As the night came, Li Lian returned home as usual with a tired appearance after work. When she opened the door, she saw Ye Cheng with MeiMei watching a comic book.

When Li Lian saw this scene, an attractive smile appeared on her beautiful face and asked: "How was your trip today?"

Before Ye Cheng could answer, MeiMei who was reading the book immediately stood up hugging the woolen rabbit toy that was bigger than her and rushed to her mother.

Li Lian blinked her eyes, MeiMei was really carrying a large stuff toy, she was shocked and asked: "Who send over this thing?"

"Mama." MeiMei looked at Li Lian and pounced into her mom's bosom.

"You have return?" Ye Cheng smiled and say: "Today after I have brought MeiMei to sign up for kindergarten, I bought it conveniently on the way back home."

He was satisfied when he saw Li Lian expressions.

"Bought conveniently…" Li Lian was surprised for a moment but regained her composure and asked:

"So you signed up MeiMei for kindergarten?"

Although Ye Cheng promised to take MeiMei to sign up for kindergarten today, she was still afraid that he would take the money and do something from his past bad habits.

"That's right mama, today papa brought me to the kindergarten. There was a lot of people and there was cars that are faster than the bus we rode, and papa said he would buy a SUPER car and take MeiMei to every place" MeiMei acted cutely in Li Lian's embrace.

"Don't worry mama, MeiMei won't forget about mama, and will make papa take mama with us" MeiMei seemed to realize something and added.

"Really! MeiMei is a good girl that she remembered about mama" Li Lian smiled as she stroked MeiMei's hair then turned to Ye Chen and said:

"Sigh, I know that you made a sum of money but you can't spend it all like this, you should save some in case we needed it in the future"

"You don't need to worry about that. I will work harder and earn more from the game, also today other than signing up for MeiMei kindergarten, after buying a few more items I am left with about 40 thousand Yuans." Ye Cheng said with a confident smile.

After pausing a little Ye Cheng decided to continue:

"I plan to give Zhou Ying 30 thousand Yuans, after all he has helped us a lot and I owe him much more than that"

As he finished talking, Ye Cheng took out a small stack of folded money from his pocket and passed it in Li Lian's hand.

Li Lian was stunned when she felt Ye Cheng passing the money into her hand. Feeling the money in her hand, she was finally sure that Ye Cheng had really changed and this was not a dream.

Li Lian knew pretty well that Zhou Ying's family was not that will off but he still gave the money to Ye Cheng when he needed, it's really hard to believe that people like this still exit in this world.

"He is not a friend, he is my brother" a warm smile appeared on Ye Cheng's face as he said that.

"Mama, papa bought all of this for me." MeiMei pointed at a pile of items which consist of shoes, stuffed toy, comic books...

Ye Cheng have really changed.

Li Lian eyes started to mist. Ye Cheng softly said as he brushed away her tears: "I have also bought you a present take a look and see if you like it."

When he finished, Ye Cheng took out a boohoo frill hem midi skirt. At first he wanted to buy a T-shirt, but when the attendant asked about her 3 sizes, he was stumped, hence he decided to buy a midi skirt that looked like it would fit her.

"A bit tight..." Li Lian compared the midi skirt to her waist and gave her opinion.

"Well…Let's change it tomorrow." Said Ye Cheng a little embarrassed

"NO! I'll keep it"

"Eh?" Ye Cheng made a sound in doubt.

"This is the first present you have given me after we got married." Li Lian kept the midi skirt away carefully.

To celebrate Ye Cheng's improvement and MeiMei's signing up for kindergarten, Li Lian decided to make a big diner tonight.

Originally according to their usual dinner, Li Lian would only make two dishes, a boiled cabbage dish and a lettuce fried pork dish. The fried pork was very less, and was only put in to improve the taste.

But today dishes were excessive compared to their previous ones, as their daughter school fees had been settled, Li Lian could finally breathe a sigh of relief and decided to buy a big fish to improve their diner tonight.

For a lot of people, this type of dinner couldn't be more normal and can't be called luxurious dinner. But to Ye Cheng, this was the most delicious dinner he have ever eaten in years.

Anything he could eat with a family was much better than anything he had eaten in his past lonely life.

"Be careful of the spine."

When Li Lian bought the fish, she requested the fishmonger to cut the fish into bigger pieces, especially the fish belly portion which was the biggest. These portions only have big spines and does not have small spines. Li Lian gave the fish belly to their daughter and even gave Ye Cheng two slices of fish belly. But for herself she picked the fish tail portion.

Fish tail have the most spine, most of it is small spine and fine spine.

Seeing that MeiMei asked curiously: "Mama, why did you eat fish tail every time?"

"Because mama like to eat fish tail." Li Lian answered while smiling faintly.

Hearing that, Ye Cheng sighed inwardly.

'She was really having a hard life supporting this family alone'

Ye Cheng was very sympathetic towards her and even had a strange feeling of pain in his heart.

When he has finished eating, Ye Cheng took the initiative to do the cleaning and picked up the bowls to the kitchen to wash it.

Li Lian was very tired after a day of hard work so she made an appreciative look towards Ye Cheng.

Ye Cheng was washing the bowls in the kitchen giving his back to Li Lian who kept looking at his back with dreamy eyes, she couldn't remember the last time the Ye Cheng had cared for her this much.

'Sigh, I don't even remember the last time we touched each other' suddenly Li Lian remembered the last kiss in the kitchen and her face blushed slightly.

"Mama! Are you ok?" MeiMei who was at the side and saw her mother's face turned red asked with concern.

"Haha, nothing baby mama is fine" Li Lian smiled awkwardly and her face turned more red.

As the night deepened, everyone went to bed.

After waiting for their daughter to fall asleep, Li Lian's legs and arms sprawled on top on Ye Cheng.

"Oh, what are you doing Li Lian?" Ye Cheng who had not fallen into deep sleep asked in doubt.

Li Lian pinched Ye Cheng face and smiled: "Oh, why did you change the way you call me to Li Lian instead of wife?"

"No..." Ye Cheng was thinking of something to explain, but as he was being stared at by Li Lian's beautiful eyes, he said blankly: "Wife."

"En...hubby, tomorrow I am on leave." Li Lian voice suddenly became very faint: "About that…hubby, the thing that I promised you yesterday, we can do it tonight."

Listening to Li Lian voice which becomes cuter, Ye Cheng suddenly remembered scene of their dinner, and started to feel heart pain for Li Lian.

In the morning, she goes out to do exhausting work, when cooking she would give all of the delicious portions of the dishes to MeiMei, in the night still needed to be tormented by himself, how could she bear it?

Because of their daughter, Ye Cheng didn't not dare to make loud noises, instead pulled Li Lian into his embrace. Borrowing the moonlight, closely examined Li Lian beautiful face, afterwards gently kissed down.

"Wu Wu…" Li Lian who was being hugged by him tightly, was unable to make any sound.

From her soft lips to her swan like fair throat, finally gently pecks her forehead. Li Lian closed her eyes and waited for Ye Cheng next actions, but Ye Cheng lied down on her side and said softly.

"Wait for me to earn more money, then we shall open a tee shop or a hotpot shop, you shall be the lady boss, every day foes down to settle the account. In the free time, you can go with your bosom friends to buy items, do spa…"

As Ye Cheng was talking his voice was becoming quieter, suddenly there was not any sound coming from him. Li Lian's voice returned to normal and said faintly to him: "Idiot, do you know how happy I was when you have changed? I only wish to be with you and MeiMei, to assist you and educate the children, as long as you don't return to your past actions, I'll be more than happy and won't ask you for anything more"

Ye Cheng still didn't react.

Li Lian realized that Ye Cheng had fallen asleep as he was rambling. She helplessly smiled and tucked Ye Cheng in before going to sleep.

Ye Cheng stealthily opened his eyes and looked at Li Lian, after realizing that she is preparing to sleep, he closed his eyes and continued to sleep, this this time for real.
