king must get the consent of the queen, otherwise, the queen has the right to divorce the king. If that's what Adis want--"

"Impossible. You are bound to me for eternity." Adis calmly interrupted.

Haru proceeded after clearing her throat, "Now, IF she's able to pass the second hurdle, given that she's also human, she needs your blessings and Adis' eros to be able to live in the palace. Those gifts can only be given to one person unless she kills me--"

"She'll die before she could even think of it." Adis interrupted her again. His scowl deepened at her morbid thoughts.

"Lastly," she continued her explanation. "If by any stroke of miracle, she got the two blessings you gifted to me, she still needs eros. But it's a different story if Adis would willingly give--"

"Not gonna happen!" Adis strongly objected. "Do you not trust me?"

"Of course I trust you. You are the most possessive man and faithful husband I have ever met in my two lifetimes. That's why I am this confident, my dear." She answered with certainty. She then playfully winked and smiled at him.

"You idiot couple, are you really explaining the situation or just shoving dog food in our throat?" Zen grumpily asked.

Meanwhile, Aquarius was clapping in admiration. "Wow! Sister-in-law is really smart. Being young and in love is really amazing!"

"What are you, an old man?" Zen sneered.

Aquarius answered in a teasing manner. "Zenzen, we are centuries-old--"

"Aahh!" Zen screeched to shut him up. Age was a s.e.n.s.i.t.i.v.e topic to a handsome and delicate man like him. He suddenly changed the topic after laughing awkwardly. "So sister-in-law, are you going to the banquet in two days?"

"Of course. Besides, you two are correct. I've been in this realm for a while. It's about time to show myself and end the winter. I'm also curious to see what those geezers are up to this time." She stood up and stretched her body from her long sitting position.

"So, you think the new maiden is under the order of the elders?" Aquarius asked as he also analyzed the situation.

"Who knows," Haru shrugged and looked out the window. Her eyes sparkled in great anticipation. "Whether their purpose is to ruin my marriage or destroy the peace that the three of you established... we'll definitely find out soon enough."

Haru was looking out the window, busy admiring the breathtaking garden view below. She heard Adis' gentle footsteps and she closed her eyes when her beloved hugged her tightly from behind. He buried his nose on her nape and inhaled her scent.

Their visitors finally left, leaving the married couple to their own world again.

"Did you enjoy your time with your brothers?" She asked as she softly c.a.r.e.s.sed his silky hair.

"I prefer to stay in our chamber and watch over you." He answered against her skin.

She giggled at the ticklish sensation. She teased, "Nah, I know you miss them."

"Not as much as I miss you." He didn't deny nor admit her statement. "Not seeing you for just an hour feels like an eternity to me."

"Fufu, my, my... what a sweet talker you are." Haru intertwined their fingers as she continued. "I think this year's spring banquet will be interesting, don't you think?"

"Troublesome," he lazily answered. "...But, I have prepared entertainment for you."

Haru shifted her neck to look at him "Oh, you already guessed that I will attend the banquet?"

"Trouble always attracts you. Might as well make sure it's under my careful watch."

"You spoil me too much," she giggled. "Have you seen the new oracle?"

"She would never become the new oracle."

"Eh? So you already made your move this early? Geez, I thought I could still play around." She pouted cutely.

"You should only focus on me," he whispered, l.i.c.k.i.n.g and biting her earlobe.

Adis' naughty hands started to work around her body. His right hand was massaging her left b.r.e.a.s.t and his left hand traveled down south, feeling her s.e.n.s.i.t.i.v.e area against her dress.

Haru gasped in delight. His cold hands really worked magic on her body even with her dress on. "Ngh, I don't think we are in the right place, Adis."

"We are in my study chamber. We can do whatever we want here. No one will disturb us." He urged her.

His hands moved fast. Without her noticing, he already pulled her dress down on her waist, exposing her smooth and fair c.h.e.s.t. The marks he left on her skin last night were still beautifully visible. Adis' eyes narrowed and burned from intense passion.

Adis turned her around to face him, held her firm b.u.t.t.o.c.k.s and lifted her with ease. Haru automatically crossed her legs around his waist. His movements were hurried yet sure and gentle as if she's a fragile precious crystal.

Haru, on the other hand, yelped and giggled playfully. She loved being in his strong arms, enjoying the sight of his hard muscles flexed with his every move.

They took their time on silently looking at each other's faces and staring at each other's eyes as if their eyes and smiles were enough to express their true feelings for each other. Then, their lips finally met in a soft and sweet kiss. They both m.o.a.n.e.d in delight when their lips touched as if they finally found an oasis after years of thirst.

The sweet kiss became sensual, igniting the flame that they held for each other. Adis gently parted her lips with his tongue to taste the inside of her sweet mouth. Haru welcomed the assault as he s.u.c.k.e.d her tongue hungrily.

Haru cupped his cheeks with her warm hands as she responded to his kisses with equal intensity. She was glad that he was currently carrying her, otherwise, her knees would have buckled at the first contact of their lips. Their m.o.a.ns, pantings and the l.e.w.d sound of their open-mouthed kiss echoed throughout the room.

Adis carefully deposited her on his study table, toppling the doc.u.ments that Fang painstakingly organized.

He ripped the hem of her long, elegant dress. The tearing sound excited both of them. "Are you still sore, my love?"

"Hmm... a bit."

"Show it to me. Here, let me pull your u.n.d.e.r.w.e.a.r off." Adis was using his sultry voice to his advantage, bewitching his prey to do all his bidding.

After tossing her u.n.d.e.r.w.e.a.r, He c.a.r.e.s.sed her t.h.i.g.hs, silently persuading her to open it and expose herself to him.

"No, it's embarrassing. It's still too early, you'll see me clearly." She closed her t.h.i.g.hs tightly.

He softly chuckled at her lame excuse. "Silly wife. What else you could hide from me. I've already seen everything..." He leaned closer and whispered against her lips, while his middle finger was persistently inserting itself between her t.h.i.g.hs. "I already tasted and ate every part of your body, and yet... I couldn't get enough of you."

He then licked her lips. His eyes were l.u.s.tfully looking at her dark orbs, enticing her to submit.
