It's been a day after I used the Resurrection skill on Fleur. As a result of that, only 3 more Resurrection is available. But I don't regret it one bit.

I take a look at Fleur, who is smiling almost perfectly.

So cute. Yep.

I was a bit worried about the side effects of the skill so I had her rest for the rest of the day.

All to my surprise, it looks like they can measure the day using a magic tool inside the hall. It's fixed on the wall just above where the throne is placed.

From what it looks like, I can only say that it's a Crysaztel powered hour glass. The hour glass has the size of a standard refrigerator that has a double door. One rotation counts an exact hour.

The liquid inside is separated into two divisions that counts as day and night. When it's night time, the liquid falls down on the right partition. When it's daytime, the liquid falls down on the left.

It's a real wonder how the person who made this came up with it. And how it works, too.

Anyways, based from it and according to Purin's instruction, it should be a day after her Master was resurrected. It's really convenient to know the exact time of the day. I also learned that this world has a surprising 28 hours a day. That's 4 hours more than Earth's.

[Hmm…]

It was one hectic turn of events, though, when Purin woke up. She bombarded us with questions and eyes of disbelief. She herself even thought that she also died along with her Master and that it was fine for her even if it was indeed the case.

Such loyalty, indeed.

Well after a much tiresome explanation, it got through her and accepted the fact that her Master did indeed come back from the dead. Purin asked me how I did it, but I just gloss it over by saying that it was her Master's will to live that made it possible.

It looked like she bought it for now and damn, that was troublesome.

Back to present, I was thinking about what to do from now on. Just like I thought, I still think that I shouldn't stay in one place as much as possible. I'm still worried about something. And if my worry is true, then there's no time for me to be here.

Just in time then, Fleur woke up and here we are right now.

[I'll go now. Like I said, I can't have myself stay at one place for too long.]

Fleur: "Do you… have somewhere to go too…?"

[Hmm… Kind of. Or like, I'll go wherever the wind takes me for now. You don't have to worry about it. Purin. Make sure you protect your Master from now on.]

Purin: "Hmph. Thou shan't hath tell Purin."

I know there's no need to ask, but… Purin really does hate my guts, huh? Well, whatever.

Oh right, I asked earlier but… The slimes I was fighting earlier? It looks like they were just parts of Purin. Uh… Kind of a like a separated will to act on their own? Maybe that's why they're quite strong for a slime.

I was simply dancing on top of her palm, I guess. Ugh.

I turn around to go my way, but I was halted by Fleur. She has her hands placed on top of her c.h.e.s.t, wearing a serious expression on her face. Just from that alone, I can already guess what she's about to say. Nonetheless, I waited for her words.

Fleur: "… Uhm…"

[Hm?]

It's sort of nerve-wracking…

Fleur: "… Take me with you!"

She said so while curling her hands into fist and held them close to her c.h.e.s.t.

Purin: "Milady?? What in the world art thou saying, purin??"

[Sure.]

Fleur: "I-I see… You cannot no matter wha-… Eh? Pardon…? Uhm… What did you…?"

[I said, sure. I mean, why not?]

I was actually expecting her to say that. And I've decided that it's a much better choice to bring her along. I've considered a lot of things, and the situation has changed. There's no reason for me to refuse her anymore.

Fleur: "Uhm… I was the one who asked, but… Are you really sure?"

[Yeah, sure. I see no problem right now in taking you alone. Besides, I'm actually thinking that it's better for us to be together from now on.]

Fleur: "…? What do you mean…?"

[I'll explain it to you later. For now, I want you to prepare for departure.]

From those words alone, I see her face brighten up instantly. There was no need for me to read into her expression to see how she's actually feeling. I bet she's happy now that there's still a continuation in her life.

After a cute nod, she went back to where the throne was fixed and packed her things in what seem like a medium sized pouch.

Are those clothes? Quite a lot to bring, huh? I guess, I'll just use my Storage later.

Phew.

… This is for the best.

After much deliberation, I've decided with that conclusion.

I'm sure it's a wonder why me, who was just thinking that it should be better to travel alone, is now saying things like this.

But while Fleur was sleeping, I checked up on a lot of things about the Resurrection and how it affected both of us. There's also the case about that Soul Link.

I know it's a bit selfish of me, but I activated Soul Lin out of curiosity. Well, it doesn't give off a negative vibe in it, and it looks like it's not something to be wary off.

So, yeah. I sort of accidentally and unintentionally, again, unintentionally said 'Yes' while looking at the screen.

… Don't blame me, please. It's not like I was tempted by the 'Master and Servant' pact or anything. Don't misunderstand me, please.

And so, what happened surprised me and left me in disbelief.

See? Look at my CG and Magical Attack. My CG went from 241 to 5,941 and my Magical Attack went from 86 to 481. That simple 'Yes' alone lead to this. Lead to this unbelievable leap in status points.

Anyways, let's look at the Titles.

(Demon Lord)

I became the Demon Lord… I don't know how but I can only assume that it's because I linked my soul to the current Demon Lord, which in this case, is Fleur. Well, it turned out that I 'also' became the Demon Lord because of the Link.

Has there ever an instance where there are two Demon Lords in the same era, I wonder. From the books that I have read, usually there are only one. If the current Demon Lord is defeated, then only a new Demon Lord is born.

But this time, I'm also a Demon Lord. Why do I know that Fleur is the Demon Lord?

That's because I analyzed her, of course.

Her skills aside, her titles are one that will catch anyone's attention. One look and you can already see what this girl went through and how she lived.

Just how tormented was she before coming here, I wonder… I can't fathom.

What would you have to bear to acquire these titles while having the title (Gentle Heart)? What was she feeling? What was she thinking? While killing everything in her path, how did she face these truths?

Well… She couldn't. That's why she has willingly accepted her death, after all.

But… Her status really says a lot.

Not to mention her CG and Magical Attack. They're way beyond my reach! Well, I got stronger from the Link, but they're still higher than mine.

About the Soul Link. Just like what it says in its description, it shares a portion of the linked to the linker. But that doesn't mean that I will receive the actual status points. It just halves the value of the linked's Magical Attack and Crysaztel Gauge, and add that value to my status. But the linked's status will remain the same.

And as for why only Magic Attack and Crysaztel Gauge, I assume that only the Soul is linked. As a result, only status that is related to the soul is linked. That is – Magic Attack and Crysaztel Gauge.

As for my Crysaztel Gauge, I guess it was also affected by the linked. It also raised its percentage after all.

But now that I'm looking at it, my CG rose from before. It has reached more than half of Fleur's CG that should be shared to me. Fleur's CG is 9,100. At first I only received around 4,500 or so, but now I got more than that.

It has stopped in its current value, though.

But I wonder what's with the sudden rise even after the Link was established? It feels like I've been getting more CG from Fleur, which is then released by me one way or another.

Hmmm…

Right. Another new stuff in the status is the <Link>.

Well, it's self-explanatory so I didn't have to think about it that much. Only, I'm not sure about the percentage after the Link Status. The only think I know is that we are perfectly linked because it shows '100%.'

Anyways.

To sum it up, I got myself a Demon Lord as a servant and my Magic abilities got boosted.

Nice, very nice. Yesterday was a good day, aside from the fact that I was almost killed.

So going back. Now that we're linked, there's no need to think about any other consequences here. Even though I wanted to travel alone, I feel like it won't be that bad if it's with this girl.

Maybe… It's an effect of the Soul Link.
