Rebirth Of A Forged Villianess

Chapter 2 - Regrets and Rebirth

a huge clap of thunder jolted willow awake causing her to almost fall from her bed. what happened? didn't she just die? looking around the room she realized she must be dreaming. surrounding her was painted purple walls, lavish furniture, and glittery blue curtains. surely this was her bedroom from her childhood home. yet that was impossible. that house had burned down 5 years ago taking her parents lives, her flawless face, and delicate hands along with it. frowning at the thought willow gently touched her right cheek. to her suprise her skin no longer felt scarred instead it felt smooth and pleasant. not only that but her fingers didn't look bent or ache when they touched things.what is this?pushing aside stuffed animals and her favorite blanket, willow climbed out of bed. even the thick black carpet was the same! smiling sadly willow began reminiscing about the past. lost in thought she almost walked by a nearby mirror without noticing her reflection. like a frightened doe willow stopped and stood before the silver mirror unable to move. staring back at her was a pale young beauty who looked at most 16. her long light blonde hair cascaded down her body in waves curling at her slim waist. her limbs were thin and pale as was her neck and face. almost doll like the girls dark eyes glistened and beneath a pointed nose, her lush lips trembled. tears of joy wet her rosy cheeks and in that moment she could only praise the god who pitied her poor soul. this was her! she was young again! was this heaven? a dream? she didn't care! the most important thing was that it meant she could see her parents again! As if reading her mind a knock on the door interrupted willows celebration. "willow are you feeling better?" a lulling voice called out. standing in the doorway a beautiful woman with gentle brown eyes smiled towards her. "mother!"willow cried. without hesitation she ran and jumped into her mothers opened arms. savoring the sound of her beating heart, her familiar smell of jasmine and warm embrace willow laid her head against her mothers c.h.e.s.t in a tight hug. this was real! she really could save everyone now! she had so many regrets in the past but now she had the chance to fix the ones that mattered most.
