Fleur tilted her head in inquiry.

I have already explained the circ.u.mstances to Fleur, about how she feels like calling me 'Master' is the most natural thing to do in the world.

It was because of the Soul Link.

Per stated in the description of the Soul Link skills, it says that the linked will be bound to the linker by a Master-Servant pact. That's why, Fleur naturally feels like it's normal to call me or treat me as her master.

In contrast to what I was expecting, she was even delighted about it. I don't think that her mind is affected by the skill, since there's nothing that may indicate that kind of manipulating through the Link.

Anyways, if you're wondering why we are spending our precious time training instead of travelling, the answer is simple. Purin's estimation included the time for taking the routes to avoid the Evil God.

But well, unfortunately fortunately, we encountered the Evil God right away, as if it's anticipating our arrival.

So there goes the estimated time of Purin to avoid the Evil God. Now, we're just traversing the common route to leave this place as soon as possible. Purin says we only need a bit more than week to get out of here.

So here we are, taking our time since we have nothing else to do anyways. I'll be training Fleur during our break and sometime during the actual travel.

Before, Fleur usually steps back to avoid being a hindrance whenever a fight breaks out with monsters. Now, I can make her fight instead, as a pretense for training.

This is convenient, to be honest. I plan to train myself anyways, testing the limits of my Psyche skill. But now that I can watch over Fleur while training her and train for myself.

It's three birds in one stone. Mufufu.

Fleur: "Well then, Master. What is the first step?"

Hm. Looks like Purin will give up for now, I see. Also, Fleur is really into it. It's kind of nerve wracking when she expects something from me like this, though.

So let's go with the details.

Ciel: "Look at your status."

I activated Analyze and pass it through the Link for her to see her own status.

Ciel: "I've already explained the effects of most skills and Titles right? Well, in your case, the only Skill and Titles that has a status bonus effect are the skill Enchant, the Demon Lord Title, Judgement Title, and Demi Slayer."

Hearing the last title had her gone dejected, but she then shook her head and looked straight at me once again with a resolved expression on her face.

I explained but Fleur tilted her head in confusion.

Ciel: "From my experience, there are skills that gives you bonus status points, which are the Physical and Magic Attack, Physical and Magical Defense, and Agility. These skills give you the bonuses every time you level up. But in your case, you leveled up before acquiring them. You know what that means?"

Fleur: "Uhm… That means I leveled up without getting those bonus status points."

Ciel: "Correct. And your level is already 62. Ah, by the way. Do you know what the maximum level is?"

Fleur: "Ah. It is up to level 100."

Hmhm. I see, I see. Just as I thought. So she's already past half of the maximum value. That's a lot of wasted levels more than I expected. And from the looks of things, it's getting much harder for me to level up, where I'm still only level 46.

If I focus enough, I can feel or envision a thread-like connection that leads to somewhere from inside the darkness. The thread grows out of my c.h.e.s.t. I think that the end of the thread is Fleur's soul.

To begin with, I can activate Analyze and pass it to her. That means, there's a chance that she can also use the skill Analyze. But Analyze is a Personal Skill. That means, it's something that only I can use.

Maybe that's why the Analyze skill can't be registered as hers and appear on her skill list even though she uses it.

But what if…

I put my focus on my Passive Skill Magic Damage.

How do I focus on it?

I just think of the skill of course. Well, to be honest I'm just grasping in the dark. I'm not really sure about what I'm doing right now. I'm just doing something-ish here.

I'm not really sure, it's just… I feel like I know what I'm doing.

First, I register the name of the skill in my mind.

A felt a click in my head. Just like when I activate a skill. Hmhm. So far, so good.

Next, I envision the description of the skill. Lastly, I imagine the effect it gives me. It enhances my magic abilities and grants me additional damage for Magical Attack.

After doing so, somehow or another, a small orb appeared in the darkness.

I guess this is the skill's manifestation? Or am I just seeing things?

I slowly opened my eyes and felt a sudden warmth. Fleur seems to have felt it as well, as she held her arm to confirm, wearing a surprised expression all the while.
