"KILL IT!" as John began his attack, his loud beckoning voice as he jolted everyone awake from their trance.

Everyone knew that they had to go all out, but the fear of dying during the battle made them stop in their tracks and hesitate.

Though those few minutes were more than enough for the level 5 zombie to jump out front and kill 5 ability users from a single strike. Though it wasn't really fast, it was still a little beyond the normal humans.

Their total headcount was steadily reduced to a mere 10(including Tiffany and John).

The situation was getting dire as some of the survivors tried crawling away in desperation. They couldn't really be blamed for it though, it was always a human instinct to try to survive no matter what.

Only a few remained calm enough to continue attacking the level 5 zombie, there were only 2 besides John and Matthew with a clear enough head to know that if they did not do anything, everyone would die regardless of how hard they would struggle.

Timothy, of course, was one of the rare two other than the Main characters who dared to play with death as he immediately made strong spikes from the ground.

Using the earth would be useless seeing the giant's massive strength and sometimes offense would be the best defense as well.

So why not just use the strong spikes to defend, the zombie was also smarter than to let himself get injured unnecessarily just to kill off an ant or two.

Hannah stood next to Timothy in the back as she healed off those who survived the attacks from the level 5 zombie while Timothy defended her and the wounded.

John and Matthew each held off the zombies well. Only thing was that Matthew seemed to be able to handle the zombie well while John was starting to look fatigued.

That was bad and the zombie was at most damaged by 10% from their combined efforts.

The morale was also plummeting for those who were weaker. Despair could be seen in the eyes of the injured as well as unwillingness. They were only invited to this B class excursion. Who knew that there were so many hidden dangers riddled in this mission.

If they knew then they would have chosen a different mission. Even though they were not the strongest, they could still be pretty well off with their level of strength. But now they were here instead, uncertain if a single person could even survive.

While everyone was busy fighting, no one but John noticed a petite figure heading towards where the level 5 zombie came from.

Just as everything was going well, things started heading south when the zombie began ignoring John and Matthew to attack Hannah who had been tasked with healing everyone.

It broke through the defenses with its bare fists and shove its hand of death towards Hannah. Her heart turned cold at the sight of the fist.

The pain that she had expected did not reach her, instead, she saw a figure in front of her spewing blood over as he landed on his knees before falling towards her.

Leaving her in a blank state, staring widely at the collapsed figure. With a surging feeling blooming in her mind. While her heart turned to be as cold as ice
