returning to the hotel willow texted a word of thanks for the help to louis and ricardo then woke her mother to eat. the once gorgeous marissa was now sullen yet beautiful giving off a morose air. sitting up in bed with the blanket pooled around her slim waist, her hair and eyes were a mess from crying alone. trying her best to hide it from willow, she began smiling gratefully as she opened the container of food that willow brought from the restaurant. thanks to ricardos advice willow brought her mother eggplant parmesan marissa's favorite Italian dish. her dark face slightly brightened at the sight of the yummy food and she began to eat it dutifully as willow made her a glass of tea. smiling warmly at her mother eating in bed, willow fluffed up another pillow and placed it behind marissa's back for support. this thoughtful action reminded marissa of tobias, immediately bringing tears to her eyes as she chewed her food.

the sight of her grieving mother was a little too much for willow then. the strong and calm marissa was breaking down and it was too pitiful. she had been with tobias for almost 20 years. how else could she feel besides miserable? losing a husband in her late 30s with a daughter to support must be overwhelmingly hard emotionally. not only do you lose your husband but you must keep going to help your child. no showing the sorrow that builds up inside or the anger for your cruel fate. willow really wished she could do something else for her momma but nothing seemed appropriate. what could cheer up someone who just lost their husband? deciding to give her mother some peace willow hugged her side then laid down at the foot of the bed. there she went through the many texts she received after her fathers death. all were words of condolences but a few messages asked when the funeral would take place. irritated willow threw her phone to the side and sighed. since her father had been burned to nothing in the fire there was no body to bury. this fact upset her mother more than anything. she dared not to bring it up in fear her mother would break down. willows heart felt heavy at the thought. what was the the next best move?
