"Jiao Jiao, let's go faster. I'm starving so much that if you won't walk faster, I will just eat you up instead!"

Gu Xiao Yue said that as she pulled on Feng Jiao's hands as her walking pace was faster than usual.

"Oi oi oi, don't say such ambiguous words or I will take it as an invitation. Lol!" Feng Jiao laughed at her own joke as she really found it funny.

"Don't just laugh around like that. I'm really hungry! You better treat me to a meal today then!" Gu Xiao Yue glared at Feng Jiao who was still laughing at her own joke.

"Sheesh. Fine. It's not like the food will run away. Sigh, my usually cool friend turns into a stranger when it comes to food. Sighh..."

Feng Jiao sighed as if she found it really surprising.

"And doesn't it goes the same for you too?" Gu Xiao Yue raised her eyebrow when she heard her say that and retorted back.

"Hahaha. I guess it does."

They laughed and hurried to their favourite restaurant, Tantalising Scent when Gu Xiao Yue suddey bumped into a hard c.h.e.s.t. Her nose almost felt like it had broken as she hissed in pain and rubbed her nose.

Gu Xiao Yue looked at the culprit behind it when she then swallowed the words she was about to blurt out in anger when she found out that it was actually her newly made 'friend'!

"Long Wei? So it was you. I was about to scold you for being blind when I thought it was someone else. Why are you here?"

Gu Xiao Yue asked him as she still rubbed her slightly sore and red nose.

Xuan Xi Xue was also beside Bai Long Wei. He couldn't help but blurt out.

" Aren't you still cursing at him in a roundabout way though? "

Then he got a smack on his head from Bai Long Wei which made him look at him with a wronged face.

"Are you here to have a meal? What a coincidence! We are also here to have a meal. How about we stick together for meal?"

Gu Xiao Yue smiled and changed the subject when her scheme was seen through by Xuan Xi Xue, this sly fox.

"Mm. It's a good idea." Bai Long Wei nodded in consent.

"Oh? You have a friend today! Good good. Or else I would only feel like a third wheeler whenever I have dinner with you two."

Xuan Xi Xue said that as if he was lifted off of a burden on his back. But his eyes were smiling mischievously when he looked at Feng Jiao.

"Oh right. This is my friend, Feng Jiao. We came here right after the exams as we were starving. Anyway, let's first go to the room and talk. It's not nice to talk in open doors."

Gu Xiao Yue introduced Feng Jiao after she was reminded about it and didn't notice the strangeness in Feng Jiao's eyes when she saw the two figures in front of her.

Feng Jiao had felt as if a huge stone hammered at her heart and brain when she saw the person whom Gu Xiao Yue had bumped head on into.

She was scared shitless when she saw that nightmarish face of the man who made him unable to relax whenever he was around her.

She was also scared shitless because she knew that this dangerous man didn't like any girl touching him even a bit and would either break their hands or the part that touched him.

And now that her own friend was in trouble, she didn't know what she could do to get her out of this mess but then to her surprise which was as if she had seen a ghost, she saw that Gu Xiao Yue was very familiar with that dangerous man and even spoke to him so frankly while also joked with him.

That man didn't even flinch nor frown at her and spoke to her in a gentler manner which she had never seen him do so before. She felt as if the world was spinning as she didn't even know if she was actually dreaming or hallucinating.

She was brought back to her senses after Gu Xiao Yue called out for her to go to the room and after that it became like this.

'Ugh...I should have checked my fortune today before stepping out. What bad luck!'

Feng Jiao thought bitterly as she looked at Xuan Xi Xue who was smiling at her meaningfully which made her glance at the dangerous man infront of her and immediately shifted her eyes down.

"Tell me if you really don't feel well, okay Jiao Jiao?" Gu Xiao Yue said that again in concern towards her friend.

Feng Jiao nodded weakly as a sign of consent then lifted her fork with a piece of meat to her mouth. But she couldn't taste it's flavour and only chewed it slowly.

" Anyway, how was your exams Xiao Yue?" Xuan Xi Xue asked her as if to disperse the awkward atmosphere inside.

Bai Long Wei glared at him from the corner of his eyes when he spoke up. His eyes saying, 'That's what I wanted to ask first!'

Xuan Xi Xue again felt wronged by his glare which made him want to cry but no tears fell from his eyes.

"It was great. Now waiting for the results." Gu Xiao Yue didn't see the exchange of glares between Bai Long Wei and Xuan Xi Xue as her focus was on the food on the table and replied as she put a piece of meat inside her mouth.

"That's good then." Xuan Xi Xue replied with a smile as he also ate his food.

Bai Long Wei couldn't think of what to say at all so he picked some of Gu Xiao Yue's favourite food and put it on her plate.

Gu Xiao Yue smiled at him gratefully when she saw him helping her with his now got-used-to manner. She thought that this cold man wasn't as he looked outside but was actually very cute.

Bai Long Wei also ate his own food in silence as he occasionally helped Gu Xiao Yue pick some food which made her plate to become full of dishes.

Seeing this made Gu Xiao Yue unable to decide whether to laugh or cry while Feng Jiao was experiencing another great sky toppling shock as her eyes were widened big like a saucer since Bai Long Wei helped Gu Xiao Yue to pick her favourite food.

And he was also very knowledgeable about her likes and dislikes. She thought that the man infront of her wasn't the one she knew but someone else disguised as him. She even wanted to shout out loud and question him whether he was a fake.

Gu Xiao Yue didn't know about the thoughts inside Feng Jiao's mind as she enjoyed her meal peacefully with Bai Long Wei 'assisting' her in serving her food.

Xuan Xi Xue was secretly laughing at the stupified expression in Feng Jiao's face who was now ignored by the two 'couples'.

He knew her since 2 years ago and still had the memories when they first met deeply rooted in his mind which was when she pissed her pants just from the sight of Bai Long Wei's cold and dangerous aura.

He had found her reactions towards Bai Long Wei funny ever since then and would always tease her because of it with her big brother.

They actually got along well like brother and sister(brother) as he wasn't so unapproachable like Bai Long Wei.

They finished their meal after a long peaceful but awkward moment and got out of the restaurant together as Xuan Xi Xue paid for the meal.

"Thank you for treating us to the meal. Next time when we have time together, I will treat you for the meal instead as a pay back."

Gu Xiao Yue said that as she smiled at the two extraordinarily handsome men.

"It's alright. I can treat you for meal anytime. You don't have to pay me back." Bai Long Wei said that as he looked at her smiling beautiful face as his eyes became much more gentler which wasn't that noticeable of a change.

"But I was the one who paid for the meal though." Xuan Xi Xue muttered at the side under his breath but still everyone heard it. He then got another smack on the back of his head from Bai Long Wei.

"Ow! What is this for, now? I only said the truth!" Xuan Xi Xue cried out in injustice.

"You work for me, I provide the money. So it's the same as me paying for the meal." Bai Long Wei said that as if a matter of fact.

Xuan Xi Xue could only glare at him hatefully as he rubbed the back of his head in pain.

Gu Xiao Yue chuckled when she saw them like this then said.

" Okay, we will be going home now. Let's meet again next time."

"How about I drop you two home?" Bai Long Wei said.

"No, it's fine. I will also take Feng Jiao to see a doctor to check if she is really fine or not. We will go home together so you don't have to worry about it."

Gu Xiao Yue said that as she still remembered that Feng Jiao was acting strange and was still worried if she had fallen sick despite her denying it.

Since she had already said it, Bai Long Wei then let her do what she wanted and then bid her goodbye as he and Xuan Xi Xue got inside the car and the drove off from there.
