Adam is currently staring at a glass flask with a blue liquid with an overjoyed expression.

"Finally.." Says Adam while picking the potion up to inspect it. Words appeared in his vision

Adam purchased the potions ingredients and other necessary things for 1 silver. They were cheap like that because the most expensive ingredient was the blood of a low-ranked magical beast which he already had and the rest were some herbs and grass, and he borrowed a cauldron from the inn, the inn owner was pretty amiable.

Too bad things don't keep going smoothly like that, and he failed the first time he tried to make the potion. He cut the ingredients like in the recipe and put them in the water in order, the blood of the magical beast as the last as it dissolves the ingredients and changes the liquid colour, if the liquid became blue it is a success. The liquid became green with some green smoke coming out of it.

After hurriedly bringing the cauldron to the window and letting the smoke stops coming out of it, he corrected what he thought it was his error the next try and really succeeded. The result was a dark blue liquid which was enough to fill six glass flasks.

"Weren't potions a little too easy to make? mages must roll in money like that." Adam doesn't know but his performance in making the potion was the same as someone who concocted mana potions all his life and was some years without making it. The recipe he bought from the system wasn't some simple recipe, a normal apprentice would fail countless times before having a 30% chance of success, showing how much money learning alchemy burns.

Adam sighed a little and rested in his bed asking the system to show his status.

Adam gained 200 points because he created a new spell derived from Fireball(150) and improved Mana Bullet(50), making it rotate at high speed improving its attack power.

The new spell he discovered he named it Fire Emission because all that it does is emit fire like a flamethrower from his staff.

He discovered it by instead of forming the fire in a ball shape, he just converted the mana into the fire without forming anything, it is faster than fireball but the range and damage are limited.

"So what do I buy.." Said him while rolling the spells category like a smartphone.

He stopped in a certain fire spell, Ring of Fire.

It forms a fire ring with the mage in the centre and anything inside it will receive fire damage. It's power its not considered much because mages have stuff like mana shield that prevents the fire from reaching the mage and they mainly attack from long distances but it's another history with martial artists.

Martial artists, at least Martial Apprentices, need to approach the target to attack it and they don't have anything like mana shield so they need to bear it with their bodies.

And Ring of Fire power and range will increase with the mage power. It's not really powerful in one versus one but it can make crowds of weaklings useless.

Adam purchased it for 200 points while feeling sad that he returned to 0 points mark. Then he remembered that he needs to do something with the rest of the money.

Adam only has some coppers now. if he uses it to live in the hotel he can live without problems considering his daily income, but he needs to make potions.

Adam suddenly hit his forehead with his palm with an enlightened expression.

"That's right, potions....".

He thought of selling potions in a stall.
