Rebirth: A Woman With Frozen Heart

As Ming Yue walked through the front door, a voice called out to her.

"Little Yue." Grandpa Wu caught up to her, "I don't where you are going to go but be careful."

Ming Yue curled up her smile, knowing the meaning behind her grandfather's words. Looked like she couldn't hide anything from him.

"I just want to have a talk but if the other party doesn't want to listen then.. it can't be helped." Ming Yue shrugged, looking helpless.

Grandpa Wu chuckled seeing the attitude of his new granddaughter. She had the attitude of an a.d.u.l.t despite being 15 years old and it was because her soul was not the soul of 15 years old girl. "Don't forget to bring along your guardians." He reminded, hoping that she didn't settle this on her own.

"And if there is something wrong, this grandpa will help you." Grandpa Wu said and touched her head gently.

Ming Yue smiled brightly, like a beautiful moon shone in the dark sky. "Thank you, Grandfather."

"Mm." Grandpa Wu replied with a gentle hum before he watched Ming Yue's back as she walked to gate. A helpless sigh escaped his lips as he watched Ming Yue disappeared beyond the gate.

How he wanted this little girl to live a normal life but from the moment he knew about her reincarnation and her power, Grandpa Wu understood that heaven had another plan for the girl. He just hoped that heaven wasn't so cruel to reincarnate her only to give her another harsh life.

Ming Yue headed to bus station but on the way, two black vans stopped abruptly and group of thugs came out of it. They blocked the path Ming Yue was taking and from among them, a man stepped forward. Ming Yue recognized him as the leader who visited Uncle Chu's restaurant yesterday. Yes.. that man was An Wu.

"What do you want? Attacking me on broad daylight?" Ming Yue asked coldly, a mocking smile appeared on her beautiful face.

An Wu narrowed his eyes, staring at the little girl in front of him. Was it just him or he felt that the little girl's personality was slightly changed and her beauty increased? No.. it was probably his imagination.

The truth was, what An Wu felt was right on the mark. Every time Ming Yue dreamt of Chang'e past, the fragment of her soul as Chang'e and her memories returned bit by bit. Slowly but sure, it would became a complete picture of a Moon Goddess Chang'e. However the current Ming Yue didn't realize this at all.

"The head branch of Red Tiger wants to meet with you, little girl." An Wu said in stiff tone.

"Oh?" Ming Yue responded with an arched brow as she tilted her head, amus.e.m.e.nt could be seen on her black jade eyes. An Wu gritted his teeth hard as he saw how arrogant the little girl responded.

"I assume it's thanks to you that I have the honor to receive this invitation?" Ming Yue asked.

People started to look at them curiously, there were people started to call the police as they thought Ming Yue was going to be kidnapped and attacked. Ming Yue noticed that people began to gather, she sighed softly and answered to the leader.

"Let's go, I will come with you." Ming Yue said and walked toward the van and entered it nonchalantly.

The group of thugs had their jaws dropped, staring at the beauty who just made herself at home in their van as if she owned it. Was this really a girl?! How could she come along with gangsters just like that?! She should have tried to defend herself by asking for help or crying!

Ming Yue sat with crossed legs and both arms crossed on top of it, she stared at the group of men arrogantly as if they were just foolish monkeys, "Aren't you all coming? what are you all standing there like stupid monkeys for?"

Hearing Ming Yue's words, all the men had only one thought in their minds.

WHAT'S WITH THIS GREAT AUNT ATTITUDE?!

An Wu coughed awkwardly and entered the van, sitting next to Ming Yue. "Let's go." He ordered and the thugs came along into the van. Soon it drove away from the street.

Along the way, An Wu who was sitting next to Ming Yue, noticed the faint sweet fragrance that came from her. Not only An Wu, the thugs who joined in one van with Ming Yue noticed it. They kept glancing at Ming Yue, feeling that their throat became so dry, filled with thirst.

Ming Yue was oblivious about the sweet fragrance that came out of her body but she wasn't oblivious to their stare. While closing her eyes, a cold smile formed on her face as she opened her mouth and spoke, "Keep staring and I will gauge all of your eyes right here.. right now." A chilly murderous aura spread to the entire van, sending tremor of fear to anyone who felt it.

The men swallowed an air once as they felt the chilly murderous aura coming from the little girl. They finally realized that the little girl was not simple. Hell, she was the most dangerous person here instead of them!

An Wu closed his eyes, concentrating his mind as he tried to ignore the sweet fragrance that could seduce any sane men. Seriously, this little girl was truly like a demoness, her fragrance alone could lure any men and made them do her bidding.

The silence inside that van became eerie and suffocating as it drove closer to the small office building in D.3 district. Ming Yue whose eyes still closed, her consciousness called out to Qing Long and Bai Hu and spoke to their minds.

"Qing Long, Bai Hu.. get ready for the show." Ming Yue spoke in her mind and soon, both beasts voices echoed in hers.

"Yes, Master!"

The showdown would began the moment Ming Yue stepped out of the van. However Bai Zhang didn't know that he had invited calamity to his small office. It was something he regretted but.. there was no medicine for regret, wasn't it?
