Blood Moon spoke to his lord through mind, wanting for him to come and get him as soon as possible. He had to tell his lord about that damnable 'Heavenly Emperor' and his plan. Blood Moon still remembered how His Lord died in the hands of 'Heavenly Emperor' and 'King Yama'. Of course, Blood Moon didn't blame that man for killing His Lord but he blamed that man because HE was the main reason why all of those unfortunate events happened. The 'Heavenly Emperor' was the cause of it, Blood Moon clearly heard it at that time.

Thousand years ago.. At the peak of War Between Heaven Realm and Demon Realm..

"Ghhh!" Zhong Kui knelt in one knee, he stabbed his sword to the ground, holding it tightly so he didn't fall to the ground. Blood trickling down from his lips as he lifted his head to stare at the two men before him.

One was wearing black from head to toe, while the other wearing white that glittered with each movement. A tone full of hatred escaped from Zhong Kui's lips.

"...Heavenly Emperor.." Zhong Kui spat the name in disgust.

"Your madness stops here, Ghost King." Tian Huang spoke in cold tone. His usual gentle nature was nowhere to be found. King Yama who stood besides him, glanced at the man before staring at the man who was kneeling in one foot.

Sinister laughter escaped Zhong Kui's lips, "..Stop..?" He laughed even more, it was cold and humorless. "..Not until I KILL you, you traitor!"

Zhong Kui stood up after spitting blood to the ground, he pointed Blood Moon at Tian Huang, "..YOU are the reason why Chang'e died! You betrayed her!! WHY?!" Zhong Kui roared in rage. "She thinks of you as her older brother! WHY DID YOU BETRAY HER?!?!"

There was a short silence before Tian Huang answered, "Didn't you know the reason? It's because of YOU. If you didn't chase after her so stubbornly, she won't fall in love so deeply with a demon like you."

Zhong Kui laughed so hard, there was no humor could be heard in it. It was cold, sinister and full of mockery. Probably he laughed to mock the world for belittling his feelings for Chang'e. Was it not allowed for him to love someone? even if the person was someone from Heaven Realm? No.. there was nothing wrong with loving someone. The wrong one was others..

"..There is nothing wrong in loving her.." Zhong Kui spoke in hoarse voice, "..Chang'e and I are destined to be together.."

"The one that is wrong is you and others! You people was the cause of Chang'e's death! NOW DIE!!!" Zhong Kui roared and unleashed all of his internal energy.

"Master!!" Blood Moon shouted, tried to warn Zhong Kui but Zhong Kui didn't hear him.

It happened so fast. Zhong Kui brushed the blood that was on the corner of his lips with his two fingers, moving his hand so quick that it slightly caught Tian Huang and King Yama off guard. As the seal drawn in the air, it summoned Nine gates in silver color, surrounding the three of them.

"Nine Gates of Abyss!" Tian Huang spread his arms and moved it in front of his c.h.e.s.t.

King Yama flew to the opposite of Tian Huang, behind Zhong Kui, he also did the same hand movement like Tian Huang did. Both men gathered the energy between the palm of their hands. Both energies had golden color.

Seeing their action, Zhong Kui bent backward as more sinister laughter erupted from him. He stabbed Blood Moon to the ground and spread his hands up to the air, making a curve movement as both palm faced each other up in the air. Black colored energy with tinge of red, started to form in between.

"I WILL TAKE YOU BOTH WITH ME!!" Zhong Kui roared, making curving movement down to his c.h.e.s.t and spread it, pointing it to both Tian Huang and King Yama.

The three energies clashed with each other, golden with black while the nine gates slowly opened. The other gods saw that the nine gates were slowly opened and noticed that the Heavenly Emperor and King Yama were in deadlock with Ghost King, they flew towards the each gates. Each gods used internal energy to keep the gates from opening, that included a certain goddess but her eyes fixed at Tian Huang. No one noticed that she made a simple movement with her fingers and sent her tiny energy toward the energies that were surrounding the three, disrupting it.

*KABOOM!!*

There was explosion sound, Tian Huang and King Yama flew backwards while blood sprayed from Zhong Kui's lips and his body bent to the back, slowly fell to the ground. His eyes stared at the sky, seeing how the nine gates of abyss slowly disappeared.

"...Cha...ng'e..." Zhong Kui muttered the name of the woman he loved so much, even more than his own life. He wanted to lift his hand toward the sky, but his body grew heavy, didn't listen to what his mind wanted to do.

'...Chang'e... I am sorry..'

'..I failed to bring down the damn traitor.. to hell with me..'

'..I wonder.. if you will sulk.. when you meet me..'

'...Chang'e.. My sweet Chang'e...'

'..I never regret meeting you..'

'..Even if the heaven curses and resents me for loving you, I.. Zhong Kui, never regret it..'

Zhong Kui's eyes slowly closing down and as the darkness engulfed his mind, only one vow filled Zhong Kui's mind.

'If.. there is another life. I.. Zhong Kui.. will love you once again.. my 'Bright Moon'..'

That flashed of memories within Blood Moon, transferred to Zhi Qiang's mind as he stood at the center of the empty room which had two paths. The wall in front of him moved, creating a small path that led to a small altar and black sword was in that altar. It turned out, the right path was behind the wall not the left nor right.

Zhi Qiang stepped forward, heading slowly to the black sword at the altar. As he stopped in front of the sword, Zhi Qiang's eyes were slightly wet.

"That.. Memory you showed me.." Zhi Qiang spoke, his voice was hoarse. "...Is that.."

"That was the memory of your past life, My Lord." Blood Moon spoke, "..You are the Supreme Lord of Demon Realm, Zhong Kui and I am the sword that was made using the fragment of your soul, Blood Moon."

Zhi Qiang exhaled a heavy breath, his head hanged down as tears dropped from his eyes. It turned out as he expected to be, the dream he had about Chang'e and Zhong Kui. It was all the memories of his past life. Then.. where was Chang'e now? In the last moment of his death, Zhong Kui called her 'My Bright Moon'.

Bright Moon..

Was it... Ming Yue..?

Was Chang'e reincarnated as her..?

But what if it wasn't Ming Yue..

Would he love a woman while longing for another..?

"My Lord, I have been waiting for thousand years to be with you." Blood Moon said, "Take me and I shall share some memories I have with you."

Zhi Qiang put his gun back and reached out to grab the sword. As soon as he grabbed the hilt, torrent of memories rushed to his brain and huge energy invaded his body, as if it was going to tear it apart.

Loud scream of pain filled the altar room along with thunderous noise and the whole tomb shook greatly.
