It's time for me to practice once again. It's nighttime according to Purin, so it's time for Fleur to sleep. As for me, I use this time, as usual, to train.

Fleur: "Ah… Ciel, are you going tonight as well?"

Fleur has been comfortable with me ever since we talked about her mother. It has been three days since then. I no longer see her getting fl.u.s.tered over my voice, which is definitely a good thing. Moreover, I feel like she has been a lot more open to me than ever.

It's a good thing, is all I see about it.

Ciel: "Yeah. I have to master this body as soon as possible. We can't have unexpected dangers coming our way without me being able to fight after all."

Purin: "Hmph! Purin will be enough, purin."

Ciel: "Hohoh~ That's right, isn't it? Ahaha."

I stood up from my seat, which was also prepared by Purin. She made them when we departed and is usually stored using my Storage skill. She has her own Storage skill, but I insisted.

She really is a jack of all trades.

Purin: "Of course, Purin is. Purin is amazing, after all, purin."

Ciel: "Don't read my mind."

Just like that, she can also guess what someone is thinking.

I get scared of her from time to time, but I trust her enough for me to sleep peacefully while she's guarding us. Well there's also her master to consider, so I believe she won't do anything that may harm Fleur.

Fleur: "Uhm… When will you come back?"

But no matter how much we talk and get closer, she still won't tell me anything about her usual blushing and sweating, as if she's enduring something.

Ciel: "I guess, I'll be out for about 3 hours. I'll be back by then."

It's 23:00 right now, which means it's already evening.

I still can't get used to the day being four hours longer than what I'm used to. We usually sleep at around 25:00 to wake up at 5:00 the next day for an early start. But at the moment, I'm using that quality time for me to train and consume more monsters for more skills.

I don't need to sleep because of my skill, but it's just something I want to do as a person.

Who hates sleep, anyways? Sleep is life. Ahaha~

Fleur: "Mm. Okay."

Fleur nodded as she usually does whenever she asks something and I answer. But this time, again, she's flushed like a tomato. Breathing raggedly, and sweating profusely.

Well as expected, I'm already getting used to it by now. I'm starting to think that that's just how Fleur's face is. Or like, that's just how she functions.

I don't feel any discomfort through the Link or anything, but… That persistent tingling I've been feeling whenever she blushes is something I can't shake off no matter how I try.

With her eyes dazed, she looks at me, waiting for me to go.

I guess I should.

Purin's here. If she wants something, I think it would be easier for her to ask Purin instead of me.

Ah, right. Whenever we take a break for nighttime, Purin will make a fairly comfortable shelter from the wall. She digs through it and uses her magic to make the necessary improvements.

So right now, we are staying at an artificially made room.

Kuh…

I didn't know you can use magic like that. Magic is only not based on the skill, but is also applicable with certain specific actions. For example, Purin can use Grudan Magic to dig through the wall that is made up of earth.

I'm really bummed when I learned that.

I mean… I can't use any magic now, can I?

Nevermind. What happens, happens. It happened and that's it. There's no use crying of spilt milk. Yeah.

I'm now somewhere I don't know. Well, I use my Detect skill as map so I won't be lost no matter where I'll go. I can just use Fleur and Purin's pointer as a marker. It's not like I know where I am right now even though I don't know the way. But I, at least, know that I'm still inside the mountain range.

Hmhm. No matter how many times I see that Magically Inept Title, I still get annoyed by it. Well, it's true so I can't say anything back. Not like I have someone to talk back to, anyways.

In the span of that three days, I've tested and tried everything that I have in my skill, and there seems to be no problem with them in terms of activation. Mostly, skills that are seems to be not appropriate for my current body.

For example, even though I have a physical body right now, I can still use Intangible and Float. I can float like usual and be intangible like I was. It's convenient since these are two of the skills that saved me most the time, especially Intangible. And there's also Reflect, by the way.

However, this time, whenever I use Soul Consume, there's no way for me to rush towards the opponent and enter its body like before. I now have a physical body, after all. I must touch the target first to consume its soul. With my hand, of course.

About the Possess skill, on the other hand, it seems like I have to leave my physical body first to possess someone. I almost let my body be eaten alive when I tested it, though… That was a crazy experience.

As for the Liquid Body skill, I can turn into the same form as I did when I first tried the skill. It's like I can turn into a ball of slime whenever I use it. It's convenient when I need to enter small crevices. Then I can just turn it off to return to my physical body.

Next, I tried using Divine Soul and tested its duration and effect. For the most part, its duration is only around two hours.

Once activated, I can't deactivate it and have to wait for that two hour duration for it to deactivate by itself.

Also, I can only use once a day. If I try to use it for the second time, it'll use my CG as its fuel. It's not that bad if you think about it, but the worst part about that is the speed of the CG consumption. It only needs half an hour just drain my CG to the bottom. It deactivates when it gets to 1, but…

After that, I can't move. It's too risky to use it more than once.

Other than that, the strength that it gives is really a must have. I can punch a hole, with the size of a small house, on the wall with it.

Steel Hide and Enchanted Hide. For that dog x lion kind of monster, it appears to be thick scales partly covering its fur. But in my case, my skin only turns steel hard whenever I activate it. No changes in appearance, except for the unusual gloss.

For Paralyzing Skin, my skin will release some kind of liquid as if I'm sweating. And anyone who touches it gets paralyzed. I wasn't able to use it before when I was a ghost, since I didn't have the necessary organ for it.

For the Leg Strength Enhancement, I can finally use it now that I have a leg. To put it simply, I can now run even more faster and jump even more higher. My kick can even punch through a hole on the wall with the size of large house.

Mufufu.

ONE KIIIIIIIIIIIIICK!

I didn't have any way to use Soul Cleanse, since I'm not really sure what it cleanses. The description only says that it removes any impurities from the target's soul. For Soul Drain, I can drain the soul of the target and use it as my own CG. Basically, I drain the target's CG and make it mine.

As for the Ignite. I got it from a monster that uses its teeth to ignite a flame and then produces a fire breath to attack. I tried using my teeth (I looked like an idiot biting the air out of nothing) but to no avail.

But then…

*snap*

I used my fingers to snap and boom! The friction between my fingers created a combustion. Though, that's it. It only lasts an instant. So right now, I'm thinking of a way to utilize it better.

But then again… It's so cool. Snapping my fingers and creating a combustion out of it. Mufufufu. I'm so cool.

Again!

*snap*

I snapped, followed by a burst of sudden flame from between my fingers. But to my surprise, the sleeve of my robe caught on the fire.

I hurriedly cut it from somewhere that hasn't yet caught on fire. The piece of cloth fell down on the ground, still burning ever so brightly.

Ciel: "Oohh… This is…!"

It's not burning. It's just ablaze. But the cloth is not burning and turning into an ash.

Hohoh… I see, I see.

Oh well.

That's about it for my skills.

At any rate, I also tried practicing with this body. I'm doing that again right now.

At first, it was hard to move as I am still not used to it. Jumping and running at full speed already takes more than half of my focus. But after getting used to it, it got even better than what I had before coming to this world. No, it's unbelievably different.

For example, my balance. Because of my tail, I can easily balance myself without moving my arms or shifting my body weight. I can just move my tail to a direction where it will balance my center of gravity. As a result, quick jumping from one place to a high ground has become an easy feat.

I'm now a ninja. Nin nin.

I guess there's also my speed and strength to thank for.

Ciel: "Phew. It really feels good moving one's body."

It never felt like this whenever I move when I was still an Apparition Type.

If I try to place just fifty percent of my strength on my legs, I feel like I can break the Guinness World Record without breaking a sweat. My vertical jump would reach somewhere around the sixth or seventh floor of a building. It was really hard to get used to it, because of that.

Well, I still can't measure it precisely since this place is not the suitable place to test it, being it a cave and all.

As a result of those unbelievable feats that I can do with ease, it registered to me that I'm no longer a human.

Can't be helped, though.

It's a bit baffling to think about, but it's not like it's a bad thing. I'm getting even more excited, if anything.
