Rebellious Path

As I picked up the reins, my body moved on its own! It was as if I have been a coachman for years! With an awkward smile, I looked at Farah beside me, who had a very attractive astonished face. Her face seemed to be tinted with a slight shade of pink as she looked away and started to breathe a bit... raggedly.

I flicked the reins a little bit causing the horses to neigh as they started to move. The rhythmic galloping sounds of their hooves were like a beat of some music, which made me smile, clearly satisfied, whilst the horses ran. I just continued holding on to the reins as I spoke, "So, which direction is this Vlanreist's Grand Dungeon?"

Farah just pointed at a certain direction and she was... very quiet for a fact. She just responded with some, "hmm"s, "fumu"s, and other sounds just as it is, and boy, was it cute. I was completely satisfied as we rode along the path unto the grand dungeon.

Well, if I might say so myself, this wasn't... a really short journey, in fact, it was so long, the quietness has just taken over all of us. We headed out in the morning and now... it's already sundown... I then turned to look inside and saw Elena, Elanor, and Rina, with their heads resting on each other's shoulders.

I really couldn't help but smile as I looked at them who was sleeping peacefully due to exhaustion. I then turned around to look at Farah beside me who had hazy eyes as she leaned her back against the wooden back. I then thought of laying down camp, but then, I just asked Farah, so at least they would be comfortable.

"Should I set up camp here? or should I find a small village we can stay in...", Farah just simply yawned cutely as she said with a small and cute voice, "We have been camping for many years... and the nearest village is still far away... We have a storage area at the back... and there are tents and beds there... fuuh...", ahh, she already fell asleep. I should make a camp right now.

With a slight pull of the reins, the horses neighed as they stopped moving. With a simple jump, I got out of the seat and looked at the back of the carriage. All was ready, from tents to... foldable beds? This is quite a discovery! I wouldn't have thought about that.

It seemed as if they used some kind of manipulated space magic to fit all of these items in such a small space. It shouldn't be normal space magic as it felt too off from the space magic I've been used too. I just simply shrugged as the owls started to sound throughout, it was getting really dark if I might say so myself.

I just simply cast a light spell to illuminate the surroundings as I picked up the tents and... there were only two tents... I guess I won't sleep tonight? As long as they're safe, I don't really care, to be honest. I just simply prepared the tents and placed beds inside, no problems.

As everything was ready, I looked at the four of them and just simply gazed at their peaceful faces. With a slight smile, clearly glorified and satisfied by such a scene, I decided not to wake them up and just simply carried them one by one to the tents.

I decided the placements with Elena and Farah on one tent and Elanor and Rina on the other tent. I laid them down on their beds carefully to avoid them from waking up and breaking those beautifully peaceful sleeping faces, and I simply backed off the tent and grabbed a couple of pieces of firewood, and made a campfire.

With a small ignition of fire using fire magic, the campfire was easily ready to use and I just sat down at the steps of the carriage. Just as I sat down, I started to think deeply. I pulled the right sleeve of my clothes up to my elbow and started to look at the tattoo that was engraved upon it. Yes, as you may have thought, this was the weapon that I got... and it seemed to have a connection with... time.

With a simple thought of opening the weapon section of my status, the panel instantly appeared before me.

As I read through it, I squinted my eyes in confusion. How can I master the time element if I don't even know how to use it? And the most important question, how can I even use the weapon if I don't know how to take it out? huh?

Just as I thought about that, the tattoo started to glow with a peculiar light... It seemed really bright of the eyes, but it also seemed so dark that I was able to stare at completely. The chains started to materialize and started to wrap around my hand and in a couple of seconds, it completely materialized including the cross-shaped blade or dart of some sort.

'The blade seemed to just appear out of nowhere... so that's what the unhindered speed meant...', if it was that fast, then no one could probably dodge it? right? But I must be cautious, because everything is possible, even if it's a wonder.

Since the girls were already soundly sleeping, I simply stared at the tents as I cast a barrier to protect them from monsters as I decided to hunt some monsters. With a slight jump, I used air magic to make me levitate along with the skies as I wanted to train the elements that I currently have, except for that single unknown one.

'My space magic is just level ten, I should really train it', I started to scout for some monsters to attack so that I can use them for my training. Just then, an alert notification panel suddenly appeared before my own very eyes... Well, isn't this useful, I don't need to search thoroughly for enemies.

This is indeed very useful! As soon as I saw the monsters, I swooped from the skies and initiated an attack on the monsters right before me. As soon as they noticed my presence, they instantly turned aggressive as they tried to attack me. Unfortunately for them, they were too weak.

With simple teleportation, I arrived behind the back of what seemed to be their leader, and of course, that was the mutated ogre. The mutated ogre was dumbfounded from my disappearance and was shocked to feel my presence behind him. I just simply laughed lightly as I held the cross-shaped blade on my hand and whipped it using the chains to slice the head of the mutated ogre off.

It screeched in pain... no, it didn't even have enough time to screech in pain as its vocal cord was completely sliced perfectly along with the head. Though indeed, the other monsters clearly showed their fear as they started to run away, though, I'm not that stupid to let my experience points go.

I teleported right before them and started to kill them all one by one. They seemed to have realized that they couldn't escape so they started to retaliate. Unfortunately for them, it was impossibly, no matter what.

And I did find more, though, all of them were really easy kills, I then decided to look at my status once again.

"I guess continuously using space magic makes me increase the magic level, that's really useful, I suppose", with a satisfied smile on my face, I looked at the corpses of the monsters before me and simply smiled as I burned them to ashes.

Without any further notice, I teleported back to the camp in a single instant as it was almost dawn already, only a couple minutes left before daybreak. Of course, I was not tired at all as a simple all-nighter can't possibly give me exhaustion. And I still have [Instant Recovery], am I right?

Well, as soon as they wake up, we should really continue in our journey to this "Grand Dungeon", I really want to see a real-life dungeon! I've never seen one before my very eyes, after all, heck these monsters are almost new to me, well, I say almost because a lot of the people back at earth have mutated to become a half-monster, half-human breed.

I simply sat down beside the campfire once again as I waited for the beautiful maidens to wake up from their rest with a smile attached to their faces.
